The Role

As our Community Connections Co-ordinator, you will inspire faith communities and churches across the South West to get involved. Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage Communities: Network with churches and faith groups to promote volunteering.
  • Manage Volunteers: Oversee recruitment, induction, training, and retention.
  • Deliver Training: Upskill local congregations to work safely and effectively with people who have convictions, using SWCC resources.
  • Build Safe Spaces: Identify and cultivate welcoming community networks for our clients.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our Chaplains and other staff to map out local volunteer opportunities.

 What we are looking for:

  • Faith Alignment: You actively embrace the faith ethos and values of SWCC (Occupational Requirement).
