Purpose of the job

This role is responsible for the design of UK Youth’s support to young people, youth organisations and youth workers. This could include structured youth work programmes, funding and grants+ programmes, professional development initiatives, and campaigns.

You will lead and oversee end-to-end design processes, ensuring that UK Youth develops fully packaged offers that respond to the evidence base and people’s needs, drive forward our strategy and achieve incredible impact. You will work across UK Youth teams, with external design partners, and meaningfully involving young people and the professionals who support them in the design process.

You will be experienced in developing high quality funding propositions (proactively and in response to new business opportunities). You will be confident in taking a human-centred design approach to tackle some of the youth sector’s knottiest problems.  You will design solutions to important problems, ensuring that they are feasible, equitable, impactful and scalable.

In 2026, our priority topics for youth work programmes and network development are: mental health and wellbeing, employability, social cohesion and community safety.

 As a leader, you will work closely with research, evaluation, policy, service delivery, network development, and fundraising teams. You will help to improve the skills and confidence of colleagues across UK Youth to apply design methods in their own work and collaborate effectively with the Design team.

Experience we're after

• Significant experience of leading and overseeing the development of new business propositions and proposals to time-limited funding opportunities

• Experience using human-centred-design methods and mindsets; managing projects across the end-to-end design process

• Proven track record of inspiring and motivating diverse teams and improving collaborative ways of working across teams and departments

This role will help to build relationships with over 80 businesses across all industries including healthcare, finance, insurance, digital, sustainability and more, generating more than £420k each year to support Hospice UK’s work.

The role

You will support all aspects of Hospice UK’s commercial partnership activity, helping to build, steward and develop long‑term relationships with corporate partners, who want to collaborate with hospices. This includes working directly with organisations to secure sponsorship, exhibition space and partnership opportunities. Personalised communications will help move businesses from one‑off activity to longer‑term strategic partnerships.

A key part of the role involves conferences and events. You’ll help secure exhibitors and sponsors for our annual National Conference (1,000+ attendees) and our one‑day conferences, supporting activity from launch through to delivery, including marketing materials, pipeline management, proactive sales and administration.

You’ll also support the Hospice UK Jobs Board, an income‑generating platform promoting careers in hospice and end of life care, contributing to sales and marketing activity, managing job postings and supporting performance analysis and development.

The apprenticeship is for 18 months and in this role, you will complete a Business Administration Level 3 apprenticeship.

About you 
You will play a key co-ordination and support role within the Involvement Team. Working with colleagues, people living with dementia and their family, friends and carers in person and by telephone, email, via social media channels and over teams and zoom.

You’ll be supporting activities that enable people with lived and learnt experience to collaborate, sharing their knowledge, skills and opinions to help plan, shape and influence the work of Alzheimer’s Society. 
 
Patience, empathy and a willingness to learn are essential skills. Someone who is self-motivated and has great interpersonal skills. You’ll be technically literate /IT proficient and interested in learning how to use our Dementia Voice Database.

Key Responsibilities:

This is an exciting role in our committed policy team leading the fight to end child poverty in the UK. The government has just published a UK wide cross-government child poverty strategy, and made some historic commitments to reduce child poverty including scrapping the two-child limit and expanding free school meals in England. We are looking for someone with a track record of communicating complex policy areas in an accessible manner to a range of non-specialist audiences. You will have knowledge of parliamentary processes and the different advocacy levers that can be used to influence change. You will enjoy working collaboratively to identify policy issues and develop solutions, working closely with colleagues across the organisation as well as externally.

In addition, in a senior policy officer we are looking for someone to take a lead role in developing CPAG’s policy and research programme, including leading the delivery of research projects, helping to shape our press and campaigns work, and contributing to the development of future projects including fundraising.

You will have a track record of producing high quality research and analysis, including policy briefings, on social policy issues.

The postholder will be working in a fast moving, high profile and complex policy environment and will need to balance short term priorities with long term objectives. Current priorities include influencing the implementation of the forthcoming child poverty strategy, sharing analysis and expertise as part of the DWP’s review of universal credit, and monitoring the development of the green paper on the changes to disability benefits.

The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role and be motivated by improving systems and processes. They will have strong attention to detail, a proactive, can-do attitude, and excellent written communication skills, with the ability to develop clear, user-friendly policies and procedures from scratch. The post-holder will thrive on providing a mix of practical hands-on facilities and infrastructure delivery (including IT and Health and Safety), and project/contractor management.

The Prospect Researcher plays a key role in supporting high-value fundraising efforts by identifying, analysing, and prioritising potential donors, trusts, and foundations aligned with the Charity’s mission. Through in-depth research and insight generation, the post holder will build a strong, actionable pipeline of prospects, enabling personalised engagement strategies for the Philanthropy Team. Working collaboratively across the Engagement Team, the Prospect Researcher will provide intelligence that shapes cultivation plans, provides insights that supports strategic conversations at events, monitors giving trends, and ensures all prospect activity is data-informed, ethical, and compliant. This role is vital to driving sustainable income growth and deepening the Charity’s reach within the philanthropic community.

Prospect Identification and Research 

• Conduct thorough research to identify and profile potential high-value donors, trusts, and foundations aligned with the charity’s mission and appeal goals.
• Use a range of tools, databases, and resources to gather information on prospects, including their giving capacity, interests, and philanthropic history.
• Prioritise prospects based on their potential value, affinity, and likelihood to engage with the charity.

