About the Role
Oxford Brookes Students’ Union is excited to be recruiting a Head of Academic Representation, a senior leader who will drive forward education, policy and influence work.
Operating at senior manager level and as a member of the Union’s Senior Leadership Team, this role will lead the student representation system, oversee academic policy and influence activity, and support elected officers to deliver high-impact, evidence-led campaigns.
The role will work closely with academic and professional services colleagues across the University, developing trusted partnerships at faculty and school level, embedding student voice into academic processes, and positioning the Union as an expert in student experience and academic representation.
The ideal candidate will be both strategic and delivery-focused, confident in leading teams, influencing senior stakeholders and using insight and data to drive change.
The successful candidate will not necessarily come from the Higher Education sector but will be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of the trends, challenges and opportunities that shape student life and the Students’ Union sector. They will bring a sound understanding of charity governance and democratic decision-making, alongside the strategic and operational capability required to lead student representation, policy development and institutional influence within a democratic, student-led organisation.

Passionate about nature? We are looking for a Training & Development Officer to deliver sessions to educators across southwest England.
We are looking for a Training and Development Officer to cover the South West of England, 29.6hr/week, term-time only. You will be working directly with teachers and other education staff supporting their journeys in taking curriculum learning and play outside and to utilise their school grounds. You will deliver Learning through Landscape’s training and projects within diverse communities across a significant geographical area.
You’ll need to have a passion for nature, have experience in training and advising educational staff in primary or secondary schools, been involved in delivering outdoor nature-based and curriculum linked learning activities and have good IT skills.
Ideally, you’ll be based in the Exeter/Barnstable/Yeovil area as it is essential that you are able and willing to travel in the Southwest. There could be travel throughout the UK, including overnight stays.

Overall Purpose
To provide maintenance support to the organisation, ensuring premises are maintained at a standard that will serve the mission of Baca. This will include properties across Loughborough and 2 office sites.
Duties Responsibilities
- Organise and conduct required maintenance at all Baca sites. The below list is not exhaustive but some of the below skills will be required to fulfil the role; General Plumbing; bathroom and kitchen plumbing repairs, blocked toilets & sinks etc, Painting and Decorating, basic carpentry skills, Meter Reading for electricity and gas meters, Fire Testing; routine testing of smoke and CO alarms.
- To become familiar and actively use the Baca’s maintenance management system which aids the reactive and planned works across all sites.
- Communicating with contractors, residential workers and landlords as required, ensuring repairs and maintenance is conducted when planned.
- Administering quarterly checks, quarterly cleans, health and safety requirements and annual servicing such as: PAT testing and Gas safety on properties and reporting issues for follow up.
- Working alongside the Premises Manager, administer the Health & Safety checks on all Baca properties including the offices, to ensure regulatory requirements are met and associated paperwork is completed.
- Support in the setting-up and closing down of properties and rooms between moves.
- Administering the setup and set-down of rooms for young people moves between Baca properties, ensuring the rooms are ready for new young people.
- Ensuring the office and car parks are clean and tidy, ensuring visitor experience is positive, professional, welcoming, friendly and helpful.
- Assist the Premises Manager and Finance Manager with year-end Fixed Assets verification.
- Supporting with other administrative activities in line with the team needs.
General:
- Play an active and supportive role within the organisation.
- Take ownership of files allocated, ensuring they are up to date and stored correctly.

Personal Specification
Baca is looking for someone who can help the organisation with the housing maintenance and day to day function of all properties it houses young people in and our offices. The successful applicant will be motivated and passionate about the work that Baca does and the young people in our care. They will be very organised and practical, able to get on with tasks that need doing on a day-to-day basis, managing a varied and busy workload. They will be very approachable and enjoy working on their own as well as part of a team and supporting others. The successful applicant will need access to transport as the role requires travel between the properties that Baca manages including the transportation of items to the properties.

Qualifications/Knowledge/Experience
- Good knowledge/understanding of the building and maintenance process.
- A good awareness of general health and safety, especially regarding maintenance work.

- Advocate of customer care including experience of dealing with a range of client queries/concerns in a professional and understanding manner.

