We are looking for a Global Senior Prospect Research Manager to support the Global Philanthropy Team, to build a high-quality prospect pipeline to support fundraising growth, for an incredible animal welfare charity.

This is a hybrid working role, with two days per week in the Surrey office.

This role is reporting to the Associate Director, Global Philanthropy and will oversee:

• Prospect Research -Leading and strengthening the global prospect research function, ensuring it effectively supports ethical fundraising growth across key markets.
• High Potential Prospects-Identifying, researching and prioritising high-potential prospects from Salesforce and other sources, working closely with colleagues in CRM & Insights.
• Profile Creation-Producing clear, high-quality prospect research profiles to support donor cultivation, relationship development and strategic decision-making.
• Ethical Screening -Leading on due diligence and ethical screening, ensuring a consistent and rigorous approach across donors and markets.
• Data and Reporting-Using data, insight and reporting to analyse prospect pool, identify new donor opportunities and support accurate, compliant donor records.

About you:

You will need to bring strong prospect research experience, from an international fundraising team or comparable environment, alongside a good understanding of global philanthropy trends, donor behaviour and ethical fundraising practice.

You'll have to be confident in turning research into clear, useful insight for fundraisers, with the ability to build strong working relationships across teams and communicate findings in a way that supports action.

You'll also have excellent attention to detail and the ability to self-manage a varied workload in a busy, values-led environment.

Job summary

We're looking for an organised, proactive individual to own the day-to-day running of our grant pipeline. This will range from researching grant opportunities and drafting applications, through to managing compliance, tracking grant finances, and delivering funder reports. You’ll be working closely with the Founder and School Engagement Manager.

Grant applications

• Research new grant opportunities and maintain accurate records of live grants and deadlines.
• Draft and submit grant applications, with support from the Founder.
• Coordinate with the School Engagement Manager to identify eligible schools and handover successful grants for delivery.

Grant administration, finances and compliance

• Manage grant conditions, compliance and funder reporting from award through to close.
• Monitor spend against grant budgets and flag underspend or overspend.
• Support the development of improved operations and processes for grant management.
• Identify new income streams and fundraising opportunities.

Essential criteria

• Organised, detail-oriented and independent.
• Experience in grant administration, fundraising support, or charity operations.
• Confident written communicator.
• Comfortable managing finances at the level of budget tracking and reporting.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote, small-team environment.
• Proficient with digital tools.

Desirable criteria

• Experience writing grant applications, particularly for charitable trusts, foundations, or public sector funders.

Support Coordinator

Position: 000031 Stroke Association Support Coordinator

Location: Home-based, Birmingham & Solihull. However, extensive travel across the region will be required as part of this role (will include team meetings and other work-related meetings)

Salary: Circa £17,000 per annum (FTE circa £28,300 per annum)

The Role

Reporting to the Stroke Association Service Delivery Coach, the coordinator will work with the local Health and Social Care services to receive referrals and support stroke survivors and their carers. As a coordinator you will provide personalised information, advice and support with regular reviews throughout.

Key responsibilities will include:

· Working with the local Health and Social services to receive referrals to support stroke survivors and their careers.

· Providing personalised information, advice and support to address any needs identified.

· Completing Needs Assessments with stroke survivors and supporting them to develop a stroke recovery plan.

· Providing regular reviews to support people in establishing and achieving their own personal goals

About You

You will:

· Have a background in a caring and/or charity profession supporting people with disabilities.

· Be able to demonstrate previous experience of working collaboratively with other organisations to achieve joint ambitions.

· Have experience of working with people who may have additional communication support needs.

· Be proficient in using Microsoft applications, including Word and Excel and experience using IT systems to record and maintain beneficiary data.

The Role

Key responsibilities will include:

Stroke Support Worker

We are looking for an empathetic, adaptable individual, experienced in person centred support to work with stroke survivors and their loved ones on the stroke ward in Doncaster Royal Infirmary.

Position: 000029 Stroke Support Worker

Location: Homebased, Doncaster, South Yorkshire. However, travel will be required twice weekly to Doncaster Royal Infirmary as part of this role (and occasional wider travel may include team meetings or other work-related meetings)

Hours: 21 - 28 hours per week with a minimum of 21 hours. The exact weekly hours (up to 28) will be agreed with the successful candidate

Salary: £17,000 – £22,600 per annum depending on hours (FTE circa £28,340.58)

Contract: 12 month fixed term contract

The Role

This work is part of a project (the Integrated Offer), exploring the needs and ongoing connection for people affected by stroke in hospital and beyond.

The role will involve delivering person-centred stroke support in the hospital setting, while working with the Integrated Offer team to test and implement new approaches. The areas we aim to deliver and test are:

· Deliver person centred conversations with people affected by stroke on the acute ward.

· Following an initial conversation, test how people affected by stroke connect with the Stroke Association next, and what they connect to.

· Explore how to increase connection with those who are not present on the ward at the same time as us.

(note- we may test some or all the above)

To support flexible delivery and testing, you'll also develop your skills by providing phone support to people affected by stroke.

