About Us:

At York Road Project, we are dedicated to transforming the lives of individuals experiencing homelessness in Woking. We believe in harnessing the unique strengths and potential of each individual to create a pathway towards stability and independence. We are seeking a Fundraising Officer to join our team who can support our Fundraising Manager to secure charitable income essential to the delivery of our services.

The Role:

As our Fundraising Officer, you will work closely with the Fundraising Manager to deliver our fundraising strategy. You will help deliver annual fundraising events; bid to corporate supporters, trusts and foundations; and build strong relationships with community organisations and individual donors. You will be part of a fantastic team, dedicated to making a real difference in defeating homelessness.

We are looking for a passionate and adaptable individual, who can support the Fundraising Manager across all voluntary income streams, from formal bids to fun community events.

This role is especially crucial as our charity’s need for fundraised income has risen significantly in the last three years - as result of the increased cost of living, and reduced support from the local authority. Despite these challenges, York Road Project’s work remains immensely valuable to the local community. Youth Theatre Leader- Hull

• Lead a well-established weekly youth theatre programme for young people aged 11–19 in Hull
• Plan and deliver engaging workshops covering acting, devising, scriptwriting, movement, and performance skills
• Inspire confidence, creativity, and teamwork while supporting young people from diverse backgrounds
• Direct and develop youth theatre performances and contribute to outreach in local schools
• Work collaboratively with the team and visiting practitioners to shape high-quality creative experiences
• Play a key role in a growing charity dedicated to widening access to the performing arts

Duration & hours: Part time freelance contract, 5.5 hours commitment per week, workshops Mondays 3.30pm – 6pm school term time only, from 6th July 2026 to 12th July 2027 (with the possibility of extension)

The National Youth Arts Trust is a small performing arts charity that exists to widen access to the performing arts for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds - through giving bursaries for music, dance, and drama lessons, running youth theatre projects, and taking children to the theatre, often for the first time.

We are looking for an experienced youth theatre leader to join our team and help run our established youth theatre company in Hull each Monday after school at Liberty Academy.

Salary: £12,239.50 (£24,479 FTE)

Location: Home based and work within the communities (Candidates must reside within a reasonable distance of the service area).

Hours: 17.5 hours per week

About the role

As an Advocate, you will:

• Deliver high-quality advocacy for children and young people in line with organisational guidelines, legislation and contract requirements.
• Provide direct advocacy support face-to-face and virtually
• Ensure children and young people understand their rights and options and are supported to agree outcomes/action plans.
• Represent and amplify young people’s views in decision-making about their lives
• Maintain accurate case records and contribute to data/reporting,
• Promote best practice, equality and safeguarding values: challenge discrimination, maintain confidentiality (GDPR), follow health & safety, and contribute to CPD/training and wider organisational learning.
