Overview/Purpose
To lead, deliver and continuously improve a programme of work that communicates the long-term environmental and social impact of a major infrastructure asset in London. Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Strategy
- Develop and evolve the organisation's impact and sustainability strategy to reflect its transition from infrastructure delivery to asset management.

Support Coordinator

The Role
The service aims to identify and address the needs of stroke survivors and carers whose lives are affected by aphasia, by providing a range of innovative support solutions, supporting them to meet their desired outcomes. A key part of the role will be to support service users and the delivery of the service.
Reporting to the Stroke Service Delivery Coach, the Stroke Support Coordinator will:
- Supporting new stroke survivors and their carers from hospital discharge into the community.
- Provide personalised information, advice and support.
- Enable stroke survivors to make informed lifestyle changes, which will help them to prevent further strokes.
- Work with other health and social care professionals across the stroke pathway to ensure high quality support.
About You
Knowledge, skills and experience you will ideally have:
- Background in a caring profession, ideally supporting people with disabilities.
- Excellent IT skills and an ability to maintain accurate records.
- An affinity with the values of the Stroke Association.
- A flexible approach and an ability to effectively manage a caseload.

Sounds great, what will I be doing?
In this role, the individual will work as part of a multidisciplinary team—alongside clinicians, social workers, and community partners—to support adults with moderate to severe mental illness. They will hold a caseload of service users, acting as the key contact and contributing to care planning, progress monitoring, and discharge support using the clinical records system. A key focus will be the collaborative development of person-centred recovery plans that emphasise social goals and community integration. Using trauma-informed and strength-based approaches, they will build strong therapeutic relationships to support individuals in achieving their personal recovery goals. The role involves helping service users access local resources, attend appointments, and engage in wellbeing activities, peer support, or psychoeducational groups. They will promote recovery-focused, jargon-free communication, advocate for co-production and integrated care, and liaise with statutory and voluntary sector organisations to ensure smooth service navigation and warm handovers. Attendance at relevant clinical meetings and community events is expected, representing both Hestia and the Community Mental Health Team. Accurate and timely documentation of support activities, risk assessments, and user progress is essential, along with maintaining safe and ethical practice in line with safeguarding protocols, health and safety procedures, and quality standards. The role also includes active participation in ongoing supervision, training, professional development, annual appraisals, and clinical oversight.

Excellent communication, IT proficiency (including electronic case management tools), and the ability to work both independently and in a team are essential. This is an opportunity to join Refuge as a Service Manager to lead on the delivery of high-quality services to the women and their children living in our refuges and survivors of domestic abuse supported by our community outreach service.
We are recruiting for Service Manager who is passionate about supporting survivors who are impacted by domestic abuse and other gender-based crimes. This is a multifaceted, fast paced, and exciting role where you will join our team in Derby to lead on the delivery and development of high-quality refuge and outreach services for survivors of domestic abuse and other gender-based crimes.
Our service provision in Derby includes culturally specific service for South Asian women as well as a specialist multiple disadvantage support worker who support survivors facing enhanced needs.
The post holder will provide line management and support to the accommodation based and the outreach service staff. This will include providing supervision on complex and high-risk cases, overseeing operational emergencies, and ensuring high standards of casework. You will also ensure that all service users in refuges and the outreach service always receive a high-quality support service in line with Refuge’s policies and procedures.
The Service Manager will lead on the delivery of the multiagency aspect of work, working jointly with the Refuge teams and wider stakeholders to deliver best services to the survivors.
Candidates must have proven experience of providing direct emotional and practical support to vulnerable people, managing, and motivating staff, managing casework as well as working within multiagency setting. In addition, you must have an excellent knowledge of domestic abuse and other gender-based violence and its impact on survivors.
You will have knowledge of relevant criminal and civil law legislation, as well as Housing and Health and Safety legislation.
As member of the management team, you will be required to participate in an out-of-hours on call management service.
The service manager will be responsible for ensuring that contractual and other funding requirements are met fully, this includes ensuring that the services operate within the allocated budget and that Refuge’s high-quality standards are maintained. The role may involve visiting potential sites and contributing to the establishment of new services in conjunction with the development team.
The job involves working closely with staff that support survivors and their children who are experiencing domestic abuse and other gender-based violence.

Women at the Well is a support service for women based in the King’s Cross area of central London. We provide practical support and advocacy to women facing a wide range of disadvantages, and we have a specialism in working with women whose lives have been affected by prostitution and/or sexual exploitation. Qualification:
- Relevant qualification in childcare at a minimum Level 4.

Knowledge and Experience:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience of managing a Nursery with experience of all the relevant duties, monitoring, reporting and quality improvement.
- Experience of being the main contact for Ofsted.
- A track record of working collaboratively with colleagues, partners and stakeholders to develop successful partnerships, growth, and achieve joint success.
- Strong experience of planning ahead, scheduling, attention to detail and problem solving.

About the role:
This role is based in the Victim Help Centre, in St Asaph, North Wales and working in liaison with North Wales Police and other relevant agencies.
- In this position you will contact Victims by telephone to undertake a comprehensive needs assessment and commission a range of services to support identified needs if appropriate. You will refer victims to partner agencies and contact approved suppliers to deliver services to victims. You will also direct referrals to appropriate colleagues to allocate Victim Support workers for further support.
- You will identify and manage the victims immediate service needs and contribute towards risk assessment processes and following agreed safe contact processes and recording all contact securely.
- The nature of service required will vary depending on individual circumstances and specified outcomes will be achieved through building trust and confidence with victims who will be vulnerable and have complex needs.
- Level 4 Welsh Language skills and the ability to communicate fluently through the medium of Welsh is essential for this role.

The Bexley SASS team provides advocacy and support to survivors of domestic and sexual abuse living in Bexley. An exciting opportunity has arisen in this busy team for a Young Persons Independent Domestic Violence Adviser. You will support 16 to 25 year olds with crisis intervention, risk assessment, safety planning, assessment of needs and individual support planning.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced advocate to join our dynamic team in Bexley, working with survivors who have experienced domestic violence and abuse. You will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team and collaborating with external agencies in your work. In this role you will work as part of the Bexley Solace Advocacy and Support Service (SASS), providing support to young survivors of domestic abuse in the borough. In addition to this, you will work in partnership with Children Social Care, Education, Health and Mental Health to ensure effective support for survivors coming through these services.
About You
You will need a thorough understanding of domestic abuse and its impact on women and their children, as well as experience of providing emotional and practical support and strong casework management skills.
You will have the skills to provide effective crisis intervention, carry out the children’s risk assessment where appropriate, safety planning, assessment of needs and individual support planning. You should have demonstrable experience of working in an IDVA or similar position with this or a similar client group.
You will be highly organised, self-motivated, and passionate about ending gender-based violence. You will have a “can-do‟ approach and demonstrable commitment to Solace’s feminist approach to supporting women and their children to be safer. You will receive training and support for this role, as necessary.
