The role
We are excited to be recruiting a new Trusts and Grants Officer and are seeking to appoint an experienced and proactive individual to manage our small to mid-trusts and grants portfolio applying for grants of c. £5,000 to £15,000. Additionally, they will help achieve the trusts and grants strategy alongside the Trusts and Grants Manager.
This is an important role in our High Value Fundraising Team, reporting to the Trusts and Grants Manager. The postholder will develop strong funder relationships, create high-quality applications and reports, practice strong stewardship, and practice thorough prospect research to grow their pipeline and maximise long-term support.

Working with one of our trusted partner day centres on an initial 12 month contract, The post holder will be responsible for the following:
· Providing a specialist advice and advocacy service to the homeless guests of our services, which include partner day centres and night shelters over the winter season

The Head of Public Fundraising is a new role at Coeliac UK leading the charity’s public fundraising function. The role focusses on driving sustainable growth across individual giving, community fundraising, events, lottery, raffle, digital fundraising and merchandise. This role is responsible for delivering Coeliac UK’s 5-year fundraising strategy to maximise return-on-investment, grow long term supporter value, and contribute to the charity’s mission.

Who are we looking for?
Key to the success of this role is a strong understanding of individual giving fundraising. This role blends the strategic oversight and leadership of a Head of role across multiple income streams, with the hands-on expertise of an IG fundraiser. Experience across other income streams and areas of fundraising delivery would be a huge benefit as the role leads community fundraising and events, will take on digital fundraising - currently led by the Chief Engagement Officer, as well as manage the data and supporter care functions, but experience in individual giving is essential as Coeliac UK has defined that as an area of priority income. The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) is seeking an organised, analytical and collaborative Audit Project Coordinator to support the delivery of Epilepsy12, our national clinical audit focused on improving care for children and young people with epilepsy and their families.
Reporting to the Epilepsy12 Project Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day coordination of this important national audit. You’ll help people navigate challenges around housing, healthcare, benefits, employment and community connections, working closely with prison, probation, health, social care and other partner agencies. You’ll have experience of providing one-to-one support or advocacy to people with complex needs and be comfortable working with trauma, risk and the challenges that can accompany release from custody. We're looking for a compassionate, proactive and organised Refugee Resettlement Support Worker to join our Resettlement Team and support individuals and families arriving through Government resettlement schemes. The role is predominantly focused on families resettled from Afghanistan, although support may be provided to people arriving through other schemes as well.

You'll work directly alongside refugee families as they settle into life in Bournemouth, Christchurch, Poole and wider Dorset, helping them navigate unfamiliar systems, access services and become active members of their new communities.

Role: Dads’/Partners’ Peer Support Worker
Location: Birmingham wide / Hybrid working
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (with some occasional evening and weekend work)
Salary: £25,363 – £26,419 per annum, subject to experience
Contract: Fixed-term for 12 months
Benefits: Flexible working, 36 days leave (including bank/public holidays), 5% matched pension contribution, ongoing support and supervision sessions

Please note: To allow Acacia to provide specialist, relatable peer support, there is a Genuine Occupational Requirement (GOR) for this role to be filled by a male, who is a dad or partner and has relevant lived experience of perinatal mental health and/or other mental health difficulties.
What will the role involve?
The Dads’/Partners’ Peer Support Worker will play an important role in helping us reach and support more fathers and partners across Birmingham. The role will be community-based and will involve regular travel across the city, working closely with Family Hubs, community organisations and other local partners.
A key part of the role will be establishing and facilitating dads’ stay-and-play groups across Birmingham’s Family Hub areas. These groups will provide opportunities for dads to spend quality time with their children, meet other fathers, build supportive relationships and access support in a welcoming and informal environment.
The postholder will also provide one-to-one peer support, drawing appropriately on their own lived experience to build trust, offer encouragement and help fathers and partners feel less alone. They will support individuals to access relevant mental health, wellbeing, family and community services where needed.
The role will also help to raise awareness of fathers’ and partners’ perinatal mental health through community events, online resources and social media. Working alongside Family Hubs and other local services, the postholder will help dads and partners develop coping strategies, strengthen their support networks and feel more confident about moving forward.
Travel expenses incurred as part of the role will be reimbursed in line with Acacia’s Expenses Policy.Due to the post requiring regular travel across Birmingham, the applicant should ideally have access to a car for work purposes.

The generosity of individual supporters, churches and community groups enables Boaz Trust to provide accommodation and support for people seeking sanctuary, and to challenge and change the unjust systems that cause destitution, both locally and nationally. We are looking for a Fundraising Officer who will help us give supporters an excellent experience, maintain accurate fundraising records and develop opportunities for people and communities to get involved in our work. This is an exciting role which will give the right person the opportunity to work across a variety of fundraising activities and disciplines.
The relationships built and fundraising activity enabled through this role will support Boaz’s work with people who are facing or experiencing homelessness because of their insecure, changing or uncertain immigration status. Our work includes providing safe accommodation and person-centred support, while working towards our mission of ending destitution among people seeking sanctuary.
Day to day, you will provide excellent care for supporters as you process and acknowledge donations, respond to supporter enquiries and ensure that our fundraising database is functioning well and information is recorded accurately in it. You will build positive relationships with supporters, churches and community groups, arrange and deliver speaking engagements, promote sponsored events and help people find meaningful ways to raise funds for Boaz. You will work also closely with colleagues to deliver fundraising projects across the breadth of Boaz’s fundraising activity as and when these arise.
We are looking for someone who is warm, organised and attentive to detail, and who enjoys building relationships with a wide range of people. You will be confident communicating by email, telephone and in person, comfortable working with databases and financial information, and able to manage a varied workload. Most importantly, you will be thoughtful and collaborative, and aligned with Boaz’s values and our commitment to the dignity and rights of people seeking sanctuary.
