Skills & Experience

• Proven experience delivering complex commercial operations within high-footfall, multi-site environments, with accountability for income, compliance and performance.
• Experience leading teams and coordinating cross-functional stakeholders, including but  not limited to commercial, property and legal colleagues, to deliver operational and contractual outcomes.
• Proven delivery of restaurant openings, refurbishments, transitions or closures within live hospitality environments, managing risk, continuity of trade and reputation.
• Strong practical understanding of food and beverage operations, including food safety, licensing, planning and front-of-house/back-of-house requirements.
• Strong financial acumen, including budget management, forecasting, financial risk assessment and tracking of project budgets and milestones.
• Ability to manage complex, fast-paced change programmes with material commercial impact, balancing competing priorities and making sound decisions under pressure.

We’re looking for a brilliant Fundraising Manager to devise and deliver strategies to raise money, including for Global’s annual Make Some Noise Appeal. This exciting, project-led role spans mass-participation initiatives, high-profile presenter challenges, events, delivering partnership content, innovation – and lots more. The Role
Under the direction of the a newly appointed Head of Income Generation and Engagement, you will create, deliver and evaluate a long-term Individual Giving strategy.

This role is focused on building a long-term, sustainable individual giving programme that allows the charity to connect with new supporters, deepen relationships with existing ones, and grow their impact.
Build a diverse and sustainable individual giving portfolio suited to the brand, stakeholders, resources and growth aspirations.
Plan and deliver engaging multi-channel fundraising campaigns, appeals and/or product promotions.
Use data and insight to drive performance, monitor results, and build cases for support.
Develop and deliver supporter journeys to encourage loyalty and growth across all income streams.

The role is primarily internal (around 70% of your time). You will lead our learning processes, create meaningful spaces for reflection, and develop practical tools that help colleagues learn, adapt and act. About the role

This new role is to support the growth of Marine Society apprenticeship and adult skills provision. This is a strategic, outward-facing role requiring a confident astute individual who can engage key stakeholders and employers in the maritime industry to recruit new entrants and existing employees onto Marine Society programmes.

Responsibilities

· To grow the apprenticeship and adult skills provision in line with agreed annual recruitment and financial targets

· To attend industry trade fairs and careers events to represent Marine Society. These include; National Apprenticeship Week, Seawork, International Boat Show

· To research and monitor market trends, employer needs and competitor activity to inform business development strategy

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a recruitment, sales or commercial role with a proven track record of achieving financial targets
• Knowledge of the maritime sector including roles, ranks and certifications in the near coastal sector
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build trust and credibility with clients and stakeholders
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to identify, grow and convert new business opportunities

We have an exciting opportunity for a Supported Housing Manager to lead our OLYP team across Horsham and Crawley.

Our 16+ Older Looked After Young People (OLYP), Care Leavers and Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (UASC) services delivers specialist 24-hour supported accommodation where young people are supported to acquire the necessary skills in preparation for living independently, safely explore their increased freedom of choice and develop responsibilities associated with adulthood, whilst still having the appropriate level of support from an experienced team.

As a Supported Housing Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the service, ensuring our accommodation is safe, welcoming and secure. You will work closely with the Deputy Supported Housing Manager, while supporting the wider team to deliver consistent, compassionate support.

In delivering the role, you will be responsible for:

-- Leadership and People Management: Lead and manage a team, recruiting and inducting new staff, and supporting their performance to ensure high standards of service at all times.

-- Service Provision: Responsible for the daily operations of the service so that it meets the requirements of the service specification, and:

- reflects Psychologically Informed Environments (PIEs), Trauma Informed approaches and restorative practices.

- identifies, maps and encourages the strengths and talents of each young person, enabling them to acquire the skills they need to lead independent and fulfilling lives.

-- Partnerships: Develop and maintain effective working relationships with partner organisations that add value to the core, commissioned service (or have the potential to) attending relevant multi-disciplinary meetings as needed.

-- General: Be a member of the out of hours ‘on call’ rota to provide out of hours management support to services in the wider locality.

You will bring substantial experience in leading and developing teams within supported housing or similar services for young people and/or adults at risk. You will have a strong understanding of the Regulator of Social Housing (RSH) and Ofsted frameworks, coupled with a solid grounding in Trauma-Informed Care and Psychologically Informed Environments.

You will be a confident and effective communicator with strong facilitation and decision-making skills, able to lead your team through challenging situations with calmness and clarity. You will have proven experience in overseeing safeguarding procedures within residential services and will model professional standards, maintain clear boundaries while foster a culture of trust, safety and supportive relationships.

You will have proven experience in social services or a related support focused field and must have a strong understanding of Ofsted requirements and regulatory compliance standards. You will be Educated to A level/BTEC/NVQ Level 3 in relevant subjects, or equivalent through relevant CPD training/experience relating to housing, support work, and/or working with young people or adults at risk.

Ruils is run by, and for, Disabled people. We exist to remove the barriers that prevent Disabled people from living independent lives. Our vision is a society where all individuals have choice and control to live independently. We provide information, advice, advocacy, befriending and activities to our clients and their families.

Pathways is a specialised welfare advice service that provides information, advice, advocacy and representation for Disabled adults (over the age of 18) living in the Richmond Borough. We work with clients, supporting them to navigate the complex Housing, Benefits and Social Care systems. In this role, you would be providing information, guidance and advice to Disabled people and their families, enabling them to have more choice and control over their lives.

We are also part of a larger network of Disabled-led advice services. Working together, we have developed pathways for Disabled trainee case workers, collated data on Housing and Benefits issues and have fed into important consultations and campaigns.

This is a unique and rewarding opportunity for you to work one-to-one with clients to effect change, whilst also having a positive impact on the wider system.

• Support clients to gather evidence and prepare for Benefit or Housing applications and appeals, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Attend key meetings and appeals with clients, advocating for them and helping them put their case forward confidently.
• Develop accessible information resources (guides, bulletins) to help clients navigate health, care, benefits and housing systems.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, contributing to forums, campaigns and shared problem-solving.
• Provide supervision and support to trainee caseworkers, including induction, case file reviews and contributing to their development.

About the Role

The Upper Room (TUR) supports individuals experiencing homelessness, poverty, social exclusion and involvement with the criminal justice system. Through UR4Meals and UR4Driving we provide practical support, dignity and opportunity to some of the most disadvantaged members of our community in West London. 

We are seeking an experienced Trusts and Grants Manager to take full ownership of and grow our most important income stream.

Trusts and foundations account for over half of our income, and we have an established portfolio of funders alongside several multi-year grants. This role is central to maintaining that income and driving its growth.

This is a hands-on, autonomous role requiring someone who can independently manage a live pipeline, write high-quality applications, and build strong, long-term funder relationships.

• Identify, research and secure funding from trusts, foundations and statutory sources
• Develop high-quality, persuasive funding applications, including larger and multi-year bids

As Programme Coordinator for Centres of Excellence, you’ll play a pivotal role in our flagship financial education accreditation programme, supporting schools to strengthen and embed high-quality financial education across their curriculum and their wider communities.
