The role is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the Volunteer Support function including overseeing the day-to-day administration of key volunteer processes. The postholder will also line manage the Volunteer Support Officers who act as the first point of contact to volunteers in assisting with these processes and wider administration.
About the role
The purpose of the Volunteer Support & Systems Manager is to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Volunteer Support function by ensuring that automated workflows are well maintained and continuously improved. This includes the onboarding process for new volunteers, management of mandatory training requirements of existing volunteers and volunteer record management through processing promotions transfers and leavers. The role also provides effective line management to a team of Volunteer Support Officers, supporting them to deliver a high quality of administrative support to volunteers to assist them with these processes.
Responsibilities
- To oversee the efficient operation, maintenance and continuous improvement of all Volunteer Support automated workflows
- To develop clear and effective guidance, to help volunteers access and use the various Volunteer Support digital systems
- To line manage and support the Volunteer Support Team based at the MSSC Support Centre, empowering the team to deliver effective and consistent support to volunteers
- To functionally manage and support the Area Volunteer Support Team based across the 6 Area Offices, empowering them to deliver effective and consistent support to volunteers
- To manage the “Safer Recruitment” and adverse disclosure process for volunteers, in line with MSSC policy, ensuring that criminal records checks are dealt with in a timely and appropriate manner
- To work with the Head of Volunteering to review MSSC volunteering policies, monitoring their appropriateness and effectiveness, making recommendations for changes as necessary
- To support the Head of Volunteering with the successful implementation of MSSC’s volunteer strategy and other national tasks
- To work with Volunteer Support Officers to develop systems and processes for managing the Volunteer Support workload and monitoring delivery standards
- To work closely with other stakeholders, maintaining excellent working relationships across departments to ensure consistency and best practice for our volunteers.
Requirements
- Experience of leading the development and maintenance of digital volunteer management/ communication systems
- Experience of creating and maintaining complex automated workflows
- Experience of overseeing the administrative functions of a CRM system
- Experience of implementing, managing reviewing and refining administrative processes
- Experience of delivering a first-class service to clients or customers
- Experience developing processes which are targeted at both internal and external audiences

Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) works for the health and dignity of Palestinians living under occupation and as refugees. For more than 40 years, we have been delivering essential health and medical care to those most affected by conflict, displacement and occupation in the occupied Palestinian territory (oPt) and Lebanon.

About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for somebody passionate about MAP’s work with a keen eye for detail, looking to enhance their data processing skills, to play a key role in maintaining MAP’s Dynamics 365 CRM system through a period of significant development. With Dynamics 365 introduced in 2024, the Supporter Database Officer will support the Charity with vital data imports. The postholder will work with a wide variety of data types with varied requirements including, but not limited to individuals, corporates, trusts, foundations, volunteers, campaigners, institutional donors, community groups, and challenge event participants. To enable this, they will work closely with the Supporter Care Team, Finance Team, wider Fundraising team and other internal stakeholders at MAP.
The management of financial data will feature prominently in the day-to-day responsibilities of the potholder. Collaborating with MAP’s Finance team, third party payment providers and external suppliers, the postholder will support the secure and efficient processing of payments data. The postholder is responsible for supporting complex data imports, applying accurate coding, and supporting financial reconciliation to monthly deadlines.
The Supporter Database Officer will work closely alongside the Senior Supporter Database Officer and Supporter Database Manager. In addition, they will support the work of the Performance & Insights team within the Fundraising team and the technical CRM lead in the Technology team.
Key Responsibilities
The Supporter Database Officer is responsible for supporting the effective operation of MAP’s Dynamics 365 CRM system, with a particular focus on data imports, income processing and data quality. The role involves carrying out regular and complex data imports from payment providers, response handling agencies and internal teams, ensuring secure data handling and adherence to established processes. The postholder supports ongoing improvements to import procedures and contributes to maintaining clear documentation.
A significant part of the role involves supporting accurate and timely income processing. Working closely with the Finance team, the postholder applies correct coding to income, assists with daily and monthly reconciliation processes, investigates discrepancies across systems and helps maintain appropriate audit trails and financial controls.
The role also supports CRM development and system enhancements by working with colleagues across Fundraising to understand requirements and assisting with testing new functionality or third-party integrations. The postholder ensures compliance with MAP’s data protection policies, maintains accurate consent and suppression records, and escalates any data quality or compliance concerns as needed.
In addition, the Supporter Database Officer responds to data queries from internal stakeholders, supports reporting and data selection requests, contributes to user documentation and training, and deputises for the Senior Supporter Database Officer when required.
About You
You will have experience working with CRM systems or large datasets and an understanding of data import processes. You will possess strong Excel skills and be willing to develop your technical knowledge further, including SQL. Experience supporting income processing and financial reconciliation is desirable, alongside an understanding of CRM system design principles.
You will demonstrate excellent attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to investigate and resolve data discrepancies. You will be organised, adaptable and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, with strong communication and teamwork skills.
An awareness of GDPR, fundraising regulations and financial controls is essential. Experience within a charity CRM environment, supporting fundraising communications or working with supporter data, as well as familiarity with SQL or data visualisation tools such as Power BI, would be advantageous.

