Our website editor volunteers promote the activities of our local volunteer groups and teams by helping keep their websites relevant, up to date and engaging for members of the public. Local websites are one of the places members of the public will look to find out more about Cats Protection. A positive local profile can help raise funds, promote adopting a cat, promote neutering and make sure as many people as possible learn about great cat welfare.

You can expect us to

What we need from you

You’ll be:

• Sourcing news and information for websites
• Communicating with others across Cats Protection
• Sourcing and updating information around rehoming, cat welfare, fundraising and volunteer recruitment
• Regularly updating and posting on your group’s website using the charity’s content management system (CMS)
• Ensuring that content meets with internal and external policies and guidelines

Time expectation

Our website editor volunteers usually spend two to three hours per week in this role, which is flexible and can be shared by more than one volunteer if needed.

Influential Stars was founded by Lisa Connell, who is living with an inoperable brain tumour and has spent many years raising awareness and support for UK causes. The Role

We are seeking an experienced, highly organised, and proactive Volunteer Events Coordinator to manage activity experiences awarded to campaign winners and support the development of new partnerships.

This is a key operational role ensuring experiences run smoothly from planning through to completion, while also helping to secure activity sponsors for monthly charitable campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage activity bookings for campaign winners through partner providers

• Liaise directly with creators and winners to arrange meet and greet experiences

• Collect availability from winners for experiences booked on their behalf

• Confirm bookings, manage logistics, and communicate details clearly to all parties

• Send reminders and follow ups to ensure experiences proceed as planned

• Support post event engagement, including encouraging appropriate social sharing

• Build and maintain strong relationships with activity providers

• Proactively identify, approach, and secure activity providers willing to sponsor experiences for monthly charitable prize draws (ideally one per month)

• Assist in developing long term partnerships with activity sponsors and collaborators

• Organise security arrangements when required through approved security partners

• Maintain accurate records of bookings, communications, and outcomes using our CRM management system. Experience using a CRM or similar database is required. We currently use HubSpot, which would be advantageous, although not essential as training will be provided.

Skills and Experience Required

Essential:

• Proven experience in event coordination, event management, or a similar role

• Excellent customer service skills

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

• Proactive, resourceful, and confident in outreach and relationship building

• Professional, reliable, and solution focused

Desirable:

• Experience securing sponsorships or partnerships

• Experience working remotely within a team

• Interest in charitable or social impact work

• Based in London or Hertfordshire for occasional in person meetings (not essential)

Working Arrangement

• Fully remote position

• Flexible working hours with a minimum commitment of 15 hours per week

• No travel required. However, if you choose to meet with potential or existing partners in person, reasonable travel costs will be covered where possible.

 We create sensory activities, challenges and games featuring our bespoke disabled characters and take them to a variety of events and other organisations. And this is where you come in! We need volunteers to do lots of different jobs from big too small. Whether it's preparing activities, setting up, speaking to people or helping pack up, there's plenty to do.

What do we need from you?

About Us

We run free virtual and in-person peer support meetings for adults facing life’s difficult moments, particularly bereavement. 

The Opportunity

You'll help us spread our message that nobody should face grief alone, connect people to our free virtual and in-person peer support meetings, and grow an online community built on openness and compassion. • Create social media posts in line with our brand tone: inclusive, warm, and sensitive to the subject of bereavement
• Schedule and post updates about weekly peer support meetings and events

• Contribute creative ideas to help our mission reach more people online

MINDSET is building a new kind of men’s mental wellbeing and personal growth movement in the UK — one that speaks the language men actually respond to: doing, belonging, challenge, and shared purpose. The e-Assessment Association (eAA) is the leading professional membership body promoting better assessment through technology. We bring together awarding organisations, education providers, technology suppliers, researchers and policymakers to advance high-quality, innovative assessment practice in the UK and internationally.

We are now seeking a new Chair of the Board to lead the next phase of the Association’s development.

This is a high-impact governance role for an experienced senior leader who is passionate about assessment, education and technology, and who enjoys working collaboratively to make a difference across a complex and evolving sector.

The Chair plays a pivotal role in shaping the direction, influence and effectiveness of the eAA.

Working with a committed Board of Directors and a small, professional operational team, the Chair provides strategic leadership, ensures strong governance, and acts as an ambassador for the Association and its members.

The Chair of the eAA Limited also serves as Chair of the Board of e-Assessment Services Limited, the Association’s trading subsidiary, supporting the sustainability and growth of the organisation.

This is an opportunity to:

• support the continued professionalisation and growth of the Association; and

What you’ll be doing

As Chair, you will:

Provide strategic leadership

• Lead the Board in setting the strategic direction of the Association and monitoring progress against agreed objectives.
• Support the long-term sustainability, relevance and impact of the eAA.

Ensure strong governance

Ensure the Association operates within its governance framework and complies with all statutory and fiduciary duties.
Foster a positive, inclusive and professional Board culture that encourages open discussion, diverse perspectives and collective decision-making.
Work closely with the Vice-Chair and other Directors to maintain continuity and effective governance processes.
Support and challenge the Executive

• Provide support, guidance and constructive challenge to the CEO and operations team.

Represent and advocate

• Act as an ambassador for the Association with members, partners, sponsors and external stakeholders.

Essential experience and attributes

• Senior leadership experience within assessment, education or educational technology.
• A strong understanding of assessment principles and the role of technology in transforming assessment practice.

Influential Stars was founded by Lisa Connell, who is living with an inoperable brain tumour and has spent many years raising awareness and support for UK causes. The platform was created from a deeply personal belief that influence, connection, and community can be powerful forces for good when brought together in the right way.

Volunteers play a vital role in helping turn that vision into real world impact, enabling experiences that raise funds, create joy for winners, and support charitable organisations across the UK.

The Role

We are seeking a proactive, organised, and supportive Volunteer Campaign Support Coordinator to oversee and assist with live prize draw campaigns on the platform.

This role focuses on ensuring creators feel supported throughout their campaign, that key communications are delivered on time, and that each live draw runs as smoothly and successfully as possible.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and support all live prize draw campaigns on the platform

• Liaise with creators throughout the live campaign period to provide encouragement, guidance, and practical support

• Schedule, diarise, and send campaign communications using approved templates

• Coordinate with internal team members when campaigns go live

• Provide reminders, tips, and prompts to help creators maximise engagement

• Respond to creator enquiries and provide assistance as needed

• Conduct support calls where appropriate

• Maintain accurate records of communications and campaign progress using our CRM management system

• Ensure all tasks are completed in a timely and professional manner

Skills and Experience Required

Essential:

• Strong customer service experience

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Confidence using computers and online systems

• Experience using a CRM or similar database system

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to manage multiple tasks independently

• Supportive, positive, and professional approach

• Reliable and proactive working style

Desirable:

• Familiarity with HubSpot CRM (preferred but not essential as training will be provided)

• Experience supporting clients, customers, or account holders

• Experience working remotely within a team

• Interest in charitable or social impact work

Working Arrangement

• Fully remote position

• Flexible hours depending on the number of live campaigns

• Workload will vary as the platform grows

• Occasional (optional) in person team meetings