Intelligence Gathering and Analysis

• Analyse research findings to produce detailed and actionable prospect profiles for use by the Philanthropy Team.
• Provide insights into donor motivations and interests to support personalised cultivation strategies.
• Monitor trends in philanthropy and the wider funding landscape to identify emerging opportunities.

Pipeline Management 

• Support the development and maintenance of a robust prospect pipeline, ensuring it aligns with the income targets and timelines of the capital appeal and core funding opportunities.
• Work closely with the rest of the Relationship Engagement Team to prioritise prospects and support with research required for cultivation activities.
• Track and update prospect records in the charity’s CRM system, Microsoft Dynamics, to ensure accuracy and accessibility.

Ethical Research and Compliance 

• Ensure all research is conducted ethically, legally, and in line with data protection regulations and best practices.
• Maintain confidentiality and sensitivity when handling donor and prospect information.

Collaboration and Reporting

• Collaborate with fundraising colleagues to share insights and ensure a coordinated approach to donor cultivation.
• Prepare regular reports on research activities, prospect pipeline status, and key insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Support the Relationship Engagement Team with ad hoc research needs, such as preparation for donor meetings or events.

Knowledge and Expereince 

• Proven experience in prospect research, fundraising, or a related field, preferably in the charity sector.
• Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesise large amounts of information into clear and actionable insights.
• Proficiency in using research tools, databases, and online resources to identify and evaluate prospects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with the fundraising process, particularly high-value donor and trust fundraising.
• Experience using CRM systems to manage prospect data and track progress.
• Knowledge of the charity sector and the principles of ethical fundraising.

We are looking for an experienced events expert who can plan, deliver and evaluate a diverse portfolio of impactful, high-profile events designed to inspire, engage and mobilise current MSF supporters and recruit new ones.

The Events Manager will lead the strategic planning, delivery and evaluation of diverse portfolio of impactful, high-profile events designed to inspire, engage and mobilise current supporters and recruit new ones. 

The post-holder will ensure that events align with MSF UK’s mission and values, while maximising engagement, awareness and return on investment. 

They will play a pivotal role in fostering relationships with key stakeholders and driving MSF UK’s supporter engagement strategies forward. 

They will collaborate across departments, manage budgets, and provide actionable insights to continuously improve MSF UK's public engagement efforts. 

Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week, Mon-Fri

Salary: £46,784.49 per annum - £57,181.04 per annum | Salary is offered in line with our pay framework and typically starts at the entry point of the band. Salary increases are considered annually and are subject to our appraisal and performance review process.

Supporting colleagues across the Society to navigate procurement with confidence, building the relationships that drive understanding, and using data to identify opportunities that protect resources and unlock savings. 

About the opportunity 

As Procurement Officer within our Finance & Assurance directorate, you'll be part of an agile, flexible team that's transforming how we deliver financial partnership across the organisation. We're on an ambitious journey to become the Society's single point of financial truth - trusted partners and credible experts who enable the organisation to make faster, better-informed decisions. This is where your procurement expertise meets meaningful impact, where your ability to engage colleagues and drive understanding directly enables us to focus on what matters most: transforming lives affected by dementia. 

In this role, you'll provide hands-on procurement support to colleagues across the Society, helping them navigate contracts, suppliers and purchasing decisions. You'll implement our procurement strategies at an operational level, ensuring contracts are delivered with quality and on time. Working collaboratively with Finance, Legal, Risk and Audit colleagues, you'll develop and manage contracts, maintain supplier relationships, and collect the financial data that helps us understand procurement performance. Crucially, you'll engage widely to build understanding of procurement policies, making compliance accessible rather than burdensome, and fostering a culture where best practice becomes the natural way of working. 

You may also have the chance to line manage a Procurement Assistant, developing their capabilities while role-modelling the high-challenge, high-support culture that drives our team's success. 

About you: 

You're an experienced procurement professional who understands that operational excellence comes from making procurement easy for colleagues to get right. You know how to balance rigorous processes with practical support, and you're skilled at engaging people at all levels to improve how procurement works. You're as comfortable analysing spend data as you are explaining contract requirements or building rapport with suppliers. 

You'll have: 

-  Experience driving efficiencies and cost savings through supporting the design and implementation of procurement plans in large organisations. 
- A track record of improving understanding of and engagement with procurement across diverse audiences to boost compliance and effectiveness. 
- Experience of contract development, management and negotiation, with knowledge of the procurement landscape and relevant legislation. 
- Good relationship-building skills with experience working across multiple business areas and with colleagues at different levels, particularly those in financial roles. 
- Excellent communication and influencing abilities, able to engage effectively with internal colleagues and external suppliers alike. 
- Some experience working with finance systems and processes, or in a financial environment, with an interest in the dementia landscape and its procurement implications.

-  Implementing our procurement strategies operationally, ensuring quality contract delivery while building understanding and compliance across the Society. 
- Forming strong relationships with colleagues at all levels to provide expert procurement support that makes purchasing decisions clearer and easier. 
- Collecting and translating financial and procurement data into reports that demonstrate impact and spotlight opportunities for better value. 
- Managing supplier relationships and developing contracts that protect the Society's interests while collaborating across departments for appropriate oversight. 
- Building effective relationships with colleagues to improve value for money and/or drive efficiencies, particularly with colleagues in financial roles. 
- Taking personal ownership of monitoring your work's progress and impact, while supporting the team's efforts to track overall procurement performance.