Purpose of the Job
Oversee the planning and delivery of a portfolio of trusts and foundations funders, that maximise income potential and provide relationship management for a number of key accounts, providing impact reports and associated benefits
Devising, implementing and attending a variety of national Stewardship events as and when required and leading and supporting depot visits for potential and existing funders. Develop a range of engaging, innovative and persuasive proposals that capture the ambition and vision of the charity.

Purpose of Role
At Comic Relief, we harness the power of entertainment and pop culture to create a just world free from poverty. And, as our Fundraising Marketing Manager, you’ll contribute to this by developing brilliant marketing strategies and fundraising toolkits for multiple fundraising campaigns.

This role will influence senior stakeholders across SJP, be central to building meaningful relationships with our donors, and help embed a strong culture of giving throughout the community.
What you’ll be doing:
Individual Giving Strategy & Income Growth
· Lead the development and delivery of a long-term Individual Giving strategy, covering regular giving, donations, legacies and celebration giving.
· Drive donor acquisition, retention, upgrade and reactivation activity.
· Develop and implement robust, donor-centric stewardship pathways to maximise engagement and lifetime value.
· Deliver targeted, multi-channel internal fundraising campaigns across SJP digital platforms.
· Use data-led insights, audience segmentation and testing to optimise performance and ensure continued innovation.
· Monitor and evaluate IG performance, reporting insights and recommendations to the Head of Foundation and Board of Trustees.
· Manage the IG budget to deliver strong ROI and achieve agreed income targets.
· Identify funding gaps and implement corrective actions where required.
Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
· Build and support major donor relationship development alongside the Head of Foundation.
· Work closely with the Fundraising Manager (Events & Committees) and Foundation Co-ordinator to motivate and grow Regional Foundation Committees.
· Represent the Foundation at corporate, challenge and Foundation events (including occasional out-of-hours attendance).
· Collaborate with colleagues to develop compelling impact stories that inspire giving.
· Influence and engage stakeholders across SJP, often at senior level.
Governance, Risk & Compliance
· Ensure all fundraising activity complies with GDPR, charity law and fundraising best practice.
· Adhere to the Chartered Institute of Fundraising Code.
· Monitor risks associated with IG activities and maintain appropriate controls and risk register updates.
· Contribute to business continuity planning within your area of responsibility

We are looking for an experienced and strategically minded fundraising professional who combines strong commercial awareness with a passion for charitable impact. You will be confident influencing stakeholders across SJP, highly data literate, and motivated by delivering sustainable income growth.
The ideal candidate will bring energy, creativity and a collaborative approach, alongside the ability to translate complex data into clear insight and action. You will understand the unique role of the Foundation within SJP and be committed to delivering an exceptional supporter experience.
Essential Criteria:
· Extensive experience developing and delivering strategic Individual Giving programmes within a medium to large charity.
· Proven track record of achieving income growth through donor acquisition, retention and stewardship strategies.
· Strong analytical capability, with experience using CRM systems (e.g. Raisers Edge or similar) to segment, analyse and report on fundraising performance.
· Sound knowledge of charity regulation, fundraising compliance and relevant legislation (including GDPR).
· Demonstrable ability to influence and collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Desirable Criteria:
· Experience working within a corporate foundation or corporate-charity environment.
· Experience managing and evaluating fundraising budgets to optimise ROI.
· Experience presenting performance insights to Boards or senior governance groups.
· Knowledge of charity law applicable to corporate foundations.
