Role Overview:

Support the delivery of impactful events and engagement activities that advance the organisation’s mission, strengthen relationships with supporters, and maximise fundraising and partnership opportunities. Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and deliver scheduled events such as donor receptions, partner activations, and fundraising activities, ensuring smooth execution from planning to completion.
• Manage stakeholder records in Salesforce, maintaining accurate data and supporting engagement activities.
• Assist with producing briefing notes, proposals, and engagement materials for internal and external audiences.
• Support the organisation’s communication efforts for events, including social media, photography, and storytelling.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to coordinate logistics, invitations, and event materials.
• Contribute to risk assessments, health and safety compliance, and post-event evaluations for continuous improvement.
• Maintain awareness of upcoming events, such as the Birmingham 2027 Games, and support related activities.
• Provide operational support including administrative tasks, procurement, and processing invoices as needed.
• Support fundraising initiatives through event logistics and supporter engagement strategies.

Person Specification:

• Proven experience in coordinating or delivering events, particularly relating to fundraising or stakeholder engagement.
• Experience working with supporters, corporate partners, or external stakeholders, with excellent relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable managing multiple tasks with competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce, and digital event platforms.
• Strong organisational skills, with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to adapt to evolving priorities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with the confidence to engage diverse audiences.
• Solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to troubleshoot and manage unexpected issues calmly.

What’s on Offer:

• Rate: £32,000 - £38,000 dependent on experience
• Location: Hybrid – Central London

A varied, hands-on position within a small, collaborative Finance team. You’ll support day-to-day finance operations while contributing to reporting, budgeting and project work.

Key responsibilities include:

• Maintaining accurate financial records and processing transactions
• Managing invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations
• Supporting monthly management accounts and reporting
• Assisting with budgets, forecasts and grant due diligence
• Contributing to audit preparation and fund monitoring
• Improving processes and supporting finance queries across the organisation

About you

• Part-qualified (AAT or studying ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or equivalent experience
• Background in a finance or accounts role
• Strong Excel and systems skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Proactive, organised and keen to develop

The Programme Coordinator plays a central role in ensuring the smooth running of the Trust's programme partnerships, training delivery, and organisational systems. The role of Interim Head of Fundraising

This is an exciting interim (9-12 month) opportunity for a strategic and people focused leader to head up our Fundraising team and help drive meaningful change for people affected by digestive conditions.

This role is primarily focused on strengthening and scaling voluntary income and leading our fundraising team and activities.  The postholder will also shape the future fundraising operating model and support a smooth transition to a permanent fundraising lead.

​You’ll be responsible for leading our small and growing fundraising team delivering exceptional supporter care, ensuring high quality service and operational delivery.  With our Chief Executive, you'll develop and implement strategies to support fundraising growth, team performance, and supporter engagement and satisfaction.  You'll work collaboratively across the charity. 

This is a hands-on role suited to a highly experienced fundraising lead who enjoys working with a growing and developing charity.

Hours & Salary range

We are looking for someone to work full-time, or a minimum of 4 days (or 30 hrs) per week. We will consider self-employed candidates for the role but this is subject to appropriate experience. Please stipulate clearly in your covering letter if you are applying on this basis.

Salary range is £65 - £68k (+£2k London weighting) to be calculated pro-rata for anyone looking to work reduced hours. Salary offers will be based on experience. 

Location

We have offices in London and Huddersfield, both of which are easily accessible by public transport or road. We support hybrid working but attendance in the chosen office is required for a minimum of 1 day per week.