Job Summary
As The Operations Transformation Programme Director, you’ll build and lead a new directorate driving major change across Estates, Fleet, Logistics and Supply Chain to ensure St John’s operational services are efficient, future‑ready and deliver outstanding support. Reporting to the COO, you’ll oversee Estates & Facilities, Fleet, Logistics, Clinical Equipment, Health & Safety and Business Continuity, managing a c.£22m budget. You’ll ensure that we implement our new Estates strategy, lead capital investment, transform contract management, and deliver a best‑in‑class logistics and supply chain model. About You
You will bring senior leadership experience from a large, complex organisation, with strong expertise in either estates and FM, or supply chain, logistics, medical devices and contract management. Degree‑educated with relevant professional development, you will demonstrate inspirational leadership, excellent communication, analytical thinking, confident board‑level reporting, and proven budgetary management.

Job Purpose:
The Major Donor Coordinator is an integral part of the Philanthropy team, responsible for managing a large portfolio of individual major donor supporters. The Major Donor Coordinator provides excellent relationship management, creating first-class donor journeys for their portfolio based on donors’ individual motivations and interests. They will ensure stewardship plans are in place for their top tier of major donors, and that they meet any specific proposal/reporting requirements for the donors they manage.
The primary aspect of the role is the management of a portfolio of major donors, ensuring their continued support of MSF, with a focus on delivering stable and increased income for MSF’s work.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Experience in relationship management, marketing or sales (preference for fundraising experience)
- Excellent and engaging written communication skills and ability to adapt style to suit a wide range of supporters
- Ability to collate and adapt MSF operational and programmatic information into donor friendly language, relevant for donor proposals and reports
- Confident interpersonal and verbal communication skills, including diplomacy and negotiating skills

The Senior Volunteer Coordinators play a vital role in ensuring an outstanding volunteer experience for these student leaders, as this creates the foundation for meaningful engagement with fellow students and the wider community.
As a Senior Volunteer Coordinator, you will lead on the volunteer experience across four key areas of student-led activity:
•Access All Areas – a volunteering programme that makes university education more accessible for over 500 young people each year.
•Student Action Volunteering – a community-based volunteering programme with around 18 projects tackling issues including homelessness and environmental sustainability.
•Student Fundraising – supporting students to raise money for local, national and international causes, with over £200,000 raised in 2023-24.
•Student Arts & Media – three award-winning media outlets plus a range of arts and performance-based student groups.
You’ll continue to advance the Union’s approach to volunteer management by recruiting, training and providing ongoing support for hundreds of student leaders, as well as coaching a team of full and part time staff to develop their own volunteer management skills. Recognising the impact of financial and time pressures on students, you will develop student leadership programmes that inspire them to build communities and develop skills to progress in their future careers alongside completing their studies. Working in partnership with external organisations, you’ll ensure that our student groups run activities that are beneficial to the wider community whilst providing an excellent experience for participating students.
As a Senior Volunteer Coordinator, you’ll ensure that students are at the heart of all your decision-making, continually improving our student leadership programmes according to our impact data so that students become empowered community leaders and active citizens.
There are two Senior Volunteer Coordinators based in the team, alongside colleagues similarly focused on at-scale student engagement across a range of programmes. The team aims to create opportunities for students to build and participate in communities that are inclusive, sustainable, ambitious, and impactful, and the Senior Volunteer Coordinators will play a key role in achieving this vision for our student leadership programmes.

About the Role
As Digital Marketing Assistant, you will support the Digital Marketing and wider Digital teams in their day-to-day delivery of the digital marketing strategy across owned, paid and earned channels. You will work closely with the Social Media, Content and Fundraising Coordinators on content generation for digital marketing channels, focusing on appealing to target audiences and current supporters in a positive and engaging way.
Your main duties include:

- Writing and editing social media copy for all departments.

- Monitoring incoming social media activity including comments and direct messages.

About You
You will have experience of creating engaging content for social media channels, social media community management and reporting with:
- An excellent standard of written English and communication skills, including copywriting for different audiences.

- Adept at using photo and video editing software, ideally the Adobe suite.

Role Summary
As a University Partnership Manager at upReach, you will play a vital role in securing and growing high-impact partnerships with universities committed to social mobility.
Reporting to the Head of Partnerships within the Income Generation and External Engagement team, you will be responsible for developing new strategic relationships, championing our partners' voices across upReach, and working closely with our Programmes Team to oversee a portfolio of university partners.
