The Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner provides trauma-informed, low-intensity psychological support to male survivors of sexual harms. The region’s leading charity in tackling violence against women and girls, BSWA offers a helpline, webchat, drop in and and community support as well as emergency accommodation in six refuges across the area.

Birmingham and Solihull Women’s Aid have for over 45 years supported women and children with services around domestic violence and abuse. Could you be a part of our team as we continue our mission to end domestic violence and abuse?
The region’s leading charity in tackling violence against women and girls, BSWA offers a helpline, webchat, drop in and and community support as well as emergency accommodation in six refuges across the area.
Projects supports women in the criminal justice system, in healthcare settings, and throughout the community, offering support to women and children experiencing domestic violence. Alongside this, we also have staff offering training and consultancy to businesses and health and social care professionals alike, raising awareness on gender based violence issues.
We seek like-minded women to join our enthusiastic team of workers, all of us passionate about the vital and valuable work we do to support women and children who have experienced domestic abuse, and tackling the wider issues of violence against women and girls.
Key Responsibilities -
To support and engage young women (and their children) in refuge and in the
community, who have experienced abuse, through group and individual activities,
involving them in the evaluation and development of the service.
Experience Required -
Of developing and delivering creative ways of engaging with young women
Of organising and running one to one and group activities with young women and children.
Of developing and maintaining effective working relationships with external agencies
Of working within safeguarding guidelines to protect and promote the well-being of children and vulnerable adults.

Van Driver
Starting full-time salary £24,479 a year (£13.45 an hour)
Field Based – To cover South-East London & Kent
Full time, 35 hours a week
Our dedicated team of Van Drivers (known internally as Stock Transport Drivers) support our retail shops every day to supply essential stock which is crucial to their success. This allows our shops to raise much needed funds to create an Equal Future with disabled people.
The Role
Permanent, 35 hours a week
5 Working days a week to include working Wednesday to Sunday.

This role covers collections across central London and south of the river within the M25, with deliveries mainly to shops in South East London and Kent. Some flexibility will be required.
In this role you will:
· Move a variety of donations across Scope Retail as part of your Stock Transport Driver duties.

· Keep the vehicle and stock secure, including planning for routine maintenance and repairs.

· Have a strong customer focus and have a professional, courteous manner with the general public.

A creative self-starter who will support the service and look for innovative solutions to support clients with complex needs. You are confident professional relationship builder with have good awareness of Safeguarding procedures. Strong Administration skills and understanding of compliant behaviours also, experience of supporting. With good knowledge of the criminal justice system and awareness of other support provisions within the region.
