Big Tech companies have become so large – gobbling up a huge slice of the global marketplace and an unprecedented treasure hoard of user data – that they’re now more powerful than many states. All these problems are only getting worse with generative AI.

We’ve launched landmark cases seeking structural changes to big tech’s harmful business models, supported 180+ Facebook content moderators fired for trying to form a union to sue Facebook and their outsourcing company, Sama – winning world-first judgements. We are a small but growing team of lawyers, communications experts, and campaigners. Our work is global, and we work in partnership with lawyers, civil society, unions, and people impacted by Big Tech.
The role
As Head of Operations, you will lead all operational functions of Foxglove. You will ensure that our finance, HR, legal compliance, fundraising, systems and internal processes enable the organisation to carry out its mission effectively. You’ll work across Foxglove and closely with leadership, as well as with external partners to build a resilient and well-governed organisation, able to manage growth and complexity while staying mission driven. This role manages one member of staff and multiple consultants.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Financial Management & Accounting
1.Oversee financial operations: budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, expenditure controls, financial reporting, payroll.
2.Ensure compliance with accounting standards, audit requirements and donor / funder financial reporting obligations.
3.Manage relationships with external accountants, auditors, banks, and financial service providers.
4.Ensure appropriate and best practice financial policies and controls are in place.
5.Ensure financial risk is identified and managed appropriately.
Fundraising & Development
1.Contribute to the organisation’s fundraising strategy in collaboration with the Co-Executive Directors and Head of Strategy.
2.Ensure systems are in place to track and manage grants, philanthropic donations, and other income streams.
3.Support the preparation of funding proposals and reports and ensure accurate and timely reporting to funders.
4.Support relationship management with key donors, foundations and partners.
Operational Systems & Processes
1.Develop and maintain efficient operational processes and systems (e.g. finance, HR, IT, data protection, office management).
2.Ensure proper policies and procedures are in place for procurement, vendor management, travel & expenses, and record-keeping.
3.Oversee the infrastructure that supports remote / hybrid working, ensuring tools and systems support collaboration, security, and productivity.
Compliance, Risk & Governance
1.Lead on organisational compliance: legal, regulatory, health & safety, data protection / GDPR, employment law.
2.Ensure the organisation’s policies and procedures are best practice, legally compliant and up to date.
3.Establish and monitor risk management frameworks and our risk register.
4.Support governance structures (internal reporting, director meetings etc.), ensuring decisions are well informed and documented.
Human Resources & People Operations
1.Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and staff development.
2.Ensure policies on equality, diversity, inclusion and wellbeing are embedded in how we work.
3.Foster a positive culture in line with Foxglove’s values.
Team Leadership & Collaboration

Person specification

·Minimum of 5-7 years of senior operations / finance / business operations experience, including line management

Individual Giving Lead (Donor Development)

Individual Giving Lead (Donor Development)
As our Donor Development Lead, through testing, learning and optimising, you will work with colleagues across Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust (ACT) to deliver a programme of offline and online products and campaigns (including appeals, newsletters and bespoke touchpoints) to existing supporters to generate income through one-off, regular giving and legacy income.

The Role

This is far more than a technical finance role. As a key member of the SMT, the Director of Finance will hold collective responsibility for the overall leadership, culture, performance, and strategic direction of the organisation, working collaboratively with fellow senior leaders to ensure our values shape decision-making at every level.
Alongside strategic financial leadership, the role includes senior oversight of Facilities and IT, recognising the vital role these services play in the provision of safe and effective services. The role also operates as Company Secretary and takes responsibility for information governance.

About You
You will be a senior finance leader who combines professional expertise with strong interpersonal skills and a clear commitment to values-based leadership. You will bring:
- A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA, or equivalent).
- Significant senior-level financial leadership experience, ideally within a charity, healthcare, public sector, or complex not-for-profit environment.

About the Role
This is a rare opportunity to take on a senior philanthropy role with real influence, autonomy and scope, combining strong core income delivery, with the chance to lead a major capital expansion appeal for The Treehouse Hospice in Ipswich which will significantly enhance the services we can provide to children, young people and their families.
Reporting into the Director of Fundraising, this senior leadership role within our Fundraising team, responsible for delivering around £3 million in income annually.

- Lead and implement the Philanthropy & Partnerships strategy to achieve ambitious income targets.

About the role
If you have significant experience of delivering and guiding health and safety in a large organisation as well as providing advice and guidance on health and safety issues on both a strategic and operational level this could be the role for you.
You will have first class leadership skills, with the ability to manage a disbursed staff team as well as the excellent interpersonal skills to support and influence colleagues, senior managers, volunteers and others.
The successful candidate will be able to build effective relationships, manage a diverse workload as well as being able to analyse and deal with complex or difficult situations, with skill and discretion.
Responsibilities
- Manage all safety, health and environmental issues within the MSSC, working closely with the Director of Young People, Volunteer & Business Support and other members of the senior management team, the area, offshore, training and other teams as appropriate.
- Manage a disbursed team of Safety Assurance Officers with the support of a Deputy Head of Safety, Health & Environment.
- Monitor changes to legislation and advise CEO and Trustees of their impact on the MSSC and any required actions and/or policy changes.
- Report and analyse safety data and identifying trends or issues.
Requirements
- Hold a formal qualification in Health & Safety (NEBOSH Certificate or higher).
- Up to date knowledge of H&S legislation, developments, practice and management.
- Experience of risk management and compliance systems.
- Significant experience of providing advice and guidance on H&S issues at a senior professional level; both operational and strategic.
- Experience of managing and supporting a staff team.

