High Trees Community Development Trust is seeking an ambitious Head of Community Research & Impact to join our senior management team and lead one of our core service areas.
Community-led research sits at the heart of how High Trees works. Our approach aims to rebalance the role and power that communities have in deciding how research is informed, delivered and used to improve lives for Lambeth residents. Over recent years we have built a strong foundation for this work and developed two flagship community research partnerships — the Lambeth Peer Action Collective and the Lambeth Community Research Network. This is a broad and varied leadership role. Alongside our direct research programmes, you will lead the development of infrastructure around community-led research in Lambeth, so that voluntary and community sector (VCS) organisations can access the training, resources and networks they need to design and deliver their own research. You will also lead our Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning and Communications functions, ensuring the impact of everything we do is understood, evidenced and communicated well.

As Head of Community Research & Impact, you will:
- Lead and inspire our Research & Impact team to deliver high-quality, community-led research that drives change.
- Shape and deliver High Trees’ strategic vision for community-led research, championing collaborative research practice across Lambeth.
- Take the lead on designing new research programmes, support with sourcing the funding to run them, and ensuring projects are completed to a high standard with high-quality outputs.
- Grow the infrastructure for community-led research locally, including through the Lambeth Community Research Network and the Lambeth Peer Action Collective.
- Support VCS organisations with community research training, resources and capacity building support.
- Lead and embed Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) and Communications across High Trees and our partnership work.
- Contribute as a member of High Trees’ senior management team, ensuring a joined-up approach across all our services.

Key Responsibilities
Community Fundraising
- Build relationships with local schools, clubs and organisations to generate event participation and donations.
- Develop with the Director and Fundraising Manager a case for support and accompanying materials to pitch to potential community or local businesses.
- Organise events with community or business partners and support OKMT’s own fundraising events including our triennial Music Marathon, walks and seasonal appeals.
- Recruit, brief and steward individual fundraisers taking on challenges (runs, rides, marathons, swims, etc.) and community supporters running their own events on OKMT's behalf.
- Assist the Fundraising Manager in growing individual giving initiatives as necessary.
- Support the OKMT team to pitch for Richmond May Ball and other major appeals and lead the process if selected.
- Manage supporter journeys including thank-you communications and impact updates in conjunction with the team.
Local Business Fundraising
- Identify and approach local businesses across Richmond, Twickenham, Teddington, Hampton, Barnes and surrounding areas with tailored propositions for Charity of the Year, sponsorship endorsement and ongoing support.
- Account-manage business supporters through relationship building, regular updates, site visits, networking events and clear reporting on impact.
- Represent OKMT at local business networking events, Chamber of Commerce gatherings and Richmond Business Awards activity to raise the charity's profile.
- Explore opportunities for volunteering and develop a value exchange.
Shared / Cross-Cutting Responsibilities
- Quarterly income and activity targets will be agreed with the Director within the first four weeks, reviewed formally at 3, 6, 9 and 12 months, with results reported to the Board.
- Maintain accurate records of supporters, prospects and income, and ensure compliance with GDPR and Fundraising Regulator standards.
- Collaborate with the team to capture stories, case studies and consented imagery that bring our impact to life for donors.
- Contribute to OKMT’s social media, e-newsletter and website content where it supports fundraising.

What you’ll be doing
You will work with clients (managing a caseload) who have mental health support needs, to assist them in securing sustainable paid employment in line with their preferences. You will deliver the IPSapproach (for which training will be given); providing person centred support and guidance to clients, whilst building positive relationships with local employers to enable clients to move into suitable employment.
You will work as part of a mental health team (NHS Trust) maintaining positive and integrated relationships, fostering a holistic approach to recovery through employment. You will work closely with clinical teams, providing a coordinated approach thatalways remainsclient led.
You will be based at one of the following NHS mental health treatment teams:
- Enfield's Early Intervention in Psychosis (EIP) service, Lucas House Edmonton
- Community Rehabilitation Team Enfield, Park Avenue, Enfield Town
You will spend up to 65% of your week working in the community of Enfield to provide localised support to residents of the Borough.
You will also be working to contract targets whilst maintaining a high-quality service.

