Merseyside Youth Association is seeking an energetic and visionary Outdoor Education Centre Manager to lead our lakeside Outdoor Education Centre (based on the Lord Derby Estate in Knowsley) into its next exciting chapter.
You’ll be the driving force behind the Centre’s direction, designing imaginative outdoor programmes for children and young people including those who may never have experienced the outdoors before.
Alongside the outdoor delivery, you’ll bring strong commercial flair: developing and delivering a robust income generation strategy, managing budgets, securing grants, expanding school and corporate bookings, and positioning MYA as the provider of choice for outdoor education locally and beyond.
You’ll build meaningful partnerships, drive targeted marketing, track both impact and financial KPIs, and ensure our programmes not only change lives but also sustain the long-term future of the Centre.

Job summary
We are seeking a highly organised graduate to support the Brand Campaigns & Events Specialist. This role involves assisting with the development and implementation of content, supporting the setup, delivery, and evaluation of events, contributing to the creation of training and curriculum materials for online and print, and working with UK and international teams to contextualise and translate materials for diverse audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Communication & Content Delivery
- Assist in the creation of event materials, including invitations, training guides, digital resources, workbooks, email campaigns, websites, scripts, animations, and related content.
- Support the development of visual and multimedia content for in-person and online delivery, ensuring materials are appropriate for the intended audience.
- Assist in repurposing content into multiple formats to support wider reach and usability.
- Support the preparation and distribution of monthly email and prayer updates communicating ministry developments.
- Assist with proofreading, formatting, and editing event content, including workbooks, guides, and presentations.
- Support the development and maintenance of an online training portal for specific programmes, ensuring it is user-friendly, engaging, and aligned with programme goals.
- Provide administrative and practical support to event personnel in global locations as they deliver our programmes.
- Follow established brand guidelines to maintain consistency in tone, messaging, and visual identity across all content.
Event Planning, Management and Support
- Assist with organising event plans and timelines for global events and updating the event content calendar.
- Assisting with projects supporting programs and charity operations.
- Assist in planning, coordinating and delivering event logistics, including liaising with vendors, venues, and service providers to support quality and cost-effective delivery.
- Provide on-site support during events, including set-up, content delivery and liaising with AV and logistics teams to ensure the successful presentation of materials.
- Assist with the management of delegate booking systems and deliver prompt and professional support to attendees and stakeholders via phone and email. Provide delegate care during events.
- Support campaign and project planning by assisting with the drafting or tracking of content-related budgets and timelines for approval.
- Support the planning and delivery of special elements such as consultancy clinics.
- Maintain and regularly update relevant databases to ensure data integrity.
- Assist in monitoring and tracking content production costs, ensuring value-for-money.
Cultural Adaptation & Coordination
- Assist with the localisation of content to ensure materials are culturally appropriate, supporting communication with translators and stakeholders to help adapt resources for different cultural contexts.
Evaluation & Reporting
- Assist in tracking the performance of content and programmes through data collection, feedback, and engagement analytics to support evaluation of effectiveness.
- Support the preparation of content and campaign reports, including metrics and evidence required for grant applications, donor updates, and internal reviews.
General & Organisational
- Actively contribute to team meetings, planning sessions, and creative brainstorming.
- Occasional evening and weekend work and travel may be required for event support.
- Any other duties as required.
Occupational Requirement
The candidate must have an active Christian faith.

Experience (Essential):
- Have experience in a church/charity or professional environment.

- Audit payroll data and work with HR colleagues to resolve gaps.

You will have:
You will already have experience working in a payroll environment, giving first-level payroll advice and managing payroll processes.

Job Title: Support Mentor
Location: This role is based in Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC), the service is a short walk from Ladbroke Grove (Circle and Hammersmith) station. Unfortunately, this service does not have step free access.
Salary: £27,000
Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Sunday on a rota which can range between 09:00 - 17:00 or 13:00 - 21:00. You may be required to work outside these hours dependent on service and resident requirements including weekends and bank holidays.
About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Mentor to join our team based in RBKC to support our residents who have multiple and complex needs which could include mental health, substance use, homelessness, and/or offending backgrounds. You will support in providing our residents with the support needed to help them overcome their personal barriers, and achieve their goals in a person centred approach. You will work within a residential setting, creating a safe and comfortable space which our residents can call their homes during their time within the service.
Some Key Responsibilities Include:
- Create tailored support plans through one to one sessions, group sessions, and multi agency meetings
- Holding a caseload, conducting key work sessions which are personable to their needs
- Monitor residents’ wellbeing, carrying out regular welfare checks, and responding to any incidents or emergencies

The Hub Manager is responsible for the day-to-day leadership of a FSSW hub, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations that maximise the volume of surplus food received, stored, and distributed to our Community Food Members (CFMs). This includes managing a mixed team of staff, FareChance employability participants and volunteers in their operational tasks, maintaining high operational and health & safety standards, and collaborating with colleagues across food & logistics, compliance, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operational Management
- Oversee and manage the safe and efficient daily operation of the hub, ensuring essential tasks are completed to a high standard.

We are seeking a confident and organised Senior Research Officer to join our small but ambitious Research Team. This is a hands-on role with real scope to contribute to how we fund and manage research, and to make a genuine difference to a programme that's helping to save lives.
The Senior Research Officer will lead the delivery of our grant funding processes from end to end - managing application rounds, overseeing the active portfolio, coordinating our scientific committees, supporting our research events and leading our approach to patient and public involvement in research. Working in a small, specialist team means you'll also have real scope to contribute ideas, help improve how we do things, and play a meaningful part in the development of the research programme beyond the day-to-day.

About the role

About You and The Role
We’re looking for an exceptional systems leader to drive our work across Scotland and ensure people affected by stroke have the support they need to rebuild their lives. You’ll shape and deliver our vision for Scotland, focusing on what matters most to stroke survivors and ensuring our work has real, measurable impact.
In this influential role, you’ll build strong relationships across health and social care, Scottish Parliament and Government, and the wider stroke community. You'll bring deep understanding of the Scottish context and ensure our work is grounded in the lived experience of stroke survivors and their families.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Lead the Stroke Association’s strategic direction and impact in Scotland, ensuring people affected by stroke receive high quality support.
- Build and manage relationships with key health, social care and political stakeholders, acting as a credible and respected systems leader.
- Adapt organisational priorities for Scotland and ensure effective delivery through strong planning and performance oversight.
- Lead and develop the Scotland team, addressing capacity needs and building volunteer capability to meet local priorities.
- Strengthen partnerships across the stroke community to improve access to support and tackle health inequalities.
- Lead engagement in local policy and pathway development, influencing improvements at health board level.
You will have:
- Significant senior-level experience in advocacy and influencing, including shaping policy change in values-driven, social-impact contexts within Scotland’s health and social care sector.
- Substantial experience developing and managing senior-level relationships across partner organisations, using strong negotiation skills and sound political judgement.
- Experience leading complex organisational change and transformation, ensuring people-centred and sustainable outcomes.
- Strong understanding of the Scottish health and social care landscape, including Parliament, Government, influencing systems, and awareness of UK-wide legislative procedures.
- Ability to balance local, national and UK-wide organisational priorities.
To fulfil the role, you must live in Scotland and have the right to work in the UK. This role requires travel and overnight stays across the UK. Candidates must be able to demonstrate how they can meet this requirement of the role.
