About the Role

You will oversee day-to-day facilities management, planned and reactive maintenance, contractor management, health and safety, utilities, procurement and facilities-related projects. Working closely with colleagues across Solace, you will help ensure our working environments are efficient, compliant, trauma-informed and fit for purpose.

About You

You will have experience in facilities management, premises management or a similar operational role, with a strong understanding of health and safety, compliance, contractor coordination and service delivery. You will bring a practical, solutions-focused approach and the ability to manage competing priorities calmly and effectively.

You will be confident working with landlords, contractors, suppliers and internal teams, ensuring issues are resolved promptly and standards are maintained across our sites.

Role Summary 

The main function of the Careers Coordinator (Work Experience) role is to develop, support and deliver Into Film’s Screen Careers Work Experience programmes. Screen Careers covers film, TV, animation, VFX and games. The postholder will work closely with the Careers Lead, Industry Partnerships Lead and other members of Into Film staff who conceive, create and deliver our Screen Careers Programme.

The Careers Coordinator will primarily manage work experience programmes across the four nations of the UK (outside of the ScreenWorks programme in Northern Ireland) but will also support the careers team with various other deliverables across the programme including but not limited to events with young people, development of resources and training for careers professionals, supporting development of ‘direct to young people’ content, and exhibiting at careers conferences UK-wide. The role will have a focus on reaching those young people who are underserved and under-represented.

Main Responsibilities:

• As directed by the Careers Lead, support the implementation of the Screen Careers Work Experience programmes throughout the UK alongside local activation coordinators.
• Liaise with industry professionals across the four nations to co-deliver work experience programmes.
• Create documentation and resources that can be adapted per location to support work experience programmes.
• Manage a budget for work experience programmes.
• Support the Careers Lead and Industry Partnerships Lead to manage stakeholders and industry partner relationships utilising Salesforce, our Customer Relationship Management tool.
• Monitor and evaluate the programme utilising internal and external feedback to help shape future Screen Careers annual programme plans.
• Contribute to quarterly reports to funders and the Into Film board.
• Assist the Careers Lead and UK-wide activation team to plan and deliver Screen Careers events.
• Support the Learning Content Creation team with the development of Screen Careers resources, training and courses.
• With support from the Safeguarding and Child Protection team, manage the safeguarding and consent processes for work experience programmes.
• Any other reasonable duties assigned by Into Film.

General Responsibilities:

Person Specification:

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience, knowledge and understanding of the careers education, information, advice and guidance landscape for 11–18-year-olds across the four nations of the UK.
• At least one year's experience working on work experience programmes in education settings or the screen industries.
• Understanding and experience of what careers professionals and educators need in order to support young people to explore the breath of opportunities in the screen industries, particularly those currently underrepresented in the industry.
• Experience, knowledge and understanding of the screen industries across the UK.
• Understanding of how AI may impact careers for young people.
• Organisational project management skills including a particularly strong eye for attention to detail, strong communication style and the ability to juggle multiple projects.
• Strong collaborative skills working across multiple teams and disciplines.
• Strong evaluation and reporting skills.
• Experience of event management and high-profile engagement.
• Knowledge of fundraising and how Into Film’s careers work could feed into successful applications.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office.

We are seeking an experienced Associate Trainer to deliver high-quality training and workshops across Northern Ireland on behalf of Ygam. You will be skilled at adapting training delivery to meet the needs of different audiences and contexts, ensuring sessions are inclusive, engaging and responsive to participant needs.

Main Role and Responsibilities

You will be responsible for delivering training across Ygam’s portfolio of programmes, including education, youth work, health, social care, community and sporting sectors.

You will lead workshops and training both online and face to face. The role will support professionals, parents, carers and young people to understand and help prevent gaming and gambling harms. It will focus on using education to increase awareness of the social, environmental and commercial influences, including the practices of the industries, that can shape behaviours and increase the risk of harm among young people.

A crucial element of your role will be updating all relevant records and CRM systems.

Role Requirements

Duties will include but not be limited to:

Delivery 

· Deliver the Ygam portfolio of workshops (online and face to face)

· Provide high-quality training to a range of professionals and young people in line with Ygam’s quality standards and facilitator guidance

· Be responsive to delegates needs, providing excellent customer service and answering questions and queries in a supportive manner

· Provide regular feedback on training materials, recommending adjustments if needed for Northern Ireland

· Escalate safeguarding, wellbeing or reputational concerns promptly in accordance with Ygam policies and procedures

· Act as an ambassador for Ygam, ensuring all interactions with delegates and stakeholders reflect organisational values and professional standards

· Highlight further training and / or partnership opportunities for Engagement Managers through workshops and delegate contact.

Planning 

· Work with Engagement Managers to schedule delivery

Person Specification 

Essential:

· Experience delivering training online and face to face training to both adults, children and young people

· Proficiency with online delivery and experience using MS Teams and Zoom to facilitate online learning

· Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and maintain high standards of organisation

· Understanding of safeguarding principles and their application within education, youth, health or community settings

· Ability to explain complex topics such as gaming risks, online behaviours and digital harms in a clear and accessible way.

· Public speaking experience

· Prior experience of working in education, public health or youth services, with a detailed understanding of children and young people’s services

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Strong IT skills (MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint especially)

About the Role
