About the Role

We are seeking an experienced administrator to provide efficient administrative support to the Training, Learning and Assessment team, ensuring that trainer, assessor and programme administration is accurate, up to date and well organised. This role is central to the effective administration of the Training, Learning and Assessment function. The postholder will provide practical day-to-day support to help ensure that trainers and assessors receive timely information, accurate documentation and well-coordinated administrative processes.

Working closely with the Training, Assessment, Learning and Curriculum (TALC) Coordinator and the Head of Learning, the Administrator will help maintain records, support communication, coordinate meetings and training activity, and contribute to the smooth delivery of programmes across the organisation.

Main duties & responsibilities

Assessment Administration

• Administer assessment processes, ensuring learner submissions, assessment materials and related documentation are processed accurately and securely.
• Allocate learner submissions to assessors in accordance with agreed processes and maintain accurate records of allocations.
• Track assessment progress and turnaround times, updating records and following up with assessors as required.
• Receive, record and process completed assessments, ensuring learner feedback is distributed promptly and records are updated.
• Maintain assessment tracking systems, spreadsheets and databases.

Trainer and Assessor Administration

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date trainer and assessor records, including compliance documentation and annual review records.
• Support the onboarding of new trainers and assessors, including preparation of documentation, induction arrangements and record creation.
• Support the offboarding of trainers and assessors.
• Act as the first point of contact for routine trainer and assessor enquiries, escalating issues where appropriate.
• Support the administration and scheduling of trainer and assessor CPD activities and training opportunities.
• Keep up to date and accurate distribution lists for internal communications.

Quality Assurance and Compliance Administration

• Maintain quality assurance, compliance and assessment documentation in accordance with organisational procedures.
• Support moderation, internal verification and quality assurance activities through the preparation and organisation of relevant documentation.
• Ensure records are stored accurately, securely and are readily accessible to authorised colleagues.
• Identify and report any missing documentation, delays or compliance concerns.

Data Management and Reporting

• Maintain internal databases, tracking systems and shared files.
• Collate trainer and assessor feedback and survey responses.
• Produce routine reports and administrative summaries as requested.

General Administrative Support

• Provide administrative support for meetings, including agenda preparation, minute-taking and action tracking where required.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of administrative systems and processes.
• Undertake any other duties commensurate with the role as reasonably required by the organisation.

Their Helpline positions are office based at the Erdington location. The Helpline operates between the hours of 9am to 11pm, seven days a week and 365 days a year. Employees work on a rota basis, which will include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Shifts are 9am to 5pm and 3pm to 11pm. This is an on-site role, and no hybrid working is available.

The Role

In this role, you will support the Director of Finance in providing a proactive, efficient, and highly effective finance service across the Diocesan board of finance and trust custodian company, as well as supporting the larger finance team who look after the Board of Education.

The Role

This is a remote position for someone based in the UK, with the expectation to work at a VCUKI office two days a month. The role is full-time and reports to the VCUKI National Coordinator.

The Head of Fundraising will be responsible for creating and implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy aimed at securing donations from major donors, trusts, foundations, and corporations.

They will work with movement leaders and Vineyard staff to maximise fundraising opportunities and establish long-term relationships with donors. The candidate should be a starter finisher as this is a new area of development for both VCUKI and Vineyard Global, and over time, it is anticipated that the post-holder will build a team to assist with key aspects of the role. The Events Co-ordinator has a pivotal role in coordinating and executing various events and initiatives to support the Charity’s objectives. Victim Support is seeking a committed and detail-focused Team Leader to help coordinate and maintain excellent support for witnesses within the busy Court environment at Stoke Crown Court and North Staffordshire Justice Centre. You will play a vital role in supporting the Deputy Team Leader, volunteers, and wider service ensuring witnesses receive timely, compassionate, and effective support throughout their justice journey.

Join SmellTaste and lead the development of the charity’s involvement in research, shaping how lived experience of those affected by smell and taste impairment is integrated in research projects. As Research Development and Engagement Manager, you will lead engagement with researchers, our patient community, and external partners to develop and support new research collaborations. This includes leading the Public and Patient Involvement activity for a 12-month National Institute of Health Research-funded Programme Development Grant, the ICAST Programme: Improving Care for patients with Smell & Taste Disorders, and undertaking planning work for the prospective Programme Grant which is expected to follow this.

This post is funded for 2 days (15 hours) per week for an initial 12-month period, with the potential for the contract to be extended and for it to become a full-time role subject to further funding being secured.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the SmellTaste contribution to a 12-month National Institute of Health Research-funded Programme Development Grant, led by Prof Carl Philpott at the University of East Anglia (the ICAST Programme: Improving Care for patients with Smell & Taste Disorders).  
• Develop a Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement (PPIE) strategy for the above project, including evaluation of impact and dissemination
• Manage a PPI panel for the NIHR project, organise PPIE meetings and ensure participants and panel members are remunerated for activity.
• Develop a detailed, costed delivery plan for the national survey element of the planned Programme Grant which is expected to follow on from the Programme Development Grant, including marketing and publicity, recruitment and dissemination.
• Work with the charity’s CEO and honorary Director of Research and Medical Affairs to develop a research strategy for the charity that aligns with the research priorities identified in the James Lind Alliance Priority Setting Partnership for Smell and Taste Disorders.
• Work with the charity’s CEO, honorary Director of Research and Medical Affairs and external researchers to identify opportunities for new collaborative research opportunities.
• Develop funding applications for research projects.
• Oversee all of the charity’s collaborative research activity, including PPIE activity.
• Evaluate and report on the impact of research projects, ensuring inclusivity and ethical standards.

Personal specification

• Degree (or equivalent experience) in biological sciences or a related field
• Experience leading or supporting public and patient involvement and engagement initiatives in research
• Experience leading or supporting involvement in research
• Experience of writing grant applications
• Ability to communicate and interpret complex scientific research clearly
• Experience working with diverse and underrepresented communities
• Confident relationship builder with researchers and other external stakeholders
• Excellent organisational skills, including strong project management skills

Hours: Part-time, 15 hours per week

Salary: £40,000, pro-rata

Holiday allowance: 25 days pro-rata, plus bank holidays

Location: Home working. Some travel will be required to attend in-person meetings and events

Governance & Board Relationship

• Identify, recommend and support the recruitment of new members of both boards. 
• Advise the boards on significant strategic decisions, including potential partnerships and organisational change.

Organisational Leadership

• Lead, support and inspire a high-performing and global team of approximately 20 staff.
• Where needed, oversee and support the delivery of multiple projects and programmes aligned with strategic priorities, in conjunction with the project leads.

External Engagement & Influence

• Represent the organisation with external partners, funders, policymakers and the wider sector. 
• Build and manage relationships with key donors.
