About the Role
The Agreements Unit Section Assistant will be responsible for processing of ITF Agreement applications, monitoring consultations, assembling and verifying evidence in support of beneficial ownership; representing the ITF to ship-owners, affiliates and inspectors in connection with agreement processes and related matters; responsible for identifying source of cash receipts relating to Welfare Fund, including unallocated cash receipts and membership fees and preparing special agreements and related documentation.
The Assistant will work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve ITF Agreements and other issues; secure the active interests of ITF’s aims and objectives and provide narrative reports for relevant decision-making bodies including constitutional and non-constitutional entities within ITF structures.
About the You
A professional, with Maritime background and trade union experience are desirable. Competent in Microsoft Word and Excel at intermediate level; broad experience in general administration and data inputting as well as knowledge of and experience working on database such as Microsoft CRM. High level communication skills, both verbally and in writing are key requirements, plus a proven ability to develop positive relationships with organisations and individuals across diverse cultures. Due to the nature of the organisation and the role, speaking a second language would be an advantage.

There when it matters
About the role:
The prospect research and pipeline management role will support high value fundraising across the Corporate, Trust and Community or Regional fundraising teams through prospect research, network mapping, lead qualification, and due diligence checks. This role will also manage the pipeline management process on our CRM ensuring the teams have access to dashboards tracking their donors across the stages of solicitation and be able to provide insight reports into how well we are moving prospects through the pipelines. This role will also be required to develop processes and ensure we are working within data protection and fundraising regulations and that our due diligence is tracked and auditable.
About you:
• Educated to degree level or with equivalent relevant work experience
• Familiarity with prospect research tools and the ability to identify and recommend the best tools to support our work using the budget as cost effectively as possible.
• Thorough working knowledge of GDPR as it relates to major donor fundraising and the Fundraising codes to practise.
• Experience of undertaking due diligence checks on prospective donors and of setting up and implementing policies and processes to ensure and demonstrate adherence to regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build supportive and collaborative relationships with colleagues both across fundraising and the organisation including the ability to chair meetings and present data and insight.
• Experience of working on a variety of requests and ability to manage and prioritise workload whilst being responsive
Essential Criteria
• Previous experience of driving forward process improvements, implementing new processes or systems, and working with colleagues to embed such change.
• Skilled at using a relationship management database (or CRM) to track prospects through the solicitation process, produce dashboards and reports and glean insight from data.
• Experience of delivering prospect research activities to identify and qualify leads for fundraising teams across corporate, trust and major donor income streams.
• Working knowledge of high value income streams and what will support fundraisers in achieving income growth.
• Experience of providing relevant high quality and accurate research profiles with developed research skills and attention to detail
• Proven experience in identifying new high-value funding prospects from the database and other sources including major donors, corporate partners, and trusts.
• Proven ability to be proactive in network mapping securing new prospects or additional opportunities from existing networks e.g. see that a major donor is also a trustee of a grant giving trust or the CEO of a potential corporate partner.

As a Switchback Mentor, you will play a vital role in transforming the lives of young prison-leavers, helping them break free from the justice system and build stable, rewarding futures. You will be responsible for building your own caseload by engaging directly with young men in prison and providing intensive support after their release. In addition to working with those you meet in prison; you will also support Trainees referred to the programme after they have already been released.
Once on the programme, you will maintain regular contact with Trainees, meeting face-to-face at least once a week to help them navigate the challenges of being recently released from prison and work towards their goals. Most importantly, you will do this in a way that reflects Switchback’s core values: putting Trainees at the heart of everything we do, setting high expectations, and building authentic, supportive relationships that enable lasting change.
It is essential that Mentors can confidently and professionally engage with all Trainees who meet the eligibility criteria for the Switchback programme, providing them with the support and guidance needed to move forward positively.

You will work as part of a multidisciplinary NHS team alongside clinicians, social workers, and community partners to support adults with moderate to severe mental illness. Holding a caseload of service users, you will act as their key contact, contributing to care planning, monitoring progress, and supporting safe discharge using the RiO clinical records system. Together with service users, you will develop person-centred recovery plans focused on social goals and community integration, building strong therapeutic relationships through trauma-informed and strength-based approaches. You will help individuals access local resources, attend appointments, and engage in wellbeing activities, peer support, and psychoeducational groups. Collaboration is central to the role, as you will liaise with statutory and voluntary organisations, attend clinical meetings and community events, and advocate for recovery-focused, jargon-free communication. You will ensure accurate documentation, uphold safeguarding and health & safety standards, and actively participate in supervision, training, and professional development.

We are looking for someone with NVQ Level 4 in Care (or equivalent) or at least two years' experience in a mental health setting. You will bring a strong understanding of mental health issues, recovery, and co-production principles, alongside experience of working collaboratively with professionals, services, and communities. Knowledge of care planning, risk assessment, recovery tools, and the Mental Health Act is essential, as are excellent communication, relationship-building, and group facilitation skills. You should be confident using IT systems, resilient and adaptable, able to work independently or as part of a team, and committed to person-centred, trauma-informed practice.

Sounds great, what will I be doing?
The main purpose of the role is to prepare individuals to move on to independent living in the community. Service users may step down from the intensive support service to high, medium or lower needs before moving into the community. From the outset of an individual's tenancy the focus of the support is on preparing them for their journey of recovery and independence over an agreed period.
You will be working Monday to Sunday on a shift rota starting from 08:00 until 23:00 at the latest

You have a strong understanding of recovery principles and varied recovery approaches, with experience supporting individuals with mental health and dual diagnosis needs. You are confident in crisis management and able to communicate with dignity and respect. You hold knowledge of relevant legislation, including CPA processes, and understand safeguarding responsibilities and how to respond appropriately.
You work effectively both independently and as part of a team, with the ability to support and induct new peer staff and volunteers. You can collaborate with statutory services such as the NHS and maintain awareness of health and safety requirements within frontline settings. You are flexible and able to work early, late, weekend, and bank holiday shifts to meet 24-hour service needs.
You also bring strong IT, literacy, and numeracy skills, with the ability to produce clear written communication and use MS Word, Outlook, and online systems confidently.

The Role
This role will develop, support and manage a network of volunteers across England to help build both virtual and local communities for families affected by rare chromosome and gene disorders.
This role will lead on the recruitment, training and ongoing support of volunteers from the Unique membership to ensure they feel confident, connected and valued in their roles. Working closely with the Engagement and Communications Officer, the postholder will also help plan and run a programme of virtual events and online activities tailored to the needs of our members and encouraging supportive peer relationships between them.
The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with experience of volunteer management and community engagement. You’ll enjoy building relationships, empowering others, and creating opportunities for people to connect and support one another.
This is a hybrid role which includes occasional working in our Oxted office to build relationships with our small, friendly team, as well as time spent on the ground with volunteers in different regions. The role will involve regular travel across England, with occasional weekend and evening work (for which time off in lieu will be provided).

Purpose of the Role
The Administrator / Finance Officer plays a key role in the smooth running of One Newham. The postholder will provide reliable financial administration, maintain accurate records, support budgeting and reporting cycles, and ensure effective office and administrative systems are in place, with a strong emphasis on finance.
