We’re seeking a dynamic individual to support Medair UK’s engagement with Trusts and Foundations in the United Kingdom. As an integral part of the team you will help enable support for Medair's life-saving work responding to conflict, disease, and disaster so that the world’s most vulnerable and hard-to reach people can live with dignity and hope.
As a good communicator with excellent written skills and strong attention to detail, you will have the ability to produce compelling funding applications and donor reports. You will be proactive, highly organised and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. A confident relationship builder, you will enjoy supporting trusts and foundations to engage with Medair's humanitarian work. Whether through direct fundraising experience or transferable skills, you will understand how to communicate effectively with donors and support the development of long-term funding relationships. Comfortable using CRM systems and databases, you will combine creativity, strong administration skills and an understanding of what motivates charitable giving to help grow support for Medair's work.
Key Activity Areas
Lead Generation - Trusts and Foundations
Support the identification and research of new Trusts and Foundations aligned with Medair's funding priorities, maintaining a pipeline of prospective funders.
Manage a portfolio of small and medium-sized Trusts and Foundations, progressing relationships through the donor journey and supporting their ongoing engagement with Medair.
Conduct prospect research and prepare donor profiles, briefing notes and background information to support fundraising approaches and applications.
Work closely with the Head of Trusts and Foundations to identify opportunities to develop new funding relationships and increase support from existing partners.
Communications - Trusts and Foundations
Prepare high-quality funding applications, letters of enquiry, cases for support and reports for Trusts and Foundations.
Support the delivery of stewardship plans for Trust and Foundation partners, helping to ensure funders remain engaged with Medair's work.
Build positive relationships with trust representatives through written communications, meetings, events and other engagement opportunities.
Ensure all grants are acknowledged appropriately and that donor communications are delivered in a timely manner.
Planning, Monitoring and Pipeline Management
Maintain accurate records of Trust and Foundation activity, applications, grants and contacts within Salesforce.
Monitor application and reporting deadlines, ensuring all submissions are completed accurately and on time.
Ensure grants are correctly allocated to Medair programmes and that funding information is recorded and tracked throughout the grant lifecycle.
Support the monitoring of fundraising performance, pipeline progress and funding opportunities.
Social Media Support (15%)
Working with the Marketing & Communications Manager to plan, create and schedule social media content across Medair UK's channels.
Draft engaging social media copy and identify stories, programme updates and supporter content that help communicate Medair's impact to external audiences.
Ensure all social media content is consistent with Medair's brand, values and communications guidelines.
Tasks common to all staff
Act as an ambassador for Medair UK at all times when liaising externally and internally.

Main purpose of post
This is an important role in the fundraising team which is responsible for identifying, developing, and converting opportunities to generate income to achieve Weston Park Cancer Charity’s strategy. This role will support the Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager to secure income generation through corporate organisations. It carries an income target aligned to the grade of the post holder, within an overall corporate income target of over £400,000 per annum.
You will be expected to understand Weston Park Cancer Charity’s unique offer, the needs and priorities of our corporate partners and be capable of taking our propositions and clearly shaping them to create mutual value for the communities we support and our partners.
Key Responsibilities
· Responsible for an income target of which aligns with the grade of the post, contributing to an overall corporate income target of over £4000k pa.
· Delivers income growth through gifts from corporates, workplace fundraising and public facing corporate donations.
· Support the Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager in developing and implementing a comprehensive corporate partnership strategy which is data driven and demonstrates strong ROI.

You will use your commercial focus and expertise to drive best practices in our projects, managing various aspects of spending from RfQs for tail-end to tendering on our eProcurement portal for large project procurements. Now’s an exciting time to join us as we work on a new multi-year strategy and expand the team yet again, bringing in new resource to give the different activity areas space to grow and ensure we can do our best work – contributing to PCR’s lifesaving mission, developing our careers and enjoying work within an ambitious and supportive environment.
This role is new, created to focus on community fundraising which is a growing area with huge potential for PCR. We currently receive significant unsolicited income from our brilliant supporters, but there is a key opportunity to take a more proactive approach to recruiting new community fundraisers, improving their supporter experience and testing new offerings & products. You will work with the team to create and deliver a plan for this new proactive approach and will lead on day-to-day relationship management with fundraisers.
You will also lead the project management and delivery of some community-focused fundraising events. For example,our annual Snowdonia for Science event or testing new PCR-owned products which work for a community fundraising audience. We currently expect the split of time to be roughly 75% on community fundraising and 25% on events, but the two areas will be closely connected, and this split may change over time. We are excited to work with you to develop the direction of this role as the team and portfolio grows.
You will report to the Head of Events & Community and work closely with the whole team, as well as colleagues across PCR. Most of the Events team try to work together once a week when possible at our London office (Chancery Lane) but we have flexible working arrangements, so you can choose to be office based or hybrid. You would be needed to travel to regular supporter events across the UK (many of which are currently in the London/ SE England area) and to some team days in London on an ad-hoc basis.

