We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Volunteer to help strengthen our digital presence and raise awareness of the Helen Bamber Foundation's work and the issues we advocate for.
This role will play an important part in shaping our social media presence, particularly on Instagram, helping to develop engaging visual content, Reels, and other short-form video formats. We are seeking someone with a strong eye for design and visual storytelling, an understanding of branding and the importance of consistency, and a passion for human rights, asylum, migration, and trauma-informed practice.
Working closely with the Communications Manager, you will help generate ideas, create and schedule content, contribute to campaigning and marketing, and support the monitoring and evaluation of content performance to help grow our reach and engagement.
MAIN TASKS AND ACTIVITIES
• Support the planning, creation and delivery of engaging social media content across the Helen Bamber Foundation Group's channels, with a particular focus on Instagram.
• Design high-quality graphics, carousels, stories, and other visual assets that align with the Foundation's brand guidelines and communications objectives.
• Create and edit Reels and other short-form video content to increase audience engagement and communicate key messages in accessible and creative ways.
• Generate content ideas and contribute to the development of campaigns, awareness days, fundraising activities and advocacy initiatives.
• Help develop and refine visual templates, formats and design approaches for Instagram, ensuring strong branding and visual consistency.
• Identify opportunities to repurpose existing content, including reports, research papers, case studies, blogs, media coverage, and impact/annual reports into compelling social media posts.

At FARA, our shops are run by welcoming and collaborative teams. You’ll gain hands-on experience in social media content creation while working alongside supportive colleagues. Full training is provided, and we offer a positive, inclusive, and safe volunteering environment.
Your Time:
Our shop operates from 10:00 to 18:00, and we’re looking for someone who can volunteer for a minimum of 4 hours either in the morning or afternoon, whenever you are available in arrangement with the shop manager.

Our Volunteer Opportunity
We are looking for a talented and passionate volunteer Graphic Designer to help shape the visual identity of SUNSHINE Charity.
This is more than a design role — it is a chance to help build the public face of a charity with a truly important mission.
Your creativity will help us communicate hope, kindness and community in a way that inspires people to get involved, support our work, and believe in a better, more connected future.
You will help us develop a strong, uplifting and memorable brand identity that reflects who we are and what we stand for: warmth, inclusion, dignity, joy and human connection.
What you’ll help with
Refining SUNSHINE’s visual identity so it feels professional, warm and consistent.
Creating design assets for social media, posters, flyers and promotional materials.
Helping us build a brand that feels inspiring, approachable and community-focused.
Developing templates and visuals that can be used across our growing charity work.
Supporting us to present SUNSHINE in a way that captures attention and encourages action.
Ensuring our materials reflect our values of connection, kindness, inclusion, community-led work, integrity and collaboration.

Social Media Content Creator
Mountain Rescue England and Wales, Media and Communicatios, is on the lookout for innovative and creative volunteer Social Media Content Creators. These individuals will play a key role in enhancing our digital presence across platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. The responsibilities will focus on producing engaging visual and written content that resonates with our target audiences.
Communications serve as a vital support function for Mountain Rescue, aiding our operational efforts to help individuals make better-informed choices that enhance their safety and lessen the demand on our teams.
All roles are home based and will require around 2 to 4 hours per week. No prior Mountain Rescue skills are required for these roles and there will be opportunity to visit Mountain Rescue bases to become familiar with what we do. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the safety of those exploring the hills and mountains.

We’re REMIX, a Shoreditch‑based social mobility charity on a mission to help young people rewrite the stories they’ve been handed and remix their lives with confidence, creativity, and community. This VOLUNTEER Role