The role includes working in Doncaster Royal Infirmary starting with twice weekly visits, for 3 hours per session. These sessions can be any time after 11am.  The length, timing and cadence of the sessions may need to adjust as this is a test and we will be led by what works for the hospital and people affected by stroke.

Occasional overnight stays may be required. 

About You

Key skills/experience: 

· Experience of communicating directly with people affected by stroke, either on the phone or face to face. 

· Experienced in person centred support Emotional intelligence and good judgement skills

· Effective listening skills with the ability to communicate clearly at a time where emotions may be heightened.

· High levels of emotional resilience to handle complex situations whilst working in a hospital environment.

· Ability to embrace the principles of coaching and reflective practice to drive continuous improvement.

The Director, Global HR Operations and Compliance is a critical leadership role within the Human Resources function, responsible for advancing HR operational excellence, strengthening global compliance, and supporting the continued evolution of our people practices. With seven global offices and Employer of Record (EOR) arrangements in thirteen countries, this position provides strategic leadership and oversight for Vital's global HR operations, compliance framework, and employee services, ensuring consistent, efficient, and legally compliant HR practices across all locations.

The Director will lead the development and implementation of inclusive policies, procedures, and best practices; provide guidance on global employment actions and employee relations matters; support workforce expansion into new countries; and oversee global compensation, benefits, and HR governance programs. This role is responsible for identifying and mitigating employment-related risks while ensuring a positive employee experience and operational consistency across diverse jurisdictions.

Reporting to the Vice President, Global HR, the Director partners closely with organizational leaders, HR colleagues, legal counsel, country offices, and external partners to strengthen HR infrastructure, optimize systems and processes, and enhance the organization's ability to manage a global workforce effectively. Duties & Responsibilities:

Global HR Operations - 

· Maintain a high-quality global HR operations function, including standardized policies where legally appropriate, standardized processes, technology, systems, tools, forms, and guidelines that are accessible, well understood, and consistently utilized across all offices.

· Balance global organizational standards and compliance requirements with the operational, cultural, and legal realities of individual country offices, ensuring an appropriate and practical approach across diverse environments.

· Build trusted relationships with global office leadership, HR and Country Directors, to encourage transparency, collaboration, and timely sharing of HR-related information necessary for effective operations, risk management, and compliance.

· Partner with, support, and advise global HR team members and Country Directors on HR operational matters; while supporting local HR partners in assuming HR functions locally as appropriate for each office.

· Lead global HR due diligence (terms and conditions of employment, infrastructure and documentation) and manage the maintenance of international office employee handbooks and guides for EOR-hired staff.

· Partner with leadership, programs, and operation teams in opening offices or establishing EORs; as well as closing offices or programs.

· Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements, maintenance of required documentation, and timely responses to HR audits and coordinate with the risk management committee.

· In partnership with local HR teams, lead annual global employee benefits renewals, including plan design, vendor coordination, and budget management.

· Oversee global compensation programs, including salary benchmarking, pay review processes, compensation guidance, and manager training.

· Work with Talent Acquisition, Grants & Contracts and Global Finance to coordinate the annual and reforecast workforce budget.

· Oversee the establishment of EORs and the ongoing vendor/employee/manager relationships.

· Ensure the global HR team is trained in the core HR operational areas, as well as any Vital HR specific procedures and practices.

· Ensure that HR policies, procedures, and compliance documents are accessible to all staff via the organizational intranet “Vital Pulse”.

· Collaborate with HR team to implement, analyze, and maintain operational metrics and people data to inform decision-making and strengthen organizational effectiveness.

· Serve as a key HRIS company administrator and partner to global HR teams, leveraging technology to improve HR operations, reporting, compliance and data integrity.

· Partner with HR and operational leaders to ensure HRIS data accuracy globally, establish effective governance processes, and support local teams in maintaining timely and accurate employee records.

Compliance - 

· In collaboration with Legal and VP HR, ensure that HR processes, policies, recordkeeping, and forms are in compliance with regulations, country and local labor laws, and donor guidelines.

· Oversee policy, process and procedure documentation to ensure consistency, accessibility, and compliance across the organization.

· Conduct spot checks to employee files to ensure audit readiness and compliance; and provide training to HR team members responsible for maintaining documentation.

· Ensure compliance with the Vital global data retention policy for employee data and HR documentation.

· Identify and proactively mitigate HR operational and compliance risks through strong controls, monitoring, documentation practices, and partnership with local offices.

Employee Services - 

· Coordinate the development and maintenance of HR programs and tools, including policies and procedures, SOPs, manuals, management guidelines, and other HR infrastructure to support business units, proposals, and projects.

· Ensure all offices and employees hired through EOR arrangements have access to an HR Help Desk or equivalent support structure with timely communication, responsiveness, and follow-up.

· In consultation with the VP HR and General Counsel, and in coordination with HRBPs, manage complex employee relations matters in a balanced, fair, and objective manner using appropriate counseling, investigative, intervention, and mediation techniques.

· Serve as an internal consultant and facilitator to managers and employees in resolving employment and performance-related issues in collaboration with HR business partners as appropriate.

· In collaboration with the Director of Talent Management and HR Country Teams, ensure timely delivery of training to managers on HR operations, policies, systems, and practices; and support clear communication of Vital HR business practices to employees globally.