We’re looking for an experienced and compassionate Senior Support Worker to join our Stopover Supported Housing service in Brighton & Hove.
Stopover provides women-only supported accommodation for young women aged 16–25, including young women who have recently become mothers. Our services provide different levels of support as young women move towards independence, helping them develop the skills, confidence and stability they need to sustain their own tenancy.
Working alongside the Head of Supported Housing, you’ll help oversee the day-to-day running of the project while providing trauma-informed support to young women who may have experienced homelessness, abuse, domestic violence, mental health difficulties and other challenges.
This is a varied senior role combining direct work with young women, staff supervision and partnership working. You’ll build trusted professional relationships, advocate for young women and help ensure our service provides safe, consistent and high-quality support.
You will:
- Build positive professional relationships with young women, developing individual support plans and helping them gain the skills and confidence to live independently
- Help oversee the day-to-day running of the service, including managing resident issues, risk and compliance with licence agreements
- Provide line management, supervision and development support to members of the staff team
- Advocate for young women and work collaboratively with external agencies and other professionals

We’re looking for someone who can demonstrate:

Role Context
Recovery in Community is a collaborative initiative delivered in partnership between Gaddum and Manchester Mind. The service supports people to leave inpatient mental health settings and return to their community with the support they need to recover and remain well.
As a team, we deliver psycho-social interventions, advocacy, housing and welfare rights advice, peer support to adults as well as tailored support to young people (those under the age of 25).All we do is underpinned by listening and ensuring people feel heard – because we know that when people are listened to, they recover. The team works with colleagues within the mental health, primary care, inpatient and community sectors.
Role Purpose
As a Peer Support Worker, you will have lived or living experience of receiving mental health care or treatment in hospital. Using your expertise gained through this experience, you will support peers in their mental health recovery who are ready to leave hospital or are already in the community. Receiving support from your colleagues, you’ll develop and manage your casework practice and hold a small case load.
You will walk alongside people to set achievable goals to ensure they get the support that they need, ultimately feeling connected to their communities – the right services and support network.
This role will work with a small but intensive caseload (max 12 cases for a full-time peer support worker) to focus on:
- Repatriate: when people are sent to an out of area placement (OAPs) advocate to get them back to Greater Manchester so they can recover in their community.
- Discharge: Supporting people when they’re ready to be discharged from inpatient mental health services to get back to the community and recover.
- Prevent re-admissions: Work with people, post-discharge, to ensure they continue to get the support they need to make informed choices, stay well and ultimately thrive.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- To provide bespoke support to people that are ready to be discharged from inpatient psychiatric care to return to the community, building (with support) packages of care so they have a positive and sustained recovery.
- To work alongside people post-discharge, in their community setting (e.g. home or supported accommodation) to ensure they get what they need to stay well.
- To effectively manage a small caseload (about 7 people), being flexible to people’s needs and short-term changes in schedule.
- To work in a person-centred, trauma informed, empowering and culturally appropriate way that enables people to feel listened to and heard.
- To help people engage with services and make sustainable links with their communities.
- To use and develop your knowledge of community care, policies, legislation and services to get people the support they need to recover and stay well.
- Identify when cases need escalation or onward referral and keep your line manager aware of case developments.
- Independently visit people in inpatient and community settings in Manchester and across Greater Manchester, adhering to lone working and risk management procedures.
- Occasionally visit people out of the Greater Manchester area who need to return to their community in Manchester (all travel expenses will be paid and non-commute travel time will be part of your working day).
- Build relationships with colleagues within services (e.g. inpatient staff, social care, CMHTs etc) to enable improved collaborative working
- Take part in multi-disciplinary meetings, representing the views of people, and their aspirations on returning to community settings.
- Support the ongoing service development, drawing on your role as an ‘Expert by Experience’ and using what you hear from the people you support to contribute to the development of the services by reviewing and contributing to improvements.

