PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
• To offer front line education advisory support service to kinship, adoptive and foster families and professionals seeking support and advice about education services for care experienced children.
• To lead the development and delivery of education training to professionals across Scotland and actively support AUK lobbying and campaigning efforts on education matters.
• To develop, coordinate and support delivery and administration of an education support group (online or in person) to the care experience community youth and family.
• To work alongside our youth service provision ensuring the voices of young people are centred in resource development and delivery, supporting development of education and employability support.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Work closely with education advisor lead in delivering education support service to families and professionals.
• Manage own caseloads, monitor and review progress at regular education meetings using established tools. Ensure tracking and recording on AUK system database and Sharepoint.
• Develop, promote and deliver Education training for professionals across Scotland. Including supporting the development and delivery of Education elements of training in other AUK teams and development of commissioned projects e.g. care experience week lessons, resources and training for Education Scotland
• Responsible for administrative tasks relating to service delivery
• Respond appropriately to enquiries via email, telephone or in person, referring on to other services and ensure accurate and appropriate recording and tracking of all enquires are maintained using appropriate database systems.
• Contribute and assist in development of education specific projects to improve service delivery (i.e. education peer support group or young person support group)
• Support manager in monitoring and reporting of service delivery
• Contribute and assist in the development, design and planning of promotional resources and information materials and factsheets.
• Attend relevant national meetings, conferences, training events, networking and development opportunities to promote Adoption UK services
• Collaborate, liaise with Adoption UK Scotland and Adoption UK organisation in the delivery and participation of specific events and activities relating to the delivery of Education services for Adoption UK services.

About the role
As Blagrave prepares to launch our new strategy in 2026, this role will help ensure that learning informs our decisions and strengthens our work. The Learning and Insights Manager will support the development and implementation of our emerging impact framework, evaluating evidence, stories and reflections from young people, partners and colleagues to help us understand what is working, what is not, and what this means for our future.
The role is primarily internal (around 70% of your time). You will lead our learning processes, create meaningful spaces for reflection, and develop practical tools that help colleagues learn, adapt and act. About the Role
EDIS is a coalition of organisations working to improve equality, diversity and inclusion within the science and health research sectors. Originally established by The Francis Crick Institute (The Crick), Wellcome Trust (Wellcome) and GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), the British Science Association (BSA) has recently taken over the hosting of the coalition (from February 2026), working in partnership with the Crick, and funded by a seven-year grant from Wellcome.
The new Head of EDIS will provide strategic leadership for the EDIS programme, positioning EDIS as a trusted, influential voice and source of sector support on equity, diversity and inclusion across science and health research.
EDIS is a long-term programme with national reach. The Head of EDIS will be responsible for shaping and implementing the EDIS strategy in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring activities are valued by members and aligned with the coalition’s values and objectives and contributing to the long-term sustainability and evolution of the programme beyond the grant period. The role holder will lead a dedicated team, cultivate a culture of inclusivity, and champion the impact of EDIS across and beyond the coalition, ultimately supporting the advancement of equitable practices and opportunities in science and health.

Reporting to the Fundraising Development Manager, the Legacy Manager is responsible for leading and delivering the long term growth strategy for legacy income at St Giles Hospice.
The post holder will develop and implement a sustainable and scalable legacy programme that increases the number of legacy pledgers, strengthens the future pipeline of legacy gifts and delivers consistent income growth aligned to organisational objectives.
The role will own the legacy value proposition, marketing strategy and support journey from initial engagement through to pledge stewardship. The post holder will champion a culture of legacy giving across the organisation and position leaving a gift in a Will as a meaningful and natural way to support St Giles Hospice.
In partnership with the Fundraising Administration team, the Legacy Manager will ensure legacy gifts are managed professionally and compliantly, with strong forecasting, reporting and internal oversight.

We’re looking for a Direct Marketing Executive to join the Individual Giving team at Prostate Cancer UK. We’re an ambitious charity with a bold mission and a fantastic culture. This role focuses on acquiring new cash and regular givers across a range of channels including digital, telephone and direct mail, helping fund research that will save and improve lives.
In this role you’ll help drive forward our ambitious five-year fundraising strategy as we continue to grow income year on year to have the biggest impact for men. You will lead on our value exchange programme, working closely with the digital team and our telephone partner to continually optimise results. This is a great opportunity to gain experience across a multi-channel campaign. You will also work on wider telephone conversion campaigns and direct mail as well as other test channels with the aim of recruiting new regular and cash supporters as well as re-engaging those who have lapsed. You’ll also help develop and test welcome journeys to engage supporters with our work and make them feel valued. You’ll look for ways to test and innovate to drive the best results.
