A Support Worker will help to enable vulnerable people with complex support needs to manage their licences and move towards greater independence within the community by providing a flexible and individually tailored support package.
This role will be based at for Pound Lane, which is a high complex needs 24-hour service with same shift pattern.

The working pattern for this role is: - 5 days a week, working over a seven day pattern, weekends included. Shift pattern 8am-4am and late shift 1.30pm-9.30pm

What you'll do:
* Undertake key-working responsibilities for a caseload assigned by the Team Leader / Manager
* Oversee the daily running of the service ensuring all health and safety responsibilities are met
* Raise safeguarding alerts and complete incident reports within specified timeframe
* Undertake initial and continuous assessment of needs and potential risks and agree levels of support and actions
* Create support/action plans for providing appropriate support based on the assessment and reflecting the services and resources available
* Support customers to undertake domestic tasks wherever possible, including practical assistance where they have not yet developed the skills, to ensure customers enjoy a high quality of living standards
* Support customers to move on from the service through their identified move on pathway liaising with our Resettlement Officer and Brent Housing team.

Contract: This is a maternity cover fixed term contract. About the role:

As the Development and Fundraising Co-ordinator, you will support statutory and non-statutory funding across Advance’s services, with oversight by the Development Manager and support from the Bid Officer. You will also provide assistance to the Head of Fundraising.

The role will support a high standard of bids are created, showing strong attention to detail, an ability to work under pressure and to demanding deadlines. You will track prospective funding opportunities, submit successful proposals, maintain consistent, regular communication with external stakeholders, and provide administrative support to the department. Key to the success of the post will be the ability to research appropriate funding streams, contribute to bid application content, and keep clear, accurate records.

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Conduct prospect research to identify suitable statutory and grant funding opportunities related to Domestic Abuse, Violence Against Women and Girls, Young Women and Girls and Criminal Justice by keeping abreast of research, procurement portals, and sector developments

• Support the execution and delivery of proposals, including completing technical documents, due diligence, and social value matrices, ensuring that proposals meet agreed specifications and deadlines, as well as Advance’s quality standards

• Assist the respective managers to review bid application processes, identify gaps, and increase efficiencies

• Support colleagues to generate standardised, high quality funder reports and communications to funders

• Lead on communication with Advance’s partners and internal teams to keep abreast of developments throughout the bid process

• Oversee due diligence of funders and delivery partners

• Support the Fundraising and Development team to maintain regular communication with existing and potential funders

• Maintain Advance’s donor database

• Keep up-to-date, accurate records on the progress of funding prospects and proposals

• Take responsibility for reviewing and keep clear, accurate records of agreement documents and contracts, following the team’s processes for filing and version control

About You:

To be successful as the Development and Fundraising Co-ordinator you’ll need the below skills:

Location: This role will be based in Basingstoke but will cover the full Hampshire region. About You:

• A thorough understanding of and knowledge of the issues relating to women in the criminal justice system
• A sound knowledge of safeguarding adult and children principles, child abuse, child protection issues and safeguarding
• A good knowledge and understanding of organisational systems and frameworks, line management and project management
• Significant experience of working with women and/or service users with a complex range of needs, particularly within the criminal justice system, in custody and/or community
• Experience with report writing, contract management and financial reporting including analysis of outcomes, outputs and gaps
• Experience of implementing quality assurance frameworks, monitoring, evaluating and measuring impact
• The ability to work well within a team and responsibly on own initiative and of maintaining professional boundaries with staff, clients and partner agencies

About the role:

The Senior Finance Officer is responsible for providing efficient, accurate, and compliant financial support to the charity. The role ensures robust financial controls, timely reporting, and effective stewardship of charitable funds in line with regulatory, donor, and internal requirements.

The role will require someone who can work flexibly and independently, with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate must be comfortable using accounting software and be confident and able to adapt their skills to meet the requirements of an organisation in a period of rapid growth and change.

Your key responsibilities and duties include:

• Maintain accurate financial records, including purchase ledger, sales ledger, and nominal ledger
• Process invoices, payments, expenses, payroll and other relevant journals accurately and on time

About You:

PURPOSE OF POSITION

This role is responsible for the service delivery of an effective, high quality, person centred support service to residents with a background of rough sleeping and range of medium to high needs. These includes entrenched drug and/or alcohol issues, mental health diagnosis and a range of offending backgrounds.