The role

Specialist experience
For this role, significant senior leadership experience within substance use services is essential, including experience of leading CQC-regulated provision and maintaining high standards of quality, safety and regulatory compliance.
You will also need a strong understanding of safeguarding and the governance required to deliver safe and effective services for children and young people. Direct operational experience of Children & Young People services would be valuable, but we are equally interested in candidates who can demonstrate strong safeguarding and CYP governance experience alongside substantial substance use leadership.

The Service Manager will have overall responsibility for the operational leadership, quality, performance and contract delivery of both the LB Newham Core and the Intensive Support Accommodation contracts. RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the delivery supported accommodation contracts in line with commissioner expectations, contract requirements, organisational policies and agreed performance standards.
• Provide clear management oversight of service quality, safety, safeguarding, risk, incidents, complex cases and escalation.
• Ensure residents receive effective assessments, risk management, support planning, move-on planning and outcome-focused reviews.
• Set and maintain clear resettlement standards across the service, ensuring residents are supported to develop independent living skills, secure appropriate move-on options and sustain accommodation after leaving the service.

• Ensure the intensive supported accommodation service provides safe, responsive and proportionate support for residents with complex needs and high levels of risk.

• Prepare accurate reports, evidence and performance commentary for commissioner monitoring, audits, inspections and service reviews.

Essential Criteria
• Experience managing or supervising staff in supported housing, homelessness, social care, community support or a similar setting.

The Project Officer will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of our Council funded Adult Bereavement Service in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.This service aims to provide accessible, empathetic and effective support for adults affected by bereavement, particularly sudden or drug/alcohol-related deaths. The Project Officer will work collaboratively as part of the local and regional volunteer and staff team.

Jasmine Mother & Child Family Residential Centre
Is a specialist residential centre for mothers, their children and pregnant women where there are concerns about substance use, trauma, instability, safeguarding and/or parenting capacity.
Rated Good by both CQC and Ofsted, Jasmine Mother & Child brings together residential parenting assessment, recovery-focused interventions, safeguarding oversight and pregnancy support in one specialist setting.
About the role
This role focuses on providing a safe, structured setting where risks can be understood properly, support can be put in place, and parenting capacity can be assessed with the child’s safety at the centre.
As Registered Manager, you will lead the day-to-day delivery of this seven-bed residential family service, ensuring a safe, nurturing and trauma-responsive environment for women, children and staff.
What you will do
· You must meet Ofsted Registered Manager status requirements. You will have a good understanding of regulatory standards. You will liaise and cooperate with both regulators and be aware of relevant documentation.

SV 2 is a charity supporting victims and survivors of sexual abuse or assault across Derby City and Derbyshire.

The registered aims of the Charity are:
- To help relieve the suffering and distress of persons who have been raped or sexually abused; and
- To advance the education of the public in the subject of rape and sexual abuse and their effects.
We do this by providing a range of support, education and prevention services, including our BACP accredited therapy service.
Summary of the role and requirement:
The subcontracted therapist be willing to commit to a minimum of 4 clients per week for adults and 3 clients per week for Children, delivering a high-quality specialist therapeutic service to victims of sexual violence. This work will be face to face and can be delivered at any time, on any day of the week. The Subcontractor will liaise with the Therapy Delivery Manager.
As a sub-contracted therapist, you will:
- Deliver high quality and ethical therapeutic practice
- Be in receipt of supervision in line with BACP requirements
- Provide clinical assessments
- Liaise with parents, carers and guardians (Children’s Therapist)
- Provide a short-term model of 8 sessions per adult client and 10 sessions per child client in line with pre-trial guidelines and SV2 business needs
- Collaborate with Independent Sexual Violence Advisor (ISVA), other team members and external practitioners and professionals to provide specialist clinical services as required
- Monitor therapeutic progress through regular reviews and the use of outcome measures set out by the organisation
- Maintain current and accurate records of clients and client interactions utilising SV2’s case management system
- To attend mandatory training including SV2 induction and local authority Safeguarding Level3
- Have knowledge and awareness of dissociation, the impact of trauma and vicarious trauma, and an understanding of crisis management
