Job Title: Commercial Partnership Manager

Pay range: £42,000 to £47,000 full time equivalent. £33,600 to £37,600 actual salary, dependant on experience.
Working hours: 28 hours per week within normal operating hours (35 hours full time equivalent). Normal operating hours are 8.00am - 6.30pm, Monday – Friday. Lunch and other breaks are unpaid.
Special conditions: Some evening and weekend work may be required for which time off in lieu (TOIL) will be granted. Some travel will be required which may entail some overnight stays.

JOB PURPOSE
The postholder is responsible for securing, managing, and growing commercial partnerships with organisations that support AdviceUK’s mission, values and strategic priorities. These partnerships should significantly increase AdviceUK’s commercial income, extend AdviceUK’s reach, and achieve measurable social impact. The postholder will ensure that commercial partnerships both comply with relevant legal and regulatory requirements and contribute positively to AdviceUK’s reputation and influence.
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Partnership development
Identify, research, and secure new commercial and corporate partnership opportunities aligned with AdviceUK’s strategic and income generation priorities.
Identify and develop new products and services that benefit members, grow income, and support member recruitment and retention.
Shape new products and services with user and sector insight, applying structured approaches to testing, evaluation and scaling. Ensure that pricing, return on investment and other financial modelling is completed to demonstrate how new products or services deliver agreed objectives.
Bring external market insight into AdviceUK’s strategic planning and decision making, ensuring that commercial partnership propositions are clearly differentiated in the markets they are targeting.
Work with the Head of Membership and Services, other colleagues at AdviceUK, and AdviceUK’s existing commercial partners to develop a commercial partnership strategy, business plan and pipeline.
Lead negotiations and contract discussions in partnership with the Head of Membership and Services, Finance and where relevant, AdviceUK commercial partners and subsidiaries.
Ensure all partnerships align with the charity’s mission, values and ethical standards.
Carry out appropriate due diligence and risk assessments on commercial partners
2. Partnership management and growth
Act as the primary relationship manager for AdviceUK’s current commercial partners and subsidiaries to ensure they feel valued, informed, and engaged throughout the partnership lifecycle.
Maximise the value of established partnerships through renewals, extensions, upselling opportunities, and agreed new income generation activity. Support cross‑team collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Identify opportunities for innovation and growth within AdviceUK’s commercial partnerships portfolio.
Support the communication of impact to partners, including reporting on outcomes enabled by their support.
Represent AdviceUK at events, conferences and networks relevant to the commercial partnerships portfolio.
3. Income generation and performance
Ensure all partnerships deliver against agreed financial and non‑financial objectives. Contribute to departmental budgeting and forecasting.
Monitor partnership performance and provide accurate reporting on partnership income, engagement, and impact.
Contribute to the ongoing review of existing commercial partnerships and service level agreements, making recommendations for change as required.
Share learning, insight, and good practice to continually improve commercial partnership approaches.
Ensure compliance with Charity Commission and Companies House guidance, relevant fundraising regulations, and internal governance policies.
Work closely with AdviceUK colleagues to deliver integrated partnership activities.
4. Data and evidence
Support the delivery of performance reports as required to evidence the extent to which commercial partnerships are achieving required KPIs.
Work with colleagues to ensure that partnership datasets are accurate, timely and support decision making.
Ensure any partnership activity that requires data sharing adheres to data protection and cybersecurity requirements.

We are looking for an experienced Communications and Marketing Manager with excellent organisational
skills to develop, implement and manage effective communication strategies for a charity based in the
healthcare sector, with a national and local reach across the UK and Ireland.
You’ll have demonstrable experience in planning and implementing different communications strategies
across a range of marketing channels to help us grow our organisational profile, uphold our vision

You will be integral to our communications and marketing approach, collaborating with colleagues who manage our social media and published communications (e.g. member magazine). Above all you are someone who fosters an organisation wide approach working with, mentoring and supporting colleagues to ensure a planned, structured and collaborative approach to our communications and marketing planning.
The ideal candidate must have a proven track record in managing communications, producing effective content and campaigns across a range of channels (print, digital, online) for at least TWO years, ideally bringing additional experience from within the charity sector.
The role is primarily remote and the successful applicant can work from a location of their choice (subject to representing the charity at key meetings, internal meetings and exhibitions throughout the year). The role holder will make optimum use of video conferencing and online collaboration tools to work as part of a wider communications team so the team feels connected and engaged in its approach.

