Context

London’s Air Ambulance Charity has a small team of pilots who are dedicated to maintaining high standards of aviation in order to deliver our helicopter emergency medical service (HEMS) to the people of London. We have recently changed our fleet to the EC135 T3H; modernising our multi-pilot aviation environment.

Day to day, we work closely with the charity’s teams including the medical, fire and support staff. All are prepared and rehearsed in their roles and strive to provide the best service possible.

We also liaise outside London’s Air Ambulance Charity, within the wider air ambulance network and other emergency service communities to ensure safe, efficient operations in line with industry best practice.

Our flights are short and mostly within the busy airspace of London to land and deliver clinical teams to scene with safety as our top priority. Where situations allow, once landed and shut down, pilots help clinical crews with logistics and also act as ambassadors for the charity, liaising with the public. 

About the role

We are looking to appoint an experienced HEMS Captain. As a London’s Air Ambulance Charity Captain, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that flights are operated safely and in accordance with the Operations Manual. You’ll be used to establishing a strong team environment which will ensure the team is ready to respond swiftly.

You’ll be dedicated to maintaining high standards of aviation, striving for continuous improvement and actively working towards standards of excellence.

Please note that the successful post-holder will be subject to a Basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check which will disclose unspent convictions or adult cautions. The successful post-holder will also be subject to obtaining security clearance at RAF Northolt.

About the person

You’ll have experience in HEMS, or an equivalent service, and are able to work within a multi disciplinary team with high levels of accountability in sometimes difficult and challenging conditions.

Experience of working in a youth-focused or mental health charity, an understanding of the local Isle of Wight funding landscape, and a professional fundraising qualification (e.g. CIoF) are all desirable but not essential.

We are looking to appoint a full-time Audio-Visual Production Engineer with good organisational skills to help facilitate production in the growing ministries at Holy Trinity Cambridge, working with and reporting to the Senior Worship Pastor. 

HT is a vibrant, evangelical, charismatic Anglican church, with a large and growing church family of all ages and stages. We are situated right at the centre of the city and perfectly placed to reach students and adults alike. We also sense that God is leading us into a new season of being a church for the city and our so heart is to further develop as a discipleship and leadership training hub, to serve and reach our city more, and, in years to come, to explore planting and partnering further afield. 

This is primarily an audio- and team-focused job, but you will be working alongside the Worship Team and other HT ministries to deliver the audio-visual production (including live stream) aspect of the HT worship ministry. In addition to our Sunday services, you’ll deliver AV production for a wide range of events, both inside and outside the church buildings, including weddings and funerals, as well as kids, youth, student, Easter, and Christmas events. Alongside audio set up and mixing bands and voices for the best quality sound possible, both in the room and online, we will draw on your skills to train up and develop volunteers to help deliver these services and events, as well as build systems on our audio equipment that ensure sound is consistent with volunteer operation of audio equipment.

You’ll also stay engaged and connected with our work on the ground, travelling across your local area to support programme delivery, deliver enrichment sessions, and visit delivery partner.

You’ll work closely with existing partners while also seeking out and establishing new partnerships, helping us broaden our reach and bring fresh, inspiring opportunities into our programmes. You’ll play a central role in driving our community mentoring programme, supporting mentors and mentees, ensuring a structured, safe, and positive experience, and helping young people benefit long-term from guidance and support.

Our delivery partners and volunteers will rely on you for access to training, resources, qualifications, and guidance in adhering to our top-notch quality standards. You’ll also be our compliance hero, making sure everyone is up to speed with the policies and processes that keep things running smoothly. You’ll be adaptable, resilient and adept at problem solving, ready to tackle any minor setbacks that come along with coordinating such a multi-faceted programme. 

Your attention to detail and passion for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion will shine through as you accurately and efficiently record data collected from young people, volunteers, or partners. It is essential that each step of their journey is accurately documented in our systems and aligns with the requirements of our funding contracts, which are at the forefront of championing EDI. Your sheer enthusiasm, commitment and advocacy for our most vulnerable young people will ignite transformative action, sparking real change as we put those local plans into play and excel in achieving our EDI goals.

