OVERALL PURPOSE
This role requires a hands-on communicator who is passionate about profiling service user’s voices and creating opportunities for collaboration. Engagement Partner Collaboration:
® Work with the project managers and our local stakeholders to identify opportunities to increase the charity’s profile.
® Attend online and in-person meetings with local partners in Wolverhampton to profile our work.
® Generate partner commitment to WFRC’s campaigns and initiatives.
® Work collaboratively with local stakeholders to deliver communications and engagement strategies that showcase our partnerships and impact.

We are looking for a friendly, patient befriending volunteer to visit a lovely gentleman in New Southgate. He is keen to find an attentive listener who will show an interest in hearing his imaginative stories and will giggle at his jokes. He would love for someone to accompany him to McDonalds for a treat, to join him in a bit of music trivia, or sometimes for just a cup of tea and a chit chat.
We offer a lifelong befriending service for adults with learning disabilities. Matching the skills and interests of passionate visitors with the specific hobbies and interests of the people we visit. Visitors visit six times a year to create a 1-2-1 connection, offer companionship, encourage people to do the things they enjoy and check-in on their wellbeing. In many cases, the visitor is the only person in someone’s life who isn’t paid to be there for them.
This is an Out and about visit role which means your visits are likely to be longer, very active and the person you visit will often take an active part in planning your outings and activities in the community. Your volunteer manager will be happy to help you with ideas and suggestions for things you can do. Visits will vary in length but tends to be around a couple of hours, sometimes shorter or longer, depending on what you plan to do.
In this role you will spend quality time with the person you visit and could do a range of different activities like:
- Sitting and having a chat
- Checking in on their well- being
- Going out to a local café/pub for a meal/drink
- Take part on community activities like visiting a place of interest, go shopping etc.

Role Description
The Press/Media Manager will work closely with the Communication Officer to lead on the Pagan Federation's media strategy. We are currently losing around 10 million hectares of fertile soil worldwide. That's about 14 million football pitches. However, good soils are the source of more than 90% of our food. At the same time, the world's population will grow to 10 billion people by 2050. Food will therefore become scarce, especially high-quality food, as this depends on the quality of the soil. The effects of climate change are worsening the situation of soils because droughts and extreme rainfall are becoming more severe and more frequent. Zambia Orphans Aid UK (ZOA-UK) is looking for part-time volunteers to support our Digital & Communications work. The ideal candidates will have passion for all things digital and an interest in international development. We are seeking people who have good digital understanding, a flare for design and experience of creating social media content across a range of platforms.
You will possess a positive attitude together with a proactive approach to problem solving. You will be home-based and have the freedom to set your own hours, so self-motivation is essential.
Volunteers support ZOA-UK’s communications and digital activities to increase the reach, profile and influence of the charity and build our brand as a leading charity supporting orphans and vulnerable children in Africa. The volunteers will support the small team to create a cohesive and effective approach to delivering our messages to target audiences, driving supporter engagement and donations, and raising awareness of the needs of orphans and vulnerable children in Zambia.
Range of likely duties to include:
1. Write up case studies and stories of change and ensure they and accompanying photographs and video footage are stored securely in our image and case study database
2. Help build our social media activity to achieve measurable outcomes in terms of raising awareness, and increasing numbers of supporters who convert to become donors
3. Create and schedule inspiring content for social media channels – Instagram, facebook, X, linkedin, ticktock etc
4. Create blogs, infographics and other content for our wordpress website, supporter newsletters and annual report

The Role
We are seeking a compassionate, confident, and highly professional Volunteer Charities & Campaigns Relationship Manager to build and maintain relationships with charitable organisations, community groups, and individuals using crowdfunding pages.
This role involves guiding partners from initial contact through onboarding and maintaining ongoing rapport, ensuring they feel supported, understood, and valued throughout their involvement with the platform.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, approach, and invite suitable charities, community groups, and crowdfunding campaigns to join the platform
Guide partners through the onboarding process from first contact to launch
Build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with both organisations and individuals
Act as a key point of contact for enquiries, support, and reassurance
Maintain regular communication to sustain engagement and rapport
Support individuals who may be experiencing difficult or traumatic circumstances with sensitivity and professionalism
Coordinate with internal team members to ensure partners receive timely assistance
Provide clear information about how the platform works and what to expect
Maintain accurate records of communications and partnership activity using our CRM management system
Ensure all interactions reflect empathy, professionalism, and respect
Skills and Experience Required
Essential:
Strong relationship management or engagement experience
Excellent customer service skills
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Confidence communicating by phone, email, and online platforms
High level of empathy and emotional intelligence
Ability to communicate sensitively with people experiencing challenging circumstances
Strong IT skills, including confident use of computer databases and standard office software (e.g. Word, Excel)
Experience using a CRM or similar database system
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage multiple relationships
Professional, reliable, and approachable manner
Desirable:
Familiarity with HubSpot CRM (preferred but not essential as training will be provided)
Experience working with charities, community groups, or support services
Experience in partnerships, outreach, or fundraising roles
Experience working remotely within a team
Based in London or Hertfordshire for occasional in person meetings (not essential)
Working Arrangement
Fully remote position
Flexible working hours depending on organisational needs
Occasional support calls or meetings with partners
No travel required. However, if you choose to meet with partners in person, reasonable travel costs will be covered where possible

Position Overview
