About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Deputy Service Manager to join our service based in Romford . Our service is a Independent Approved Premises commissioned by Criminal Justice Service (IAP) based in Havering. You will support residents recently released from prison in a residential setting, helping them reintegrate into the community. In this role, you will support in leading the team by providing overall leadership to the service and line management responsibilities to support, enable, and empower your team to deliver high quality support to our residents.
You will also support some day-to-day team responsibilities, including providing tailored support directly to residents. As a Manager, you will help drive service outcomes in line with contractual requirements, ensuring quality and consistency within a trauma‑ and psychologically informed environment. You will work collaboratively with the team, wider services, and external partners to ensure the service runs smoothly. Following many years of exceptional service, which has seen Durham City Youth Project (DCYP) grow and develop, our current Project Manager (CEO) is stepping down from her post. The DCYP trustees seek to appoint a Professionally Qualified and Experienced Project Manager (CEO) who can demonstrate passion and enthusiasm to lead the Project into the next stage of its development.
DCYP has been supporting children and young people since 1933. We work across County Durham to provide youth work, counselling, sexual health education and wellbeing support for young people aged 8–19, and up to 25 for those with additional needs.
Our mission is to create opportunities that help young people develop confidence, resilience, skills and aspirations while ensuring they have access to trusted adults, positive activities and support when they need it most.

Hours: 35 hours a week to work regular evenings and weekends
Salary: £33k – 37k per annum

About the Role
As Head of Donor Engagement, you will lead Norwood's relationship fundraising strategy across major donors, trusts and foundations, legacy giving and emerging supporter audiences.
Leading a high performing team, you will drive sustainable income growth while building meaningful, long term relationships with supporters.
Working closely with the Director of Fundraising, trustees and senior stakeholders, you will help shape fundraising strategy, strengthen donor pipelines and ensure donor engagement is coordinated and connected across the organisation.

What You'll Do
De‑escalate mental health crises linked to gambling behaviours with calm, confidence and compassion
Hold your own caseload, offering bespoke 1:1 support around gambling, mental health, finances, housing and more
Co‑produce psychoeducation workshops exploring root causes of gambling harm
Create safe, meaningful peer‑led spaces for affected others and loved ones
Engage in outreach across Hounslow, connecting communities to support
Collaborate with NHS, Public Health and internal teams to deliver integrated care
Ensure accurate documentation and safeguarding practice, aligned with policy and legislation
Finalise case reports with clear preventative outcomes and insights
What We're Looking For

East Sussex Transitional Housing is a low-support service, providing safe, secure, supported accommodation for 98 young people between the ages of 18-25 who have been, or are, at risk of homelessness. We have a small, supportive, and established team which manages 18 housing properties across, Eastbourne, Bexhill and Hastings. We adopt a trauma informed and psychologically informed approach to supporting our residents to help them build essential life skills, identify their goals and work towards aspirations so that they can move on to enjoy fully independent futures.
You will be based at the YMCA office in Eastbourne but will be visiting our 7 properties around Eastbourne each week, meeting with residents in their homes and at the office.
