You’ll have a strong track record in building and managing partnerships, securing grants from charitable trusts and foundations, and delivering successful fundraising campaigns. You will be a strategic thinker, confident communicator, and relationship-builder who is motivated by making a difference. Able to juggle both management and hands-on, operational activities, you’ll be keen to get stuck in and make a difference.
You will sit in a small, dynamic and supportive team also responsible for communications and membership engagement, and you’ll work with closely with them to integrate fundraising messages within our broader communications. You will also have a dotted line to other key teams within the organisation, in a matrix-style working set-up.

About the role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast moving, youth focused, charity and to play a vital role in securing income to support our youth activities – working with Trusts and Foundations predominantly, but with the opportunity to also build relationships with statutory funders and, in future, major donors.

Key Responsibilities
- Income generation - to achieve or exceed agreed income targets, with a focus on securing donations from Trust and Foundations
- Grant management - working with internal colleagues to track funded projects’ progress against targets and taking action to course correct when necessary. Produce timely, engaging, and accessible project reports to inspire and build donor relationships
- Prospecting - research and qualify a pipeline of Trusts and Foundations and small statutory opportunities to progress and secure financial support for YE.
- Administration - effective administration across YE systems and platforms
- Donor stewardship - some travel required to support YE activities with young people in schools, donor visits to projects
A few practical things
- This is a hybrid role, requiring you to work from a YE office (London or Oxford) at least 8 times per month
- The role will involve travel to events, typically at schools, which take place during term time, however some evening working may also be required.

We are seeking our first Head of Fundraising to join our Senior Leadership Team, build the function and leave a legacy.

Key responsibilities:
Strategy and Leadership
- Lead development and execution of a fundraising strategy focused on trusts,foundations and corporates (with a possible addition of individual philanthropy further down the line).

Terms:

- Annual Gross Salary: £64,800 (employees who are not London-based receive the same salary, including London weighting, but cover their own travel costs to the office, typically twice a month)
- Location: Either London-based, with two days per week in Money and Mental Health’s East London office, or home-based with the ability to travel to London at least twice per month. The role will also require some travel for meetings.
- Hours: Both full-time and part-time applicants considered, at a minimum of four days per week. Job shares, consolidated hours and other flexible working arrangements will be considered. Please indicate your preferred working hours on application.
- Contract type: Permanent
- Holidays: 28 days per year (including 3 days between Christmas and New Year when the office is closed), plus bank holidays

About the role
We are looking to recruit a talented Business Support Officer to join the Philanthropy & Alumni Engagement (P&A) team at King’s College London.
The Business Support Officer provides crucial and comprehensive support for the Business Operations team to help ensure the continued success and evolution of the department. It is a fast-paced and varied post that will offer operational and administrative support to cover a diverse range of tasks, from planning and delivering team engagement activity, through to recruitment and onboarding, to supporting on financial analysis and reporting. They work closely with the Business Manager KCL Philanthropy and the People & Talent Manager but will also be a part of the wider Business Operations unit that ensures P&A is an efficiently and smoothly functioning unit.
As a significant part of the role, the postholder will be working closely with the Business Manager to support the work of the Philanthropy teams. The role will work with frontline fundraisers, as well as colleagues across the Department, to support in the processes and administration involved in cultivating and securing philanthropic gifts. They will also play a key role in supporting the Business Manager to drive forward important engagement and coordination across the Philanthropy team. The Business Support Officer will also work closely with the People & Talent Manager, supporting in areas such as recruitment process, developing and organising training programmes and opportunities, and generally supporting on work to create an excellent working environment. This will cover activity in the Philanthropy teams and also more broadly across P&A.
The role will suit an ambitious self-starter who can co-ordinate and manage projects and processes across a variety of work areas within business operations, being motivated by working with both people and data. Someone who can build strong relationships across teams to ensure that ways of working are optimised to support our fundraising efforts and our wider department. And someone who will embrace working in a role that requires a degree of autonomy, in the context of a team that prides itself on its open, friendly, and supportive culture.
This is a full-time post (35 Hours per week), and you will be offered a fixed term contract for 12 months. P&A has a hybrid working approach, with a minimum of 40% of time in the office. Typically, this equates to two days per week, but we’re very happy for colleagues to be in more frequently if they so wish.

The Role

You will form part of EFN’s Leadership Team, deputising for the Executive Director as needed, and will likely line manage a small team of 3–4 individuals.

- Raise awareness of the need for environmental philanthropy through partnerships, events, communications and media opportunities.

Job Purpose:
