As our Individual Giving Officer, you will join an energetic team and play a pivotal role in leading the marketing, delivery, development, and stewardship of NHYC's Individual Giving programme. This includes managing direct marketing acquisition and retention campaigns, developing new propositions, and expanding our reach to new audiences.

We are a fast-moving nonprofit that makes donations to high-impact nature and climate charities simple – and we don’t take any fees. We’ve already mobilised nearly £2 million for top environmental solutions and are working to unlock at least £30 million annually by the end of the decade.

What we are looking for:
Job Title: Philanthropy Lead
We’re looking for a confident, experienced fundraiser to lead major-gift fundraising — securing transformational gifts from high-net-worth individuals. This individual will also assist with building wealth-adviser relationships that generate referral leads. You’ll own the full pipeline: prospecting, cultivation, making direct asks, closing and stewardship.
The ideal candidate will be excited to cultivate networks of wealth managers, private-client teams and other advisers to HNWIs, and to convert adviser introductions into committed support. Importantly, you’ll also prospect independently for major gifts outside those referral streams.
To succeed you’ll master three distinct fundraising pitches: a business case for advisers; an impact case to persuade donors to support our portfolio charities; and a systems-change case to win backing for GRP’s operating costs (salaries, office costs, etc) to keep the charity running fee-free.
You’ll be comfortable making direct asks for funding, with evidence of having closed high-value gifts or multi-year commitments. You’ll be willing to roll up your sleeves and get hands-on with everyday cultivation tasks. You’ll thrive in a small team, taking initiative and juggling priorities. Crucially, you’ll care deeply about climate and nature.
Experience required:
Substantial experience in frontline major gifts fundraising (as a guide, likely 5+ years), or an exceptional track record in adjacent fields (private client advisory, philanthropy advisory, etc).

We’re looking for a Direct Marketing Executive to join the Individual Giving team at Prostate Cancer UK. We’re an ambitious charity with a bold mission and a fantastic culture. This role focuses on acquiring new cash and regular givers across a range of channels including digital, telephone and direct mail, helping fund research that will save and improve lives.
In this role you’ll help drive forward our ambitious five-year fundraising strategy as we continue to grow income year on year to have the biggest impact for men. You will lead on our value exchange programme, working closely with the digital team and our telephone partner to continually optimise results. This is a great opportunity to gain experience across a multi-channel campaign. You will also work on wider telephone conversion campaigns and direct mail as well as other test channels with the aim of recruiting new regular and cash supporters as well as re-engaging those who have lapsed. You’ll also help develop and test welcome journeys to engage supporters with our work and make them feel valued. You’ll look for ways to test and innovate to drive the best results. You’ll collaborate with colleagues from across the organisation to drive the best creative, messaging, targeting and data insights.
What we want from you
Experience or knowledge of managing direct marketing campaigns across a range of channels, ideally digital, telephone or direct mail, and preferably gained from a fundraising environment.
You’ll possess first class communication and project management skills; a strong team ethic and you will be at ease working with key internal and external stakeholders at all levels. You’ll be a self-starter, with a curious nature and a keen eye for detail.Knowledge of data protection and sector compliance would also be beneficial.

About the Role

This is a newly created role, which will help take the charity's fundraising to the next level. The new Senior Development Manager will grow existing income (trusts, foundations and statutory) and develop newer income streams (individual giving and corporate partnerships). Supported by the charity's Artistic Director/CEO and an expert Development Subcommittee, the Senior Development Manager will lead on the development and delivery of the fundraising strategy, securing five- and six-figure gifts and working towards an ambition to raise around £300,000 per year within the first two years. Job Purpose:
This is a key role within a small but global team collaborating with a range of experts and specialists with in-depth knowledge of both the global Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting Movement and the international development sector. Working across a mix of corporate, global trusts/foundations, and institutional funders, your primary focus will be securing new funding partnerships as well as delivering excellent partnership stewardship and management.
The role is responsible for making a recognisable contribution towards organisational income targets with a specific focus on funders from the Asia region who have the potential to support the work that WAGGGS does on a global level.
There will be a strong focus on securing restricted income in support of a portfolio of global non-formal education programmes across key thematic areas including climate, STEM, online safety, leadership, gender-based violence prevention, and menstrual health & hygiene – all with cross-cutting themes of gender equality and advocacy, and all delivered around the world. There may also be time spent on seeking and securing funding to support wider organisational projects as necessary, as well as exploring opportunities to secure unrestricted / flexible core funding.
About You:
As our Strategic Partnerships Manager, Asia you will work across a mix of corporate, global trusts & foundations, and institutional funders from across the Asia region, your focus will be on securing new funding partnerships as well as delivering excellent stewardship and management of existing partnerships. You’ll need to build effective working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders and be comfortable working in a complex and global organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis focusing on the Asia region to identify high value partnership opportunities with corporates, corporate foundations, global trusts & foundations, and institutional donors to build and nurture strategic funder relationships that are aligned to the WAGGGS vision, purpose, and programme offer.
- Build and maintain a robust and qualified pipeline of potential funding partners and opportunities from the Asia region and ensure proactive cultivation through outreach, networking, and targeted communication.
- Work cross-departmentally to develop and write high-quality and compelling funding proposals and partnership opportunities with a strong case for support, ensuring they are deliverable, measurable, accurately costed, and aligned to WAGGGS strategic priorities.
- Deliver effective stewardship and management of new partnerships (and potentially some existing partnerships). From contracting, partnership reporting, growth and renewal. Build and expand strong relationships with partner contacts at multiple levels, drawing on key WAGGGS senior staff to support when appropriate, and use WAGGGS communications platforms effectively to raise the profile of partnerships. You will play a key role in supporting and coordinating colleagues across international teams on the deliverables linked to each partnership, fostering collaboration and shared donor stewardship.

Leeds Survivor Led Crisis Service (LSLCS) exists to provide compassionate, person-centred, trauma-informed crisis support to people across Leeds and West Yorkshire. Founded in 1999 by individuals with lived experience of mental health crisis, the organisation has grown to deliver a range of services for adults, children and young people while remaining rooted in survivor leadership and empowerment. LSLCS has a long history of innovation and excellence; receiving multiple national awards.
The CEO holds overarching responsibility for the current service provisions, with the support of operational directors and service managers. LSLCS challenges and shapes current practices; aligned with the needs of those accessing crisis services, with a strong emphasis on gaining and reviewing service user and team feedback to inform decision-making. The CEO must be able to review feedback openly, regularly and with genuine curiosity in shaping the future of the organisation.
The CEO provides strategic leadership to ensure that LSLCS continues to deliver high-quality, values-led crisis services. Purpose
The Living Wage Foundation has an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team as a Communications Officer. We are looking for an exceptionally motivated and organised individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-profile communications environment.
The role will support the objectives of the Living Wage Foundation and Citizens UK by communicating our work to a wide range of audiences, including senior business leaders and politicians, through a mix of communications methods: social media, newsletters, media outlets, website and internal communications channels. The role will be predominantly focused on work and wages activity through the Living Wage Foundation, but there will be opportunities to support cross-Citizens UK communications activity including for example: campaigns on housing, refugees and more.
This post will be joining a Communications team that spans media, digital communications, research and events, with colleagues based across the UK with monthly in-person team meetings.
The post holder will support the delivery of our media and press office activity, including monitoring media coverage, supporting with journalist enquiries, and helping to develop proactive press campaigns to build awareness of the Living Wage Foundation’s work.
