As our first-ever Volunteer Head of People and Culture, you’ll help create the heartbeat of SUNSHINE — the way we welcome people, support them, celebrate them, and help them shine.

Role Overview

As a Talent Administrator, you will be the backbone of the Talent Advisory team, ensuring smooth HR processes, meticulous record-keeping, and compliance with legal and organisational standards. Your work will focus on exit procedures, HR documentation, administrative support, and data protection, enabling the team to operate efficiently while advancing QuilomboUK’s mission. Key Responsibilities:

Exit Procedures & Offboarding

• Manage end-to-end exit processes for resignations, retirements, and contract conclusions, ensuring a respectful and consistent experience.
• Conduct exit interviews (virtually), document feedback, and share insights with the Talent Advisory team to identify trends and improve retention.
• Collaborate with Legal, IT, and managers to ensure the timely return of equipment and access revocation.

HR Records & Compliance

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records (digital and physical), including contracts, right-to-work documents, and visa expiry dates.
• Prepare audit-ready documentation for internal and external compliance reviews (e.g., GDPR, ISO standards).
• Track and renew right-to-work checks, visas, and other legal requirements, flagging expiries proactively.

Administrative Support

• Assist the Talent Advisory team with administrative tasks, including drafting ER case correspondence, updating HRIS data, and generating reports.
• Manage HR system updates (e.g., employee status changes, promotions) and ensure data integrity across platforms.
• Coordinate team calendars, meetings, and training sessions to optimise workflows in a remote setting.

Data Protection & Security

• Serve as the first point of contact for data protection queries, ensuring compliance with GDPR and company policies.
• Train employees and managers on the secure handling of sensitive HR information in a remote work environment.
• Monitor access permissions to HR systems and escalate potential breaches to the Manager: Talent Advisory.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1+ years in HR administration, data management, or a similar role. Exposure to remote work environments is a plus.
• Skills:
• Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Proficiency in HRIS platforms (e.g., BambooHR, Workday), Google Products, and virtual collaboration tools.
• Strong written communication skills for drafting policies, reports, and employee correspondence.
• Knowledge:
• Understanding of GDPR, UK right-to-work requirements, and fundamental employment law.
• Familiarity with D&I principles and their application to HR processes.

Carers Trust Solihull is looking for a First Point of Contact Admin Volunteer who enjoys helping people and keeping things organised. You will welcome new carers, handle enquiries, and make sure every person who joins our service gets a smooth and supportive start.

What you will do
• Record new carer registrations using our simple database.
• Prepare and post welcome packs, including carer ID cards.
• Complete the short 5-question contingency plan with each new carer.
• Answer incoming calls and direct them to the right team.
• Respond to enquiries in a calm and professional way.
• Log actions and update records so carers receive accurate support.
• Signpost carers to Solihull Council services when needed.
• Follow confidentiality, safeguarding, and data protection procedures.

• Four to five hours a week, on a day that suits you.

Volunteer Administrator

British Liver Trust | Central Winchester

In the UK there are more than 11,000 deaths due to liver disease each year. British Liver Trust is determined to achieve real change in liver health and during our busiest period ever, we’re looking for volunteers to support our small, friendly Admin Team within the Operations Department. 

You might be looking for a meaningful way to use your skills, stay professionally active, or gain hands-on experience in an office environment.  Whether you're looking to build your CV, you're between roles, or you're looking to contribute your time to a cause that really matters, we’d love to hear from you.

The role

This is a varied, practical role supporting a busy office. You’ll be involved in the day-to-day administrative work that keeps things running smoothly, particularly when workloads are high. Examples of tasks include:

• Order fulfilment; picking, packing patient booklets and materials, preparing to be posted

• Supporting the team preparing for upcoming events; travel arrangements, accommodation, venues, catering

• General admin; filing, stock taking, shredding, scanning

While this is a volunteer role, the work is meaningful, active, and very much part of the core team.   You don’t need to have worked in a charity before - you just need a positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to get involved.

You’ll be based in our welcoming office in central Winchester, just a 5–10 minute walk from the train station. Please note there is no free on-site parking.

Our Admin Team is small, friendly and collaborative. You’ll be joining us at a critical and exciting time, when extra hands genuinely make a difference.