We are looking for an experienced, proactive and highly organised Operations Manager to join our Senior Leadership Team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of START by ensuring the organisation operates safely, efficiently and in line with best practice.
Core Responsibilities
As Operations Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operational management of the charity, leading on health and safety, facilities management, information governance, H.R, organisational policies and procedures, and the continuous improvement of our operational systems. You will also manage operational staff, lead key organisational projects and work collaboratively with colleagues, trustees, partners and external contractors to support the delivery of our strategic objectives.
This varied and rewarding role requires a confident leader with excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills, who can manage multiple priorities while maintaining high standards of compliance and service delivery. This is an opportunity to join Refuge as a Deputy Service Manager to support survivors who have been impacted by domestic abuse. We are recruiting for a Deputy Service Manager who is passionate about supporting survivors who are impacted by domestic abuse. In this role you will provide line management and support to community-based staff who support survivors of domestic abuse across Derby City. This will include providing supervision on complex casework, overseeing operational emergencies and ensuring high standards of casework.
The Deputy service manager willjoin our management team toassist the service manager in the delivery and development of high-quality support to survivors accessing our community-based services in Derby City. In this role you will ensure the smoothrunning of high-quality service to support survivors of domestic abuse. This will include managing staff teams to ensure effective advocacy is provided to survivors who are at medium/standard risk and their children.
A key requirement is to provide personal welfare support and to ensure that survivors are provided with a safe, supportive outreach service
Suitable candidates must have proven experience of providing direct emotional and practical support, and of managing case work. In addition, you must have experience of managing and motivating staff, knowledge of domestic abuse issues, experience of providing support to survivors, and experience of working in community-based services
As a member of the management team, you will be required to participate in an out-of-hours on call service, on a rota basis, responding to out of hours emergencies.
This post is restricted to women due to the nature of the role. The Occupational Requirement under Schedule 9 (part 1) of the Equality Act 2010 applies.

The Youth Employability Service
CXK delivers the Youth Employability Service (YES) across East Sussex, commissioned by East Sussex County Council. We offer information, advice, support and guidance to young people in academic years 12 and 13 who are not in education, employment or training (NEET), helping them to explore their options, plan and then take their next steps. We also work with schools supporting young people in year 11 who are at risk of becoming NEET. Liaising with a range of other services, YES is focussed on supporting young people to achieve their potential.
The Team
The YES team support young people from across the county, seeing them at CXK bases, partner venues or in community settings. The team assess and action plan with young people referred to the service, supporting them to understand their options and take steps toward achieving their goals around education, training and /or employment. Working with a wide range of young people, the team approach is focused, creative and persistent, building on young peoples’ confidence and motivation alongside their skills and personal growth.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated YES Team Leader to support the delivery of a high-performing Youth Employability Service across East Sussex. You will provide line management and case management support to a team of advisers, ensuring young people achieve positive outcomes in employment, education and training while maintaining high standards of quality and performance.
Working closely with the Area Manager, you will use performance data and service metrics to monitor delivery, identify areas for improvement and contribute to service planning. You will support quality assurance activities including audits, observations and continuous improvement initiatives.
You will oversee referral allocation and caseload management, ensuring service standards and contractual requirements are met. A key part of the role involves managing the service database to support the tracking of young people across East Sussex, working closely with the East Sussex County Council Data Team to ensure data accuracy, compliance and effective reporting
The role also requires effective partnership working, representing YES and CXK at stakeholder meetings, developing positive relationships with external agencies and promoting the needs of young people who are NEET or at risk of becoming NEET. You will support staff with safeguarding, risk management and professional development, while championing youth participation and ensuring young people's voices are heard within the organisation.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident leader with experience of managing staff within a service supporting young people. You will be committed to achieving positive outcomes for young people, have strong communication and relationship-building skills, and be able to effectively use data to drive service performance and improvement.

About the role
The Finance Manager will work closely with colleagues across the organisation, including the nation offices, supporting and advising, building excellence in standards within the finance office and injecting innovative solutions to the organisation’s financial strategy.
About you
We are looking for a proactive and visible finance professional who is able to engage and build relationships across the organisation as a pivotal member within a values led high performing organisation. You will be a qualified accountant with proven track record of financial management awareness and a solid understanding of charity audits and statutory accounts preparation. You will have the ability to work with staff across the organisation in supporting good financial governance and oversight of financial operational matters. You will have the ability to analyse financial information and present this in a suitable format for the audience. You will have good ability to meet deadlines, be IT literate with an emphasis on financial systems, spreadsheets, Quickbooks and Excel. You will be highly organised with excellent attention to detail and be able to work with minimum supervision.
The role will involve the management of the day-to-day financial activities, VAT, gift aid, payroll and the monthly, quarterly and annual reconciliations and statutory accounts preparation. The job holder will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer, Finance Officer and volunteers within the team. There will be a requirement to work closely with the income generating staff, budget holders, auditors, banks and credit card providers on a regular basis. The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing the Finance Officer and Finance volunteer.
