The role

We are seeking a motivated Business Development Intern to support our Development Team across fundraising, donor engagement, partnerships, and grants.

This full-time, 12-month internship offers hands-on experience within an international nonprofit and is ideal for someone passionate about social justice and international development.

Location: Hybrid (Hampton and remote)
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Contract: 12 months
Reports to: Senior Business Development Officer
 

Key responsibilities

Fundraising and campaigns

• Support planning, delivery, and evaluation of individual giving campaigns and fundraising events

• Research prospective donors and new fundraising opportunities

• Assist with fundraising-related social media and marketing content

• Track and report on fundraising performance and impact

• Support challenge and community fundraising events and participant management

Donor communications

• Draft and edit donor communications, including thank-you messages, newsletters, and appeals

• Support personalised donor stewardship and supporter journeys

Grants and proposals

• Research grant opportunities aligned with NO MORE’s priorities

• Assist with grant applications, submissions, and reporting

• Track deadlines and maintain accurate grant records

• Support collection of impact and monitoring data

Partnership and team support

• Support delivery of in-person and virtual partnership events

• Conduct research on fundraising trends and donor demographics

• Provide administrative support, including database management and scheduling

• Support fundraising reporting to the Board of Trustees
   

About you

You will have:

• A degree in Humanities, Social Sciences, Development or a related field

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

• Confidence using Microsoft Office or Google Suite (including Excel and Gmail)

• Strong research skills and ability to summarise information clearly

Contract: We are open to this role being part time (0.8FTE minimum preferred) or full time. We offer fully flexible working.

About the Warm Welcome Campaign

Founded in 2022, the Warm Welcome Campaign wants everyone in the UK to find a place of belonging and reconnection at a Warm Welcome Space near their home. We have a bold ambition to enable a more deeply connected society where we all have free access to welcoming community spaces. 

We resource, connect and champion a network of over 6,300 Warm Welcome Spaces and bring together a growing coalition of local, regional, and national partners representing the worlds of charity, faith, business, government, and philanthropy. By working together, we can unlock the power of community spaces made by and for everyone, creating a thriving network of hope and reconnection fueled by human warmth. 

We’re working hard to reach everyone with the message that a Warm Welcome is waiting for them just around the corner, all through the year.

The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a purposeful and proactive individual to work within a small (but growing), friendly and dynamic team in a varied role.

We are expanding our programmes and partnership team and so we are looking for a Warm Welcome Space Support Coordinator (based in the East Midlands).

To support the range and depth of opportunities we can offer to Warm Welcome Spaces, we are looking for a Spaces Support Coordinator to work primarily on supporting our Champions programme, as well as other exciting programme opportunities, to ensure they are as successful as possible in delivering impact for Spaces by meeting their targets. 

We’re looking for someone who thrives on the variety of connecting with a huge range of people and who is organised and systematic while at the same time has room for creativity, learning and innovation. You will need to enjoy working proactively and flexibly in a fast-paced environment, and have a logical, systematic approach, as well as excellent communication and IT skills. 

Our team works remotely, but there are also opportunities to co-work (depending on location). You’ll be encouraged and supported to grow and develop your skills and expertise within this role

Warm Welcome Responsibilities

Working closely with the Warm Welcome Spaces Support Manager and wider team your primary responsibility will be to provide Project Coordination related to projects that are designed to support Warm Welcome Spaces, taking ownership of specific projects and tasks as required, including;

Project Coordination:

• Owns and manages parts of a project and ensures successful delivery - for example within the Warm Welcome Champions Programme or Partnership volunteering opportunities to benefit Spaces. This will include organising specific events as part of wider projects

• Develops project plans and timelines and maintains updates and progress

• Communicates clearly about a project and ensures the project is keeping to the planned timeline and outcomes, identifying any delivery challenges quickly

• Understands key responsibilities and can clearly articulate role within projects

• Responding to and fielding enquiries related to projects as appropriate

• Taking meeting minutes and chairing meetings when needed

• Collecting and entering data for various spreadsheets and documents efficiently

• Maintaining and updating information on our CRM tool

• Ensuring project documents are responsibly and securely stored and updated on the GDrive

• Builds positive relationships with partners and delivers expected outcomes on projects in partnership with them

Warm Welcome Space Support:

• Organising, supporting and attending Space visits, special events or volunteering opportunities to build relationships with Spaces and partners

• Recording key insights and information during Space visits to ensure we have key impact and reporting data, as well as information to help us to continue to learn and improve our support for Spaces

Communication support:

• Supporting with communications e.g. storygathering at events or space visits

• Liaising with stakeholders and funders in a timely manner as required

• Writing up stories about spaces visited that can be published on the website 

Teamworking:

• Supporting the work of the wider Warm Welcome/Good Faith Partnership Team as capacity and need allows

Working Arrangements 

• Current members of the team are based across the UK, with some in London, Reading, Bristol, Manchester, York and Northern Ireland. Given the nature of this role we would also expect the applicant to carry out a reasonable amount of travel to both Warm Welcome Spaces and partners across the UK.