Do you have the creativity to facilitate best-practice sharing, energise networking sessions, and and throw sensational celebration s? Are you ready to create, design and directly deliver Education enrichment sessions to Young People aged 11 to 18 then this is your place to be. You will have the autonomy to design sessions based off the future employability sectors as well as facilitate skills development sessions with pupils.

Having a background in education could be an advantage in this role, whether you're familiar with the intricacies of the secondary education system or you've walked in the shoes of a teaching role before. If not, we’d still love to hear from you as you will receive wrap-around support and upskilling opportunities from the moment you step into the role.

If you’re a strong communicator with sharp problem-solving skills and and comfortable directly delivering to Young People at school age, you could be just the person we’re looking for.

About the role

This is a unique opportunity to lead a well established, community rooted women’s organisation with over 40 years of history. As Chief Executive Officer, you will provide strategic leadership, operational oversight and external representation, working closely with a committed Board of Trustees.

You will balance long term strategic thinking with hands on delivery, ensuring the organisation remains financially sustainable, well governed and responsive to the women it supports.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and delivering a clear organisational strategy aligned to the charity’s mission and values
• Leading, motivating and supporting a small, dedicated team
• Ensuring strong governance, safeguarding, compliance and operational systems
• Support high quality, person centred service delivery and impact through strategic oversight and delegation. 
• Leading income generation across trusts, foundations, corporates, earned income and individual giving also including pitching to major donors and relationship building with communities
• Managing budgets, financial planning and organisational resources
• Acting as an ambassador and advocate, building partnerships across local VCS and local authorities
• Raising the organisation’s profile, influence and reach locally and beyond

About you

You will be a confident, emotionally intelligent leader with senior level experience in the charity, community or related sectors. You are values led, collaborative and motivated by social justice, with the ability to inspire others and lead effectively through complexity.

You will bring:

Experience in community services, welfare advice or working with women facing multiple disadvantage is welcomed but not essential.

The charity is a women only organisation based in North London with more than 40 years of history. It was established by women supporting one another through hardship and isolation and has since evolved to serve a diverse range of communities across London.

About the role: 

We’re looking for an Accreditation & Licensing Advisor to support the review and development of iCatCare’s Cat Friendly accreditation and licensing schemes (Cat Friendly Clinic, Cat Friendly Homing, Easy to Give and Cat Friendly Approved) This role plays a key part in ensuring our programmes are strategically aligned, operationally effective, and deliver measurable impact for cat welfare. 

You’ll work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to strengthen standards, improve processes, and help ensure our schemes are sustainable, robust, and internationally relevant. 

Key responsibilities 

• Contribute to the review and development of accreditation and licensing schemes, from application through to assessment and renewal 

• Monitor emerging global standards, legislation, and research relevant to animal welfare accreditation 

• Conduct competitor and sector analysis to inform scheme development 

• Support the creation of clear policies, procedures, guidance, and implementation plans 

• Work with data and digital teams to improve systems, reporting, and efficiency 

• Coordinate timelines, manage budgets, and identify risks and opportunities 

• Support stakeholder engagement, including scheme participants, sponsors, and partners 

• Gather, analyse, and report on data for accreditation submissions, performance monitoring, and impact measurement 

• Support financial modelling, reporting dashboards, and impact reports 

• Contribute to funding and sponsorship development alongside fundraising colleagues 

About You: 

You’ll bring experience in accreditation, licensing, quality management, compliance, or a related field, with a strong appreciation of the challenges involved in operating international accreditation and/or licensing programmes. You’ll be highly organised, comfortable managing multiple priorities, and confident working independently as well as collaboratively. 

You’ll communicate clearly and thoughtfully, build positive working relationships, and feel confident using data and digital tools to support decision making and reporting. Above all, you’ll be motivated by purpose and shared values, with a genuine commitment to improving cat welfare.
