Main Purpose of the Post
The Chief Executive will have overall responsibility for all aspects of the day to day running of the RLSS and all its services. This will include management of staff and ensuring the services are meeting the needs of those who require them, in addition to managing finances, membership and external relationships. The post holder will be accountable to and work closely with the Board Chair and its Directors to set the strategic direction and further develop the business model which will serve Religious Life Groups for the future.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Strategy & Leadership and Governance
· Provide visible, ambitious, and focused leadership of the RLSS.
· Be overall responsible for the management of the RLSS working in conjunction with the Chair and Directors to provide leadership.
· Lead and contribute to the Board’s overall development of the strategy and annual plans to ensure achievement of a One Church approach to applying the Church’s safeguarding standards.
· Ensure risks to the overall objectives of the RLSS are identified, mitigated, and reported to the Board.
· Develop a culture of resilience, adaptability, and continuous learning within the organization to navigate challenges and maintain trust among victims/survivors and members.
· Develop and promote services and practice improvements which are designed to mitigate risk and improve understanding within safeguarding.
· Effectively sustain a culture that consistently meets the needs of and engages with victim/survivors and with Religious.
· Foster and develop a climate of shared accountabilities, learning and continuous improvement.
· Ensure the RLSS meets it statutory, legal, and regulatory obligations.
· Ensure appropriate presentation and reporting to the Board (and any sub committees and advisory groups) on the progress of the RLSS and on all matters relevant to the discharge of the Board’s responsibilities.
· Oversee all promotional activities, press releases, digital presence, radio, and newspaper interviews.
Staffing & Management.
· Be accountable for the recruitment, retention, ongoing development, and wellbeing of RLSS staff.
· Enthusiastically and effectively, lead, shape, and influence teams to deliver the vision and goals of RLSS to ensure best practice in the delivery of all its safeguarding services.
· Create a supportive working environment which promotes transparency and collaboration in safeguarding.
· Ensure that high quality people management is embedded across the service and foster a high performing culture with shared accountabilities and continuous improvement.
· Ensure the effective management and implementation of robust performance management and appraisal processes.
· Provide direction, support, and set clear objectives to immediate line reports.
· Provide or arrange professional supervision to safeguarding case working staff.
· Produce, review and update plans relating to service areas.
· Establish and maintain effective and secure record keeping systems.
· Ensure the management and implementation of regular quality assurance, audit, performance management and reporting, using effective management information systems, ensuring this meets CSSA’s requirements.
Collaboration/Networks.
· Contribute to strategic level initiatives with key partners, particularly the Catholic Safeguarding Standards Agency (CSSA) and relevant statutory agencies, to ensure joint planning, access to resources and the development of interagency strategies.
· Build strong and dynamic relationships and networks within and outside the Church to deliver better outcomes for Religious in safeguarding.
Policy and Procedure
· Ensure a robust and up to date Policy & Procedure framework approved by the Board is in place including HR, Health and Safety, Data Protection and operational delivery.
· Ensure there is a system in place to review approved policies and procedures to ensure that substantial changes or additions are brought to the Board for decision.
· Undertake operating compliance exercises including annual risk assessments, health and safety checks and reporting on incidents and near misses.

· In conjunction with the Board of Directors, develop a long-term funding strategy, including gathering data, completing research, developing models to ensure the service is cost effective.
· Agree and deliver to budget maintaining a reserve level in line with policy and monitor all budgets and provide financial reports to the Board of Directors.
· Be responsible and accountable for all finances and resources within the teams, ensuring value for money, the avoidance of waste, and the efficient and effective use of all resources.
· Ensure the equitable and timely allocation of work, assuring the most appropriate interventions that timescales are being met and appropriate records maintained.
· Be responsible for all contracts, tenancy agreements and leases.
· Have overall responsibility for the security of confidential information, use of computers and database information.

To successfully lead the Grants team and raise voluntary income from a range of Grantmakers including Trusts, Foundations and local Government grant funders contributing to an overall team target of £1-million +. Working effectively with a grants team of three, and across the organisation, you will meet team annual targets of circa £675,000 through finding new opportunities, building excellent relationships with funders and managing the team effectively. This will lead to more young people reached by Eikon’s services.
Responsibilities
Income generation
· Lead responsibility for raising current annual team target of £675,000 for restricted and unrestricted income
· Work to agreed metrices including an annual target of £220,000 - £250,000/year with a pipeline including statutory, national & regional grant funders (some being invite only).
· Develop and lead networking plan (internal/external) to secure long-term grant and statutory funding opportunities to help increase financial income year on year.
Account Management
· Lead a stewardship framework, ensuring excellent account management of funders across the team (including own portfolio)
· Lead plans for the year, thinking creatively to develop new engagement opportunities such as panels, breakfast meetings and other events
· Collaborate with other leads and managers in the team to maximise opportunities through relationships, for example Major Donors, Corporate partnerships and Individual Givers.
Management
· Line management two staff members (Senior Grants Fundraiser and Trust Fundraiser), creating a positive and supportive working culture supporting them to meet their targets
· Lead on managing pipeline information on Donorfy, being able to pull reports for information and analysis including:
o Provision of data and narrative for monthly team meetings
o Contribution to Board reporting with narrative and pipeline information

Quality and standards
· Ensure all staff and volunteers understand and deliver within Eikon’s safeguarding policies and practices when taking part in fundraising activities.