About the Role
As Programme Coordinator for Money Heroes, you’ll play a pivotal role in our flagship primary programme, helping children develop financial capability.
You’ll work closely with the Programme Manager and Money Heroes team to:
- Coordinate teacher training events and programme delivery
- Support marketing, promotion, and social media campaigns
- Coordinate content development and website updates
- Help monitor and evaluate programme impact
- Provide high-level customer service to teachers, educators, and YE colleagues

Marauders Men's Health is a dynamic, South Wales-based charity dedicated to improving the health, wellbeing, and mental fitness of men through connection and support. We are the community where men can walk, talk, and grow together, underpinned by the Five Ways to Wellbeing model (Connect, Be Active, Give, Take Notice, Learn).
We have established strong foundations, including secured funding from the Big Lottery Community Fund over three years, a full Board of Trustees, and a growing programme of 8 events each week, including Walk & Talks and Sports Hubs. We are seeking an inspiring leader to drive our ambitious strategy to engage 7,000 men and provide 330 Personal Wellbeing Plans over the next three years.

Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Board of Trustees, this crucial role is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and operational delivery of the charity. Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic & Operational Leadership
· Lead the day-to-day running and strategic direction of the charity in line with the Board’s vision.
· Develop, manage, and oversee the charity's resources and workstreams.

3. People & Volunteer Management

· Help inspire 100 men to give back to the community through volunteering.
4. Partnerships & IT Development
· Maintain and forge new community partnerships (e.g. with voluntary organisations, NGO’s, other charities and social enterprises) to enhance volunteering, education, and wellbeing services.
· Spearhead the development of our IT Platform, focusing on a robust website and a Beneficiary Management System (CRM) for efficient reporting, data capture, and engagement.
· Oversee digital marketing and communications, including newsletters and social media content.

The Marketing and Communications Officer will play a key role in delivering Deafblind UK’s marketing and communications activity, helping to tell powerful stories, grow brand awareness, and strengthen engagement with people with lived experience, supporters, funders, and the wider public.
Working alongside the Head of Marketing & Communications, the postholder will act as a proactive and trusted collaborator, supporting teams across services, fundraising, volunteering and operations. This role is not only about delivering day-to-day communications; it will also play a key part in our next stage of growth—bringing energy, creativity and new ways of thinking to help us expand our influence and impact.

Responsibilities
Content & Campaigns
- Research, write and publish engaging content across multiple channels (website, social media, email, press, print).
- Create photo and video content.
- Develop case studies and human-interest stories that bring Deafblind UK’s work to life.
- Support the planning and delivery of national campaigns (e.g. Deafblind Awareness Week, annual conference, fundraising appeals).
- Produce and schedule content using tools such as Hootsuite, Mailchimp and Canva (or similar).
- Internal Business Partnering
- Act as a responsive and proactive marketing partner for internal teams, building strong relationships with colleagues across the organisation.
- Understand the goals and priorities of internal stakeholders, translating them into effective communications outputs.
- Respond promptly to requests for marketing and communications support, prioritising, managing resources advising and guiding colleagues to achieve the best outcomes.

We are an award winning charity, regiestered with the Charities commission, 1159007, and thanks to funding from the National Lottery Community Fund, we are seeking a person to coordinate, promote, and support the events and activities of Let’s Grow Preston through high-quality communications and practical logistics.
We’re looking for someone calm, sociable, enthusiastic, confident, creative, and well-organised, with the ability to produce engaging content across a range of media channels and build strong relationships with stakeholders to boost community engagement and fundraising.
You’ll also provide hands-on support: loading equipment, preparing event packs, collecting and distributing food, and gathering information for funding applications and reports to the Board of Trustees.
While the role is primarily focused on communications and general administration on behalf of the charity, it’s varied and active; you’ll regularly support events and be willing to get stuck in wherever needed.
Regular evening and weekend work will be required as part of the LGP events and community support.
A full, clean driving licence is essential, as the role involves driving the charity van. Although exceptional candidates without one may still be considered based on other strengths.
Key Responsibilities
· Act as the first point of contact for all visitors and for general enquiries - managing the everyday admin — phone calls, emails, and unexpected (sometimes bizarre!) requests — with sensitivity and efficiency, filtering out what doesn’t need to reach senior staff.
· Communicate regularly with LGP’s network of community groups, schools, partners, and stakeholders across the PR postcode.
· Maintain friendly, professional communication with internal and external contacts in the public, private, and voluntary sectors.
· Support staff to ensure all communications reflect LGP’s tone, values, and visual identity.
· Ensure all volunteers have access to the volunteer handbook, and communicate policy updates in a timely and clear manner.

About the Role
