Location: This is an onsite role, located within the London Borough of Hounslow, there may be a requirement to occasionally work in the London Borough of Hillingdon.
Salary: £29,701.36 per annum (Inclusive of London Weighting, which may not be applicable depending on your home location)

Role Purpose

To provide administrative support for the People and Culture team ensuring efficient and effective HR and volunteer processes from onboarding right through to exit. This role requires excellent internal customer service skills and a willingness to help, support and find answers to staff and volunteer queries and questions.

Main Responsibilities

·  To provide administrative support to the People and Culture Team in the recruitment of staff and volunteers.

Job purpose

• To contribute towards achieving the team’s objectives by providing event logistics, finance and admin support to the team.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Social Worker to join our Newcastle Team supporting children and young people diagnosed with cancer.

We pride ourselves on delivering the highest quality support tailored to the needs of the children and young people and their families. The work we do is rewarding but also complex and demanding. You will be part of a close-knit Young Lives vs Cancer social work team, working with an established NHS multi-disciplinary team and services in the community.

This role is predominantly site-based with an element of occasional working from home as agreed with the line manager. Your contractual base will be both Home and Hospital.

The Role

You’ll work closely with foster carers and social work colleagues to deliver high-quality, trauma-informed support and improve outcomes for children and young people.

Key Responsibilities:

• To supervise and support a diverse range of foster carers and children.
• Ensure children are safe, well cared for and achieve positive outcomes consistent in line with TACT policies.
• Undertaking Form F assessments where needed.
• To facilitate regular support groups and learning opportunities, which will include the delivery of training.
• Developing the service and supporting colleagues. 
• Recording and updating CHARMS and all other appropriate central/social work systems.

About the role:

We are looking to appoint a Family Support Worker for a fixed term period of up to 12 months, on a full-time basis (35 hours, 5 days per week) to deliver a high-quality family support service as part of our Kentown Team to families in the local area, at a time where they need it most.

Reporting to the Family Support Manager of the Kentown Team and working in partnership with health, education and social care professionals, you will take responsibility for providing needs-led emotional, social and practical support to families where a child/young person has a life threatening or terminal illness. You will enjoy responsibility for managing your own schedule, remaining flexible to the needs of the families on your caseload.

Having worked in a demanding and emotional environment you have a genuine interest in building supportive relationships and helping people; and having provided bereavement support to families, you understand processes of grief, loss and change - and how best to help others deal with its impact.

We are recruiting sessional assessing social workers to undertake Form F assessments. Our assessments are undertaken face to face. Applicants must live within the specified areas above. 

Key Duties for Form F Assessors include:

• To undertake and complete Form F assessments in the timescale set out in our policy and guidance.
• To visit personal referees as identified on application form for prospective foster carers.
• To ensure that all checks and references are undertaken and completed.
• To provide to the supervisor, regular written updates of the draft assessment.
• To liaise with our administrative team concerning the progress of administrative checks and completion of the Form F.
• To be available for supervision, consultation or liaison as required.
• To be available to present completed Form Fs to the virtual fostering panel and provide support to the applicants through this process.
• To be aware of our child protection procedures and immediately report any child protection matter or concerns to a TACT manager and any relevant placing authority and the area authority.
• To carry out the duties in line with our Foster Carer and Supervising Social Worker Standards and Practice Guidance.

Rates of Pay for Form F Assessors

• £2,250 per Form F Assessment / £37.50 per hour,  plus £250 bonus for ‘panel ready’ assessments, plus £250 bonus for completion within 16 weeks, plus 45p mileage
• £37.50 per hour for assessments which are not completed, and any other piece of work.

About the role

You will be confident making decisions on pricing, product suitability, and display to maximise income. Working collaboratively with a wide range of internal teams and stakeholders, you will communicate effectively and contribute to achieving shared goals. We're looking for a Donor Experience Officer to play a vital role within Acorns Children's Hospice's Fundraising team. As one of the first points of contact for our supporters, you'll help ensure every donation, enquiry and interaction receives a professional, personal and timely response.

This is a varied role that combines supporter care, relationship building, administration and communications. You'll be responsible for managing the end-to-end journey of donations, from processing gifts and maintaining accurate supporter records through to creating meaningful communications that show donors the impact of their support.

Working with colleagues across fundraising, marketing and care, you'll help deliver supporter journeys and stewardship communications that make supporters feel recognised, valued and connected to the difference they are making for local children and families. About the Role

As Donor Experience Officer, you'll play a central role in delivering Acorns' donor experience strategy and ensuring supporters receive an exceptional experience at every stage of their journey with us. You'll balance relationship-focused supporter engagement with the day-to-day administration that underpins successful fundraising activity. 

Key responsibilities include:

• Acting as a first point of contact for supporter enquiries across email, telephone, social media and written communications. 
• Supervising the recording, banking and thanking of donations, ensuring supporter gifts are processed accurately and efficiently.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date supporter information within our CRM system.
• Supporting the delivery of donor journeys, stewardship activity and supporter engagement plans.

You'll understand that great donor experiences are built on both meaningful relationships and excellent administration. Whether you're responding to a supporter enquiry, processing a donation or creating stewardship content, you'll take pride in delivering a high-quality experience and ensuring every supporter feels valued.

You'll bring:

• Experience in supporter care, fundraising, customer service, administration or relationship management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create engaging content for a range of audiences.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience using CRM systems such as Raiser's Edge, Donorfy, Salesforce or similar.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• A collaborative and proactive approach to work.
• A passion for delivering outstanding supporter experiences.