Your Mo-Mission (should you choose to accept it):
Movember has an ambitious five-year strategy, and this nine-month contract role sits right at the heart of making it happen. As Project Manager, Global Fundraising, you'll be the connective tissue between Movember's global and local fundraising teams, keeping complex, multi-workstream initiatives moving on time, on scope, and on target across every market we operate in.
Working closely with the Global Director of Mass Fundraising, the Global Director of Markets, the Interim CEO, and the Campaign Steering Committee, you'll help design and deliver the annual Global Campaign Plan, manage the cross-functional Campaign squad, and develop fundraising initiatives that local teams across six markets can actually bring to life. That means building clear briefs, practical toolkits, and implementation guidance that translate global ambition into local execution, and then partnering with those local teams to make sure they have everything they need to succeed.
On any given day you might be managing project plans and timelines, facilitating steering committee sessions, identifying risks before they become problems, tracking KPIs across markets, or supporting the Interim CEO on organisation-wide delivery of the One Mo Plan. You'll also shape and embed best-practice project management methodologies that scale, and lead retrospectives that make Movember smarter year after year.
This is a global role, and that means some out-of-hours collaboration across time zones is part of the deal. Based in London and reporting to the Global Director of Fundraising, this is a full-time, nine-month fixed-term contract for someone who combines genuine fundraising expertise with serious project management discipline, and who thrives on bringing order to complexity without losing sight of the mission.
No Moustache Required - but the following are:
5+ years of experience across project management and fundraising, with a track record of delivering complex, multi-workstream projects on time and to target
Proven experience designing and delivering fundraising initiatives, including the development of toolkits, briefs and implementation resources for local market teams
Strong experience working with cross-functional or geographically dispersed teams, with the ability to coordinate and align across time zones and organisational levels
An influential stakeholder manager, comfortable negotiating, challenging, and bringing people along at all levels, including senior leadership and local market leads
An excellent communicator: clear, calm, and confident presenting to a range of audiences including international stakeholders and board-level leadership
Strong attention to detail without losing sight of the bigger picture
A creative, pragmatic and solutions-focused mindset, with the ability to balance global consistency with local market flexibility
Proficiency in project management tools, preferably Asana, alongside platforms such as Box and Salesforce
Not Mission Critical - but for extra bonus points:
Experience working in a global organisation with cross-market fundraising responsibilities
Familiarity with CRM best practice, particularly Salesforce, in a fundraising or campaign context

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Head of Communications is a senior role responsible for shaping and delivering Start Network’s communications strategy—externally and internally—to strengthen organisational influence, impact and coherence across all audiences. The role provides leadership to a global hybrid and remote working communications team, including direct line management responsibilities.
The role is responsible for ensuring an integrated, audience-led approach to communications that effectively engages key stakeholders and advances organisational priorities. The role will also oversee the delivery of key publications and act as our brand champion, ensuring that our outputs, messaging and communications are consistently on-brand, clear, compelling and aligned with our values and strategic objectives.
As part of the Impact and Change Directorate, the role will work with colleagues across Policy, Advocacy and External Affairs, Evidence and Learning, and Systems Innovation and Change in positioning Start Network as a leading agent of change, translating evidence and learning into compelling communications that influence policy, practice and funding across the humanitarian system.
The role plays a critical part in strengthening Start Network’s profile, influence and thought leadership across the global humanitarian system.

RIVET is seeking a strategic, relationship-driven fundraiser to grow, steward, and activate a community of ~100 donors, focused on high-net-worth individuals and family foundations. As we scale towards a future powered by Gen Z, RIVET’s philanthropic community plays a critical role in funding, advising, and growing this movement.
The Director of Philanthropy leads RIVET’s fundraising and donor engagement strategy - responsible for securing significant philanthropic investment while stewarding a highly engaged network of families and individuals. Working closely with the CEO, Impact, and Marketing teams, you will lead on frontline fundraising and manage a robust donor pool to ensure members feel deeply connected to RIVET’s mission, people, and impact. This is a hands-on role for someone who is excited to shape a global philanthropic community. RIVET currently has four offerings: Leadership Council (for families), Youth Impact Council (designed for individuals), Youth Impact Fund (for family foundations), and Social Innovator Accelerator (for firms).
This new, evolved role will focus on three work streams:
Drive philanthropic revenue: Lead frontline fundraising across the organization by identifying and developing a donor pipeline, moving prospects through the cultivation cycle, and closing gifts.
