Job Title: Concierge

Location: This role is based in Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC), the service is a short walk from Ladbroke Grove (Circle and Hammersmith) station. Unfortunately, this service does not have step free access.

Salary: £27,000 (Full Time Equivalent)

Shift Pattern: 22 hours per week on weekends, Saturday and Sunday on a rota between 09:00 - 21:00 . You may be required to work outside these hours dependent on service and resident requirements including bank holidays. 

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Concierge to join our team based in RBKC who provide support to our residents who have multiple and complex needs which could include mental health, substance use, homelessness, and/or offending backgrounds.  

You’ll help create a safe, welcoming and well run environment, offering reassurance and practical support to residents when they need it most. This role is key to keeping our building, residents and service secure and responsive. You’ll do regular safety checks, monitor access, respond to emergencies, support residents with queries, keep records, and hand over to the team. You’ll also help maintain a clean and safe environment.

Some Key Responsibilities Include:

• Ensuring our buildings are safe by monitoring, completing welfare checks and responding affectively and appropriately to emergencies
• Maintaining professionalism and kindness with residents and visitors, attending to calls, managing deliveries and ensuring great communication with the team in line with policies and procedures
• Provide a daily report on resident activity, AINMs, safeguarding and concerns for handovers.
• Working with the wider team to make sure any urgent issues are picked up and followed through
• Remain alert and monitor CCTV throughout the shift
• Adapting to service needs to support risk assessments, safeguarding checks, and service standards
• Supporting residents to build confidence and independence, contributing to a psychologically informed space where everyone is treated with respect and dignity
• Noticing when someone might be struggling with their physical or mental health, and taking prompt action to prevent escalation
• Helping to keep the environment clean and welcoming from tidying communal spaces to reporting repairs and completing admin tasks accurately and sensitively
• Be a valued and reliable member of the team, completing handovers for colleagues for a seamless service
• Other duties include maintaining cleanliness, removing rubbish, reporting repairs, ordering supplies, and general tasks

As our Dementia Coordinator, you’ll lead the development and coordination of  a tailored, personalised dementia-focused service, working closely with volunteers, carers, and local partners. We have existing monthly activites for those with dementia including our MCST group and our monthly Memory Cafés. The first offers a structured group session and the cafes offers a relaxed, informal setting for people with dementia and their family, friends and carers to get together. You will work with staff and volunteers to ensure the delivery of these services and ensure they meet the needs of your clients and carers.

• Build strong partnerships with local dementia services across health, social care, and the voluntary sector.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bid Manager and Writer to join our dynamic Business Development Team. About the Role

The Supervising Solicitor – Legal Aid is a key role in shaping and strengthening Release’s legal services. Working closely with the Joint Head of Legal Services and Executive Director, and in collaboration with other colleagues, you will supervise the delivery of high-quality legal advice and representation, supporting the growth of legal aid practice whilst ensuring Release continues to train and develop social justice lawyers for the future.

As Supervising Solicitor – Legal Aid, you will:

• Support Strategic Development: Contribute to developing the direction and priorities of Release’s legal services, including expanding legal aid work and strengthening access to justice.

About HOST

The Role

HOST seeks a qualified solicitor to establish and lead its internal legal function. The role requires expertise in UK contract and charity law, applied in an international nonprofit context. The primary jurisdiction will be England and Wales; however, given HOST’s global operations, familiarity with or awareness of the legal systems in the Netherlands, Singapore, and India would be advantageous. You will support hosting, grantmaking, partner support, and global operations, ensuring contracts, due diligence, and legal frameworks are robust, proportionate, and operationally effective.

This role combines hands-on legal review with systems design, risk oversight, and practical guidance for non-legal teams, working closely with the Executive Director and Operations leadership. As this is a newly created position, the scope and priorities of the role will naturally evolve over time in discussion with the Legal Circle. About you

Do you want to use your skills to make it possible for people with myeloma to live longer and better lives?  We are looking for someone with experience of delivering high quality supporter journeys and delivering fundraising projects and activities to join our Legacy & In Memory Giving team. Helping to grow income and supporting and delivering the Legacy & In Memory Giving fundraising strategy. 

You will have excellent communication, organisational and IT skills with good attention to detail and be able to follow procedures accurately.  Being successful in building effective relationships, self-motivated with the ability to manage a wide range of tasks under pressure and committed to making a difference is essential.