Job Purpose:

Digital Fundraising Officer - 12-month Maternity Cover
The Veterans' Foundation is entering its second decade with a clear ambition to build a more sustainable, diversified and data-led fundraising model. Following ten years of rapid growth driven primarily through lottery acquisition, the organisation is now evolving its approach to strengthen supporter engagement, improve retention and maximise fundraising performance across a wider range of income streams.
This role will play an important part in that transition. As the Foundation launches a new website, develops its use of Salesforce and strengthens its supporter communications, the Digital Fundraising Officer will help deliver effective digital fundraising and engagement activity across multiple channels. Principal Duties
The main duties of the Digital Fundraising Officer are:

We're looking for a digital leader. To us, that means you’ll be able to advise clients on how to align their digital presence with their organisational goals. You’ll know what good looks like, and you’ll have the interpersonal skills to explain and convince others of your views.
Ever-curious, you’re the kind of person that is always looking for opportunities to make digital deliver for clients. You'll have an instinctive sense of what will (and won't) work on various platforms (websites, data platforms, Substacks, etc.), how they should complement each other and what it means to build an engaged online audience.
You'll have that instinct because you've done it before: you know how to set digital/design KPIs and manage a team to meet those targets; you’ve run enough website build processes to do it in your sleep, and you know how to identify things a client should do, and explain to them why they should invest in doing them.
You’ll have a number of responsibilities from day one. You’ll take over advising our largest digital clients and be responsible for supporting them in their mission.
You’ll be the new business lead for any strategy projects that require digital infrastructure – that means identifying what needs to change, writing those ideas into proposals, and pitching them. And you will own the digital roadmap for client content-led platforms, ensuring that the content isn’t just ‘published’ but drives audience growth.

The challenge
Our clients work in the front line of campaigning to make the world a better place. Their websites are often the first thing funders and policymakers will check to see how legitimate or credible an organisation is. Nothing kills credibility faster than a website that loads slowly, categorises content in a way that no-one outside the organisation understands, or a site where the design is just… bad.
The challenge is that too many policy websites prioritise internal audiences over external. Rather than thinking “what does policymaker X need to see?”, the question is “what do senior management want to see on the website?” This leads to websites that are an output in themselves, rather than websites that lead to outcomes.
Your job is to ensure that all our digital workstreams avoid that trap; that they prioritise outcomes (hard to do), over simple outputs (anyone can do).
What we are looking for:
Someone who prizes outcomes over outputs, and knows how to adapt their approach to achieve best results.
Clear leadership of a digital function–in a consultancy, a nonprofit, or another relevant organisation.

This is a rare opportunity to launch a charitable lottery from the ground up. You’ll work closely with our External Lottery Manager (ELM) and lead Woodgreen through to our first weekly draw. Alongside the lottery, you’ll take ownership of our raffle programme — which has just gone through a successful transformation and continues to grow — and bring the two products together into one thriving gaming programme.
You will:
Bringing significant experience of managing a charity lottery or raffle programme, alongside substantial experience of developing and delivering direct marketing campaigns you will have strong project and budget management skills, and a detailed working knowledge — or a real appetite to build one — of large society lottery compliance, including responsible gambling and marketing rules.
Above all, you will be genuinely analytical, comfortable working with data, confident interrogating campaign results, and skilled at spotting the patterns that drive better decisions. You will use insight to challenge assumptions — including your own — and to keep raising the bar on what your campaigns deliver. Organised and comfortable juggling multiple priorities, you will be a confident communicator at ease briefing agencies and working across teams, someone who cares about doing things properly: brand, compliance and supporter experience all matter equally.

Community Engagement
Support our digital community through different discussion groups and platforms (social media, hubs, etc). Including liaising with internal teams and promoting best practice.
