Porchlight is dedicated to supporting people facing homelessness, poor mental health, and poverty. About the role
As Senior Supporter Retention Officer (Appeals and Islamic Giving), you will lead the development of supporter-led, multi-channel fundraising campaigns. Centrepoint helps vulnerable young people by giving them the practical and emotional support they need to find a job and live independently. We provide homeless young people with accommodation, health support and life skills to get them back into education, training and employment. The Stewardship Officer (Mid-value) role sits within Centrepoint’s Stewardship Team in Individual Giving and Legacies (IGL). The IGL unit has grown significantly in recent years and is forecast to raise £24.7m in FY 2026/27. This role is core to the delivery of the IG Stewardship programme, supporting growth across Mid‑value Cash and Regular Giving audiences.
Working closely with the Senior Stewardship Officer (Mid-value), you will deliver a fundraising communications plan for mid-value donors, who give an annualised value of £1,000-£5,000 - including targeted appeals, inspiring updates and impact reports, as well as supporter events and online webinars. You will support efforts to drive forward stewardship journeys to deepen engagement, build long-term relationships and increase lifetime value.
Centrepoint operates a hybrid working model. The requirement is a minimum of 50% of your working week. The Vacancy
We are seeking two exceptional individuals to join our Board as a Non-Executive Directors (NED) and help guide the organisation’s strategic direction. The successful candidate must meet the statutory duties outlined in the Companies Act 2006, including acting within the company’s powers, promoting its success, exercising independent judgement, and upholding the highest standards of care, skill, and integrity.
Board Directors must avoid conflicts of interest, declare relevant interests, and maintain strict confidentiality at all times.

Key Responsibilities
Non-Executive Directors are expected to contribute across the following areas:
Director are expected to contribute to smaller working groups comprising both Board members and senior executives.
Values and Ethos
While the company is owned by the Methodist Church, Non-Executive Directors are not required to be members of the Church. However, candidates with suitable experience and who are in sympathy with the aims and ethos of the Methodist Church are encouraged to apply, including first-time NED applicants.
Please note that while The Wesley manages the formal recruitment process, the final appointment decision rests with the Methodist Church in Britain.
Any appointment will be subject to approval by the Trustees of the Methodist Church, who act as the Company’s shareholder.
About You
We are seeking two candidates with senior-level experience and strong governance capability. While a range of professional backgrounds will be considered, we are particularly interested in individuals with expertise in finance, IT/cyber security, legal, HR, risk, property, or communications. Experience within the hospitality sector is highly desirable. Above all, candidates must demonstrate the ability to operate effectively as Non-Executive Directors, providing independent judgement, strategic insight, and constructive challenge.
Successful candidates will be able to provide independent oversight, constructive challenge, and strategic guidance to the Board, ensuring the long-term success, sustainability, and effective governance of the company. The Non-Executive Director will contribute to Board decision-making, uphold high standards of corporate governance, and support the Executive Team in delivering agreed objectives.
Remuneration
Non-Executive Directors receive a monthly fee based on an estimated commitment of 24 days per annum, remunerated at a rate of £375 per day. Reasonable, pre-approved expenses incurred in the course of fulfilling the role will also be reimbursed.

Engagement Partner Scotland
Job Description and Person Specification
Reporting to: Area Manager
Direct reports: None
Location of work: Scotland – Glasgow/Edinburgh or surrounding area. This post holder will be based at home and will deliver a hybrid model of engagement, combining in-person visits to schools and other establishments within an allocated local area with remote engagement.
The role will require regular local travel, including some early morning breakfast visits, and irregular travel throughout the UK with minimal overnight stays. A full driver’s licence and use of a vehicle is required.
Contract type: Term time only

Job Purpose
Magic Breakfast’s mission is to end child morning hunger in the UK now and for good. The Engagement Partner – Hybrid will be responsible for delivering both face to face and remote engagement with schools, teachers, children and young people, and their wider communities within an allocated area. The role will support schools with the setup, rollout and continuous improvement of breakfast provision, and engage with school communities to educate on the importance of breakfast on learning, enabling increased uptake in a barrier and stigma free way by optimising provision and encouraging reach.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
To educate and engage the wider school community, including teachers, parents and children and young people, on the importance of breakfast and the implications of hunger as a barrier to learning through assemblies, staff meetings, online support, virtual and in-person events, and regional events throughout the academic year.
To support the recruitment of new schools by launching new breakfast provisions through a hybrid delivery model, adapting to the requirements of each school and the needs of children and young people, and advising on best practice.
To support supporter visits, volunteering activity, funder engagement and any related requirements, both in person and remotely.
To support any media requests as directed through the Policy & Engagement team.

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced fundraising or direct marketing professional to lead and deliver engaging multi-channel campaigns that inspire supporters and maximise long term income growth.
Working closely with the Individual Giving Manager, you will take ownership of campaigns across cash appeals, regular giving and lottery activity, managing projects from planning through to analysis and optimisation. You will use data, insight and creativity to improve supporter journeys, increase retention and deliver outstanding supporter experiences.
You’ll also work collaboratively across fundraising, communications and supporter care teams, while managing relationships with external agencies and suppliers to ensure campaigns are delivered to a high standard, on time and within budget.
