We're looking for a kind, compassionate and resilient Service Charge Analyst located at our Head Office in Islington.

£35,000.00 per annum (pro rata), working 35 hours per week.

Fixed Term Contract for 6 months.

To play a key role in Look Ahead's review of service charge structures across its commissioned and non-commissioned housing portfolio.

They will draft new service charge schedules, provide clear written rationales for all proposed charges, and liaise directly with local authorities and housing benefit to explain and agree new charges for 2026-27.

What you'll do:

Review and Rebuild Service Charge Budgets

• Lead on the zero-based review of existing rent and service charge budgets across Look Ahead's full housing portfolio.

Draft and Implement New Service Charges Schedules

• Produce accurate and transparent service charges schedules for each scheme, distinguishing between eligible and ineligible costs in line with housing benefit guidance and provide summary rationale for each cost element.

Liaise with Local Authorities, Housing Benefit Teams and Owning Landlords

• Act as key contact for Housing Benefit teams, representing Look Ahead in rent and service discussion for 2026-27.

Collaboration and Internal Coordination

• Working closely with finance colleagues to align service charges budgets with proposed schedules for 2026-27.

Compliance, Reporting and Improvement

• Ensure full compliance with DWP guidance (including circulars A4/2014 and A1/2023), HB regulations, and Regulator of Social Housing requirements.

About you:

• Highly organised, able to manage competing priorities and deliver to tight deadlines in a time-limited role.
• Analytical and methodical, with a strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate, auditable records.

Essential:

• Substantial experience reviewing or setting service charges within supported or social housing.
• Proven experience preparing enhanced Housing Benefit claims and engaging directly with local authority housing benefit teams.

Key responsibilities

 Data management & systems

• Act as the primary system administrator for RSBC’s key databases
• Maintain high standards of data accuracy, hygiene and documentation

JOB PURPOSE  

The Business Analyst will strengthen how we work by improving processes, systems, and the way we use data. This is a hands-on role, working closely with multiple teams across the organisation to identify challenges and develop solutions that are practical, proportionate, reflect the day-to-day realities of the working environment and are aligned with our values. For a large international organisation, we are recruiting a Group FP&A Manager to deliver group-level MI, planning and forecasting. This role will oversee and produce high-quality financial reporting, Flash results, monthly MI, quarterly business reviews (QBRs), long-term planning, and will review and validate insight-led analysis to support decision-making. Reporting to the Impact Director, the Grants Manager will manage an annual grants programme of approximately £3 million, overseeing the full grants lifecycle from application and assessment through to monitoring, evaluation and learning. You will build strong relationships with funded partners, prepare robust funding recommendations for Trustees, and ensure our grant‑making is effective, proportionate and aligned with best practice.

You will also line manage an Impact Executive (0.4 FTE) and work closely with colleagues across the organisation to share learning, evidence impact and support wider fundraising and advocacy work.

About you

You will bring:

• Experience working in a charity, trust or grant‑making environment
• Proven experience managing grant programmes and the full grants lifecycle
• Strong analytical and organisational skills, with confidence reviewing budgets and financial information
• Experience using grant management or CRM systems
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
• A collaborative, proactive approach and a strong commitment to improving outcomes for seafarers

Knowledge of the maritime or fishing sectors, experience working with Trustees, or relevant professional training is welcomed but not essential.

We’re looking for a driven and relationship-focused Corporate Partnerships Manager – Pharmaceuticals to lead and grow our work with the pharmaceutical sector. In this role, you’ll manage and develop high-value partnerships, secure significant income (c.£500k annually), and identify new opportunities that support groundbreaking research and services for people affected by blood cancer. You’ll be a confident communicator with a strong track record in high-value fundraising, or equivalent transferable experience, and skilled at building relationships at all levels. Regular travel to our London office and donor meetings will be required, typically once or twice per month, or as the role demands.

The role

As Housing Operations Manager you will oversee both the ongoing supported housing operations and be tasked to bring improvement and consistency of delivery. We have a vision to grow our women’s housing provision over the next five years and this role will be key in developing an impacting and financially sustainable supported housing model.

The focus of the role includes:

• Building high quality, financially sustainable and well-led housing communities
• Ensuring smooth daily running of Keychange supported housing operations, led by sector compliance
• Managing community managers and building relationships for collaborative impact with internal and external stakeholders
• Building a model of support for housing to increase best practice and consistency
• Creating partnerships with other organisations to enable the delivery of support

About you

We are looking for a values-led manager who brings:

• Experience in managing supported housing provisions, with good knowledge of Supported Housing and Ofsted regulations and sector best practice
• Experience of managing people, providing leadership and empowering development to a team delivering housing support
• Proven ability to build positive relationships effectively with internal stakeholders, external partner agencies and local authorities
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and find solutions to operational challenges
• Ability to travel up to 40 days per year

services professional to help develop our student experience. You will join a small and dedicated
community of professionals at Fourth Monkey. Your specific responsibility will be to develop our
support services for students from general advice to disability support. We are a small training
establishment and offer actor/maker CertHE and BA degrees. You will join a Student Experience and
Academic Services team.

We are looking for a compassionate and thoughtful person interested in providing support to a diverse
community of artists. You might be someone looking to step up into a management role or you might
be stepping away from a larger university. You’ll have experience in one or more areas of student
services and have been involved in supporting students experiencing difficult times. You will help us
with imaginative ways of sourcing help for students and the role will mean you work with the whole
Fourth Monkey team from the teaching practitioners to fundraising. Experience of working with
creative arts students would be helpful but is not essential. Experience of supporting students is
essential.

This is a revised role designed to support Fourth Monkey in creating appropriate arrangements to
support the student experience and work closely with staff supporting the academic experience,
admissions and Fourth Monkey’s practitioners leading and delivering our courses. The role will include
individual delivery of support for students, signposting them to online and digital support services
offered by Falmouth University and developing and extending our own support services for students. It
is essential that the post-holder has experience of implementing (at whatever level of support)
appropriate safeguarding procedures to support students, including those with mental health crises.
