About the role:

This role supports the delivery of stories and campaigns that achieve media coverage nationally and in regional media that fall outside of our hospice catchment areas.

You will lead on PR support for some key areas of the charity, including retail and volunteering.
You’ll also gain exposure to all the teams that the press office supports, which includes writing press assets for fundraising, healthcare, bereavement and influencing/campaigning stories.
You will ensure enquiries from the media are actioned efficiently (including when on-call) and be skilled at spotting media opportunities based on the news agenda, as well as pitching Sue Ryder stories to the media and liaising with journalists.
In this role you will be required to lead on some PR activities/projects with minimal supervision and support the PR officer with their projects, as required

The Tenovus Macmillan Welfare Benefits Caseworker Role Details

Covering the Hywel Dda or the Cwm Taf University Health Board this is an important and meaningful advice role in the cancer community for an experienced Welfare Benefits Caseworker. Managing a fully triaged caseload of welfare benefits clients across your specific area when it comes to cancer you’ll put your existing expert welfare benefits knowledge to good use, so your clients receive their full benefits and entitlements.

Your work is mainly done over the phone but may also be in person or digitally where you’ll be delivering a casework management and advice service for people with a cancer diagnosis and providing all the necessary support.

You’ll receive your referrals through your colleagues delivering the first contact element of the service. These referrals will contain full details of the advice needs ready for you to action the next steps. You’d also be required to independently build professional partner working relationships to support your role across the University Health Board as we grow the service.

What’s key is our service user experience is slick, professional and personable whether that’s with partners or services users.  You’ll be supporting and advising your own caseload of clients with a chronic cancer condition or a life-limiting cancer prognosis so knowledge of working with people with disabilities, people too ill to work or in a distressing situation is something you can comfortably manage in a targeted environment.

Summary of the role

Just Like Us is the LGBT+ young people’s charity and works with thousands of schools and young people across the UK through its programmes. This role is critical to the delivery of our mission and will support the Volunteering Programmes Manager to meet the needs of our community of 350+ volunteers so that we can reach even more LGBT+ young people across the UK. The role will be working across the Programmes Team, working on the Ambassador Programme and supporting the School Talks programme weekly. This role is an entry-level position and will provide the successful candidate with a strong foundation for a career in the voluntary sector. Just Like Us is the LGBT+ young people’s charity. Founded in 2016, we work with primary schools, secondary schools and sixth form colleges across the UK to improve the lives of LGBT+ young people. To do that, we run several programmes:
● Ambassador Programme: We support our ambassadors to use their voice, develop skills and find community. They also deliver our School Talks programme to schools across the UK.

Job Description

This role reports directly to the Volunteering Programmes Manager.

Programme delivery
● Support the Programmes Team to deliver our programmes
● Good regular communication and reporting to the Volunteering Programmes Manager
● Manage the administration of our Ambassador and School Talk programmes. Including the recruitment, training, opportunities and engagement of volunteers
● Deliver Ambassador volunteer training on the weekend, in-person at different locations across the UK and online
● Act as a first point of contact for ambassadors on our programmes, answering questions, sharing new resources and encouraging participation. This includes supporting ambassadors with their direct questions, managing the group chats on a daily basis and inboxes
● Support the School Talk programme, including organising bookings with schools, organising volunteers, supporting schools, supporting the whole delivery

We are seeking a motivated and highly organised Fundraising Assistant to join our successful and dynamic Fundraising Team. The Fundraising Assistant will be based in Bewick House in the Development and Partnerships Directorate.

As Fundraising Assistant, you will report to, and work closely with, the Grants and Philanthropy Manager, under the overall leadership of the and Director of Development and Partnerships. You will be joining the Norfolk Wildlife Trust Fundraising team – a supportive, innovative and welcoming team, responsible for Individual Giving, Major Donors, Grants and Trusts, Legacies, Community Fundraising as well as Corporate Supporters. This team is tasked with providing, maintaining and growing the income of the Trust.  We have a particularly exciting and challenging period ahead as the Trust in it its centenary year and seeks to source funding for its ambitious strategy “A Wilder Norfolk for All”. With responsibility for the administration of the efforts of the Fundraising Team, you will work closely with colleagues in Nature Conservation, Nature Recovery, the Visitor Centres and PR and Comms, and Engagement.