Previous experience of working in a cancer or healthcare charity, talking to bereaved and vulnerable supporters and using Raiser’s Edge or a similar CRM system would be an advantage but not essential.

About the role

The Legacy & In Memory Giving Fundraiser will help support and deliver the Legacy and In Memory Giving fundraising strategy.  You will have compassionate communication skills, especially when talking to supporters who are recently bereaved and you will develop and deliver outstanding stewardship programmes that offer support and drive retention.

This role requires using data and insight to help deliver the Legacy marketing programme, whilst also supporting the day-to-day Legacy and estate administration, dealing with solicitors, legal representatives and executors.  You will proactively develop In Memory Giving fundraising, maximising the fundraising products, channels and messaging already available, as well as identifying new opportunities that are suitable for the Legacy & In Memory audience.

The role will also include working with colleagues, maximising cross team collaboration and ensuring appropriate Legacy and In Memory stewardship across all fundraising specialisms.

About the Department
The Church of England Foundation for Educational Leadership was set up in 2017 with the mission to 'develop inspirational leaders who are called, connected, committed to deliver the Church of England vision for education'. Since then, it has operated a wide range of leadership development programmes, networks, research, conference and events, and published a range of key leadership resources to equip school leaders at every level to put their vision into practice.
Part of this provision has been as a very successful national provider of NPQ programmes. Beginning in 2017 with the delivery of NPQs for Headteachers, our suite of programmes has now expanded to include programmes for Specialist Teachers, Senior Leaders and also Executive Leaders. More recently, a partnership between the Church of England and the Catholic Education Service is also enabling programmes to be delivered more widely as together our school provision represents around 34% of the sector.

In 2025, the department will launch three new national programmes: Flourishing Leaders, Flourishing Teachers, and Flourishing ECTs (in partnership with UCL). These programmes respond to growing demand for high-quality, values-led professional learning and represent a significant expansion of our work across the education sector.

About the role
As Head of Flourishing Programmes, you will lead the strategic and operational delivery and expansion of our growing suite of values-led professional learning programmes: Flourishing Leaders, Flourishing Teachers, Flourishing ECTs (in partnership with UCL), and Leaders Like Us. These programmes are designed to support the flourishing of educators at every stage of their journey, with a strong emphasis on inclusion, vocation, and leadership development. Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men and it’s harming too many lives. At Prostate Cancer UK, one of our top priorities is funding research that leads to real change. It’s vital we do our best to make sure this research makes a meaningful difference to men’s lives, and that’s where you come in. 

We’re at an exciting time, with a new strategy coming soon, and so we are looking to grow our Research Funding Team. We’re looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Grant Manager to help us deliver our core funding schemes and embark on new, exciting initiatives to fund ground-breaking research that will revolutionise how prostate cancer is diagnosed and treated. 

You’ll take responsibility for a portfolio of around a third of our active research grants, providing support and guidance to the researchers leading them. You’ll be a main point of contact for grant applicants, supporting them through the application process and providing them with guidance about remit and eligibility. Using your understanding of research funding and administration, you’ll work with our Senior Research Officers to make sure our funding schemes run smoothly, to time and support our funding Committees in their review of the applications we receive. 

What the job involves

It’s crucial that we not only have fair and robust processes to ensure that we fund the very best research, but that we also closely monitor and support the delivery of the resulting projects, to maximise their impact and accelerate the advancements we see through research. Which is why we’re looking to appoint an experienced Grant Manager to join our Research Directorate.

As part of your responsibilities, you’ll manage a portfolio of our active research grants, closely monitoring their progress and finances, and provide valuable support and advice to our grant holders and their teams. You’ll develop a detailed understanding of the science behind these projects and build positive working relationships with the researchers and their institutions. You’ll monitor your portfolio for demonstrable outputs (publications, presentations, intellectual property etc.) and you’ll work closely with colleagues in other teams to help them better understand the research we fund in order to showcase this to our supporters and potential donors.

You’ll support the delivery of our research funding grant schemes, managing at least one of our grant rounds, whilst also supporting our other funding schemes, ensuring that we maintain robust processes and adhere to industry and department standards. You’ll also help direct on our activities to involve people with experience of prostate cancer in research, including their involvement in the assessment of the research proposals we receive, as well as supporting researchers to include patients in the design and delivery of their projects.

• Support logistics such as registration, travel coordination, permits, supplies, safety planning, and postevent wrap-ups

• Provide first-class support to event participants from sign-up to post-event follow-up