· Foster a service-oriented HR culture that emphasizes responsiveness, partnership, trust, consistency, and practical problem-solving across all global offices.

You will work closely with the Directors responsible for each programme, alongside our Events and Operations Officers, who work across all programmes,  to ensure our programmes are planned and delivered to a high standard. 

The role of the Programme Officer has three core areas of responsibility:

1. Programme Planning and Project Management

• Project manage multiple, simultaneous programmes across the portfolio with rigour. Work with other programme managers to embed consistent programme management across our organisation. 

• Work with the Events and Operations Officers to complete the annual calendar-setting process, setting event dates and key programme milestones. Ensure all events are appropriately staffed. 

• Utilise Asana to monitor project milestones, proactively identify off-track delivery risks, and lead status updates during programme meetings to ensure timely intervention.

• Champion the use of HubSpot (CRM) and set up progress dashboards alongside evaluation colleagues.

2. Programme Delivery

• Improve (or establish) processes that ensure that every participant on our programmes has a great experience from the moment they find out about us, to when they exit working with us. 

• Manage the main programme inbox, serving as the responsive, warm, and professional first point of contact for routine enquiries from participants and external partners

• Coordinate regular, high-quality programmatic communications (e.g. programme blasts or event invites) to keep participants informed and engaged throughout the year. You may author these, or work with others to ensure they are circulated in a timely manner.

• Ensure all programmatic data collection is in line with GDPR guidelines.

• Support in programme administration tasks, such as preparing papers for steering group meetings, taking minutes and circulating actions. 

• Actively participate in cross-organisational reviews, sharing delivery insights in order to improve the quality of our work. 

• Programme-Specific Deliverables: 

Participant Recruitment & Onboarding: Lead the end-to-end application and onboarding journey for new programme cohorts, including coordinating assessment or sign up windows, distributing welcome materials, and managing intake data. 

Coaching Offer Management: Act as the end-to-end operational lead for the leadership coaching offer, managing coach-matching logistics, scheduling, and tracking completion rates.

Contract and Agreement Tracking: Administer the distribution and tracking of Service Level Agreements (SLAs), ensuring signed copies are received prior to delivery. 

3. Stakeholder and Relationship Management

• Coordinate the operational onboarding of new bespoke partners, guiding both internal and external senior stakeholders through this initial phase

• Invest deeply in building strong, warm, and respectful relationships with senior external stakeholders across identified bespoke partnerships, acting as a point of contact for any queries and ensuring excellent customer service

• Develop strong relationships internally, particularly with Regional Directors or Breakthrough Project Leads , providing them with regular progress updates, risk assessments, and actionable recommendations ahead of key delivery milestones.

• Actively collaborate with fellow Programme Officers to share operational learnings, standardise delivery templates, and build a supportive internal community of practice.

Nearly 1 in 5 children has a SEND need, yet many are excluded from school, play and community life, lacking safe spaces to connect and belong. This leads to isolation for children and intense pressure on families. Children become isolated, missing out on vital opportunities to develop confidence, friendship and independence. About the role

As the Head of Fundraising and Advocacy, you will develop and deliver integrated strategies to connect our story, audiences and funding opportunities, driving an increase in brand awareness and voluntary income. This is a senior leadership role, reporting to the CEO and sitting on the senior leadership team (SLT).

The role combines strategic leadership, high-level communications expertise and fundraising innovation to maximise impact and sustainability.

Who we are looking for

We seek an ambitious and collaborative fundraising leader who combines strategic vision with a practical, hands-on approach to delivery. You’ll be an inspiring communicator, engaging team leader, adept at engaging stakeholders and building trusted multi-year relationships that translate into meaningful income growth and organisational impact.

You’ll bring a strong track record of developing and delivering successful fundraising strategies across multiple income streams, alongside experience of contributing at a senior leadership level.

You’ll embrace change with resilience, identify opportunities where others see challenges and work collaboratively across fundraising, communications and the wider organisation to maximise impact.

As the Community Events and Partnerships Manager, you will play a key role in growing sustainable income and supporter engagement for Challengers.

Leading the community, corporate & events team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering an ambitious programme of community fundraising, challenge events, partnerships and supporter engagement activities.

You will ensure supporters receive an exceptional experience throughout their journey with Challengers, building long-term relationships that maximise impact, retention and income.

Working collaboratively across the fundraising, communications and service delivery teams, you will identify opportunities to strengthen supporter engagement, raise the profile of Challengers and support the delivery of organisational fundraising objectives.

Acting as an enthusiastic ambassador for Challengers, you will represent the charity at fundraising, networking and community events and help build meaningful relationships with supporters, volunteers, local organisations and partners.

Who we are looking for

We seek a relationship-focused fundraising professional who thrives on bringing people together to make a tangible difference. You’ll be passionate about creating exceptional supporter experiences, building lasting relationships and delivering engaging fundraising activities that inspire individuals, communities and corporate partners to support our mission.

You’ll have experience of managing successful fundraising or engagement events, corporate partnerships and delivering community fundraising programmes which deliver on ambitious income targets.