You will play a pivotal role in the efficient operation of NWT’s fundraising systems and effective recording of the Team’s communications and income details on the Trust’s CRM system.

The Data Insight Manager for our Finance and Data team will play a vital role in strengthening RNID’s understanding of our audiences and improving how we use data to drive timely, targeted and impactful communications.

You will conduct campaign selections, audience insights and segmentation, working closely with the Senior Data Analyst and fundraising teams to deliver accurate, compliant and high‑quality data for supporter engagement. This is an exciting opportunity to shape supporter journeys, contribute to audience segmentation development and support a data audit as part of RNID’s supporter engagement strategy. 

What you will be doing

· Deliver high‑quality campaign selections and ensure robust, compliant data processes. 

· Provide meaningful insights to inform decision‑making and improve supporter engagement. 

· Develop and maintain segmentation logic, profiling, and audience insights. 

· Support cross‑charity projects including segmentation development, data audits, and supporter journey design. 

· Improve data quality by identifying issues and recommending enhancements.  

You bring strong analytical skills, experience producing campaign selections, and the ability to interpret complex data and translate it for non‑technical audiences. You are collaborative, proactive and comfortable managing competing priorities to deliver high‑quality outputs. You have experience using CRM systems and query tools (e.g., Dynamics 365, SQL or other selection tools), and ideally experience in segmentation, profiling, or direct marketing. You are purpose‑driven and willing to learn about deaf culture.

Purpose of the job

As Major Donor Manager, you will support the delivery of UK Youth's major donor programme, cultivating high-value, long-term relationships with high-net-worth (HNW) individuals in support of UK Youth's mission and vision. You will build and manage a pipeline of major donors and prospects, working towards income targets that grow year on year, and play a critical role in securing unrestricted funding, programme funding and transformational capital investment.

About Just Like Us

Just Like Us is the LGBT+ young people’s charity. Founded in 2016, we work with primary schools, secondary schools and sixth form colleges across the UK to improve the lives of LGBT+ young people. To do that, we run several programmes:
● Ambassador Programme: We support our ambassadors to use their voice, develop skills and find community. They also deliver our School Talks programme to schools across the UK.
● School Talks programme: We train and support our LGBT+ 18 to 25 year olds to speak in secondary schools about growing up LGBT+ and allyship.

Job Description

This role reports directly to the Education Programmes and Impact Manager.

Programme delivery
● Support the Programmes Team to deliver our programmes
● Good regular communication and reporting to the Education Programmes and Impact Manager
● Manage the administration of our School Talk programme, including organising bookings with schools, organising volunteers, supporting schools and ambassadors, supporting the whole delivery
● Represent the charity at conferences, events, prides and fairs
● Ensure volunteers have a fulfilling and engaging experience when volunteering with Just Like Us, that they feel recognised and understand the impact of their contribution

The RCR, in partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support, is leading a national review into cancer multidisciplinary team (MDTs) improvement — a key commitment in the National Cancer Plan. We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to drive this high-profile programme and deliver meaningful change for cancer services. 

This is a rare opportunity to shape how cancer teams work across the country and to deliver meaningful improvements for patients, clinicians and the wider cancer workforce. 

As Project Manager, you will take full ownership of the planning, coordination and delivery of the Cancer MDT Reform Programme. You’ll work closely with senior leaders across the health system including NHS England, Macmillan Cancer Support and the Department of Health and Social Care as well as senior Officers at the RCR, including regular reporting to our Vice-President for Clinical Oncology. 

Key responsibilities include: 

• Leading the full project lifecycle, from developing detailed project plans to managing risks, timelines and reporting. 
• Delivering a large two-day national stakeholder event to gather insight and build consensus across the cancer community. 
• Drafting high-impact written outputs, including a flagship report outlining recommendations for MDT improvement to be shared with government. 
• Collaborating with DHSC and NHSE to support the development of future MDT guidance. 
• Building strong, productive relationships with clinicians, NHS partners, national charities, Royal Colleges and internal teams. 
• Line managing the Project Administrator and fostering an effective and motivated project team.
