You’ll ensure our voice is heard where it matters most – across government, healthcare systems, and key stakeholders – to drive meaningful improvements in outcomes for people living with CF.

• Ensuring our work is grounded in the lived experiences of people with cystic fibrosis

Role Summary

We are looking for a Prospect Development Officer to join our highly successful prospect development team, working in partnership with our fundraising team to manage their prospect pools and portfolios. You will provide insight and advice on donors, trusts, foundations, corporations, and other organizations, collating and reviewing data and writing concise and informative reports for the fundraising team and senior stakeholders within the University. About NUMbrella Lane: NUMbrella Lane (NBL) is one of few sex worker-led services in Scotland. It has been operating since 2022 after National Ugly Mugs (NUM) took over aspects of the programming from the charity that ran Umbrella Lane. Since then, the project has evolved to provide in-person health and wellbeing support to Scotland-based sex workers and host events and outings within the community with a focus on community connectivity, reducing isolation and addressing root causes of interpersonal and intersectional violence.

Role Summary: The main purpose of the Vocational Support Delivery and Development Assistant is to provide trauma-informed, non-judgemental vocational support to sex workers in Scotland. Support members to access tools, resources and pathways to income stability, career development and community-based opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1:1 and group-based vocational support (CVs, learning pathways, financial literacy) in person and online
• Facilitate workshops and peer-led sessions
• Run regular in person drop in sessions, responding to community needs
• Connect members with suitable training, employment, or educational opportunities.
• Assist with developing bespoke tools and resources in response to feedback
• Capture member progress via NUM’s evaluation frameworks and build a case study library
• Contribute to cross-team collaboration (casework, mental health, drop-ins) and promote services to members

Base & logistics: Activities are delivered UK-wide via a digital platform, remote services, and in-person hubs. Staff work on a hybrid basis, with the balance of home and location based working based on business needs .This role is primarily in person at our Glasgow venue, with occasional travel possible for meetings, events, and outreach. Concern UK operates a flexible hybrid working policy, which can be a mix of home and office working. However, due to the nature of this role, the post‑holder may be required to attend the Belfast office more frequently and travel to meet corporate partners, donors, and attend networking or external events.

As a specialist charity supporting survivors of sexual violence across twelve South London boroughs, we provide counselling, group therapy, advocacy, prevention education, and professional training. With an annual income of approximately £4 million, we are growing and strengthening our infrastructure to better serve survivors and communities.

About the Role

We are seeking a Brief Intervention ISVA to deliver rapid, flexible, trauma‑informed support to survivors. This role ensures survivors receive immediate, equitable assistance while navigating the criminal justice system or waiting for longer-term support.

• Provide short‑term crisis intervention (up to 3 months)

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Helpline Advisor to support victims of crime at the growing National Contact Centre team in Cardiff.

This is a casual position, and applicants must be able to commit to a minimum of 2 x 7.5 hours shifts per month. The shifts will mainly be evenings and weekends to cover staff absence and busy periods.

This role is based at our National Contact Centre in Cardiff. You will need to commit to a 2 week induction program, which will run Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm.

As a Helpline Adviser you will:

• Able to respond to victims of and those affected by crime by providing emotional support, information and referrals on to Victim Support services and other agencies
• Providing immediate support, advice and trauma first aid referrals to victims of and those affected by major incidents and terrorism.
• Seamlessly working across multiple services with different processes, procedures and recording mechanisms.

• Responsible for taking disclosures and responding appropriately by either escalating the safeguarding concern to the 'Designated Safeguarding Officer' or to respond immediately to life threatening situations.

About the Role

As a Team Leader you will ensure excellent service delivery in accordance with the service specification and performance targets. You will need to be able to support operational staff to deliver high quality, risk led and tailored support. You will focus on the performance management of team members including the allocation and auditing of cases in line with service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for completing case audits, reviews and reviewing data to ensure oversight of teams
• Responsible for capturing data and evidence around the outcomes of the service
• Responsible for allocating work across the wider team - analysing data to monitor patterns, trends and comparing these to resources
• Be a designated safeguarding officer, available to make defensible decisions quickly and effectively on safeguarding matters ensuring the dignity, safety and security of victims is at the heart of your work. This will also include providing guidance and support to staff.
• Work with the Operations Manager to ensure excellent service delivery in line with business plans by reviewing data and information to effectively address any performance issues.
• Responsible for the line management of team members including responsibility for recruitment, training completion, performance management and monitoring, continued support and guidance and implementing all relevant VS policies and procedures
• Promote effective communication channels including co-ordinating and facilitating regular team meetings, sharing feedback and learning to share with other colleagues.
• Represent the service and victims at external events including HRDA, DA forums etc where needed.

About You:

You will hold an approved and accredited IDVA qualification and will ideally have had previous line management experience and be confident leading a team.

You will need:

• A strong understanding of domestic abuse and violence and the impact this has on victims.
• Experience of working in a challenging and changing environment with an emphasis on customer focus and excellence in service delivery.
• Demonstrable experience of providing crisis management, support and guidance in sometimes stressful and difficult situations to a team with a client service focus.

Job Title: Floating Support Worker

Location: Warwickshire
Salary: £15,514.27 per annum
Contract type: Part Time, Permanent

Hours: 22.5 hours per week

This is an opportunity to join Refuge as a Floating Support Worker to provide high quality practical and emotional support to survivors of domestic abuse and their children living in our dispersed refuge accommodation in Warwickshire. This service will provide emergency accommodation across Warwickshire with high-quality domestic abuse support, ‘by-and-for’ services for survivors of domestic abuse and their children. 

The post holder will provide high quality support and safety planning to survivors and their children who are fleeing domestic abuse. This includes enabling survivors to access housing, welfare, benefits and legal advice.  A key requirement is to provide personal welfare support and to ensure that survivors are provided with a safe, supportive and welcoming environment in accordance with Refuge’s philosophical principles.

The Floating Support Worker (FSW) will carry a caseload of survivors of domestic abuse to enable them to provide a more holistic and intensive support package. They will work closely with survivors from the point of crisis through to move on from the emergency accommodation. FSWs will work in partnership with both statutory and voluntary sector partners to ensure that the whole range of survivors’ needs are met.

As part of this role, you will be required to participate in an out-of-hours on call rota.

This post is restricted to women due to the nature of the role. The Occupational Requirement under Schedule 9 (part 1) of the Equality Act 2010 applies.