THE ROLE

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Senior Fundraising Officer to join our team on a fixed-term contract.

Working closely with the Director of Fundraising and the Senior Fundraising Lead, you will ensure our high-value corporate partnerships run smoothly, our high-net-worth events are a success and our external pitches are sharp and well-researched. 

This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your hands-on experience across corporate, trusts and foundations and individual giving within a fast-growing charity backed by a globally recognised brand.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Research and opportunity generation

• Support the team by researching and keeping abreast of new funding opportunities across trusts, foundations, and corporate prospects.
• Compile background research to help the team evaluate and pursue new business leads.

Funding applications and pitch support

• Assist the Senior Fundraising Lead and Director of Fundraising with writing funding applications.
• Help structure and draft compelling pitch documents to support the team’s new business goals.
• Design and adapt templates for various fundraising documents and pitches.

Partnership coordination

• Take ownership of the day-to-day coordination of our corporate and institutional partnerships, ensuring exceptional donor care and seamless communication with external stakeholders (e.g., tracking partnership metrics, coordinating meetings, monthly data reporting and managing external communications).
• Deliver external logistics, such as school visits and workshops for corporate partners.
• Draft and prepare comprehensive reports for funders, while managing and responding to all ad hoc requests efficiently.

Fundraising operations support

• Be a key, dependable member of the team, supporting various fundraising work streams to ensure targets are met and team effectiveness is maximised.
• Draft supporter newsletters for our donor communications. 
• Coordinate in-person and online events (e.g., roundtables, fireside talks).

• Research skills: An ability to conduct thorough background research to identify new potential funding opportunities.

We are looking for two Consultants to join our Faith & Society team. These roles will support the delivery of projects focused on public affairs, faith engagement and social change. You will work with partners across politics, civil society, business and faith communities, and will contribute to research, stakeholder engagement, project coordination and client delivery. You will also help build relationships across a wide range of organisations and communities 

Location: The role is based primarily remotely, but you must be willing and able to work regularly (one day per week minimum) from our London office, which is near to Parliament. You must also be able to travel to Bristol and/or Reading once a month for a team meeting, for which expenses will be covered.

Contract: This is a permanent, full-time role, but we are open to being flexible on this, and on proposed working patterns.

Responsibilities

The Consultants’ main responsibilities will be to support and own parts of GFP projects by:

• Supporting projects with a public affairs component to provide accurate, incisive and impactful data and analysis

• Producing weekly reports on relevant parliamentary and government business for particular clients and projects

• Maintaining accurate, user-friendly and up-to-date databases to support public affairs work across projects

• Assisting in drafting parliamentary materials, including briefings, oral and written questions, and correspondence with stakeholders

• Supporting senior colleagues in their client and stakeholder management as necessary, including with administrative tasks such as meeting preparation and minute-taking

• Supporting colleagues to organise events on the Parliamentary estate, including room bookings and catering

ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a strong Administrator to provide high quality administrative and operational support to the Governance and Compliance Team.

Your role focuses on meeting coordination, record-keeping, and day-to-day governance administration, ensuring that Local Governing Bodies (LGBs) and governance professionals are well supported and compliant with Trust policies and statutory requirements. You will also provide administration support to the Federation’s risk and internal audit functions.

You will play an essential part in ensuring efficient governance and compliance operations, accurate documentation and timely communication, contributing to the smooth functioning of governance and compliance at academy and Trust level.

MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

As a Administrator to the Governance and Compliance Team, you will play a key role in supporting effective governance across our academies by providing high-quality administrative and operational support to the Governance Team.

You will support Local Governing Bodies through meeting coordination, clerking, and accurate record-keeping, helping to ensure governance processes are compliant, well-organised, and run smoothly at both academy and Trust level. The role requires a willingness to work some evenings to support governance meetings and the ability to travel across the Trust as needed.

Governance Records & Compliance Administration

• Maintain accurate governance records including:
• registers of interest
• governor attendance records
• training logs
• membership lists and terms of office
• Support onboarding and offboarding processes for governors, including DBS checks, induction materials, and profile updates.
• Ensure relevant governance documents, policies, and registers are updated and stored in line with Trust protocols.
• Assist with preparing documentation and evidence for governance audits and internal audit assurance checks.

Complaints & Panel Administration

• Support administration of complaints processes at academy level, including logging, tracking, and maintaining secure records.
• Coordinate panel dates, paperwork, documentation packs, and correspondence to complainants.
• Take minutes at hearings where required, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and procedural compliance.
• Support the Governance Manager by maintaining databases, generating reports, and ensuring actions are documented.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Qualifications to Level 3 or equivalent experience.
• Willingness to undertake governance-related training, with NGA or clerking qualifications desirable
• Experience in administration, clerical, or coordination roles.

• Confident communication skills, both written and spoken