They will be the principal providers of support to residents in the Harbour Project team and will also work alongside Assistant Support Workers, to promote resident engagement through the development of positive relationships with our residents and contributing towards the promotion of a fulfilling, safe and inclusive environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES

 To be responsible to the Team Manager for the day-to-day delivery of the Harbour Project Team.

Use motivational and asset based interviewing techniques to interview, assess and create support plans and risk assessments that address the needs of residents.

Take a positive, trauma-informed approach to working with residents with complex needs and challenging behaviour.

Conduct regular reviews of support plans and risk assessments as required.

Take a pro-active approach in multi-disciplinary support required for residents.

Work within a Psychologically Informed Environment approach and strive to meet targets and deliver results.

To attend team meetings and take part in service policy and planning.

About the Role

As a Caseworker, you will provide structured, tailored support plans based on holistic assessments for individuals affected by crime. You will make initial contact with victims via the telephone, then tailor the support to them explaining our services, and assessing the impact of crime. Your responsibilities will include developing, delivering, and monitoring safety and support plans, providing resources, interventions, and information to service users.

As a Caseworker you will:

• Manage a caseload of self-referred & referred service users, providing information & advocacy to help them navigate the criminal justice process.

• Identify barriers to accessing services & work with partners to provide ongoing support.

About You

You will have an understanding of the impact of crime on victims & experience in delivering services within a statutory, voluntary, or multi-agency setting. Experience in managing a caseload and of completing risk & needs assessments would be beneficial.

The South London Women’s Hostel is a 24-hour supported accommodation, offering specialist multi-disciplinary gender specific and trauma informed support to women with multiple complex needs. The South London Women’s Hostel sits within the Chrysalis Project to provide support to women who currently or have recently experienced domestic abuse, sexual exploitation, violence against women and girls (VAWG); and/or have multiple disadvantages.

In the role of Project Worker, you will support clients on their journey toward increased independence. The role focuses on empowering residents to build on their strengths, develop practical life skills, and maintain independence in the community.

Working in this role, your key responsibilities will be to:

• Work with women to identify their personal aims and ambitions and work towards achieving them.
• Support clients to access therapeutic services.
• Support financial resilience through access to DWP services, work experience and training.
• Undertake everyday housing management tasks, including health and safety and the clearing of rooms.
• Provide practical and personal support to clients in an approachable, caring and person-centred way.
• Work as part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team to provide safe, high quality, positive and inclusive service to clients.
• Complete administrative records relating to client work, housing management and health and safety. 
• Work 12.5hour a day 8am-8.30pm, 3 times a week, rolling rota including weekends and bank holidays.

For this role staff can claim an additional 20% pay premium for hours worked between 8pm and 8am Monday to Friday, and all hours worked on Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays.

About the role

This role sits within Women and Girls Network’s CJS Team and provides rapid, short-term advocacy and support to survivors, in London, who have experienced sexual violence and are engaging with, or considering engaging with, the criminal justice system.

You will deliver brief, trauma-informed and survivor-centred support to people who are unable to access an ISVA locally or who are waiting for support through the London Survivors Gateway. Working across the Gateway partnership - including Rape Crisis Centres, Galop, Survivors UK, Respond, and the Havens - you will help ensure survivors receive timely, independent information and advocacy at a critical point.

As this is a pilot role, you will also play a key part in shaping and developing this specialist brief intervention ISVA provision in response to survivor need.

What you will be doing

As the Brief Intervention Independent Sexual Violence Advocate (ISVA), you will:

• Provide rapid, short-term independent advocacy, information and support to survivors navigating or considering the criminal justice system, enabling informed choice and access to rights.
• Deliver empowering, trauma-informed and intersectional support, including risk and needs assessments, safety planning and tailored action planning.
• Offer clear, impartial information about reporting options, the criminal justice process, survivors’ rights under the Victims’ Code, and available legal and compensation routes.
• Advocate on survivors’ behalf with police and criminal justice agencies, and support attendance at police stations or court where required.
• Work within strict safeguarding, confidentiality and professional boundaries, ensuring survivor safety and wellbeing remain central at all times.
• Develop and pilot a brief intervention ISVA model, contributing to service design, case management systems and best practice alongside the CJS Team Manager and Gateway partners.
• Build strong working relationships across the London Survivors Gateway partnership to strengthen pathways and improve access to timely support.
• Maintain accurate case records, monitoring and evaluation data, and engage in supervision, reflective practice and continuous professional development.
• Model WGN’s feminist, trauma-informed and anti-oppressive approach, contributing to a collaborative team culture and high-quality service delivery.
