Community Fundraiser - London

Brain Tumour Research is seeking an experienced and motivated fundraiser to join our team. As a key part of our fundraising efforts in our high-performing East region, you will have the opportunity to drive income generation through a variety of initiatives, including challenge events, fundraising groups, and corporate partnerships such as charity of the year. Key Responsibilities:

Training Manager
Immigration Law Practitioners’ Association (ILPA)
Location: Hybrid. Primarily remote with one weekly hub day in London. Working arrangements may change.

ILPA is a charity and professional membership body working to improve immigration, asylum and nationality law. Our training programme is a core part of our work and one of our largest income streams. In 2024/25 we delivered 67 courses and conferences to more than 2,300 practitioners across the UK, supporting lawyers, caseworkers, advisers and organisations working with migrants.
We are recruiting a Training Manager to run this programme end to end. This is a hands-on role that requires strong organisation, confidence with digital platforms and the ability to work with experienced external tutors. The post holder will shape the training calendar with support from the Training Advisory Board and maintain ILPA’s reputation for high-quality, practitioner-led training.
Key Responsibilities
Programme planning and development
• Build and manage the annual and quarterly training schedule
• Work with the Training Committee to identify priorities and emerging issues
• Balance advanced and introductory content across immigration, asylum and nationality law
• Plan and support hybrid conferences and ensure high-demand sessions are scheduled in good time
Tutor and content management
• Recruit, contract and manage ILPA’s panel of external tutors
• Provide clear briefings and support tutors in producing accurate, up-to-date materials
• Facilitate the Training Advisory Board and ensure actions are followed up
• Ensure training content remains high quality and aligned with ILPA’s values
Event delivery
• Set up all events on Eventbrite, including pricing, discounts, communications and refunds
• Host online sessions and support hybrid delivery when required
• Troubleshoot logistical and technical issues on the day
Income, reporting and evaluation
• Monitor bookings, attendance, cancellations and income
• Produce monthly performance reports for the Chief Executive and Finance and Office Manager
• Maintain high participant satisfaction and take action where improvements are needed
Marketing and engagement
• Draft course descriptions, learning outcomes and promotional copy
• Promote events through ILPA’s weekly all-member update and other communication channels
• Respond to participant queries and ensure a reliable customer experience
Systems and administration
• Maintain accurate records, contracts, schedules and evaluation data
• Process tutor invoices and ensure they match delivery
• Ensure compliance with GDPR and internal policies
Person Specification
Essential
• Experience managing training or professional development programmes
• Strong organisational skills and confidence managing a busy schedule
• Clear communication skills and ability to work with senior practitioners
• Good commercial judgement and experience generating income

About this job
We’re looking for a Senior Events Fundraiser to join our Community, Events, and Retail Fundraising team, leading on the delivery of our third party events activities.
You’ll plan, develop, and promote a well-established portfolio of third party challenge events, working to achieve set income targets, while ensuring an outstanding supporter experience for our event participants.
You’ll also be responsible for developing our third party events portfolio; monitoring and evaluating products, as well as innovating, to create opportunities for future growth.

About the role:
As our Operational Development Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in designing and delivering high-quality, evidence-based interventions and services that reduce alcohol-related harm. Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, you’ll ensure our programmes are inclusive, impactful, and grounded in behavioural science.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the design and delivery of harm reduction interventions and prevention.
- Driving operational planning and ensuring interventions align with public health objectives.
- Embedding quality assurance, safeguarding, and compliance across all programmes.
- Collaborating with teams including Digital, Marketing, Research, and Partnerships to deliver effective services.
- Representing Drinkaware externally with stakeholders, funders, and public health bodies.
This role also includes line management of two team members and offers the opportunity to influence strategic direction while maintaining hands-on delivery.

About the role
Do you live in Edinburgh or the surrounding area?
As a senior community fundraiser, you’ll be an important part of the team building Breast Cancer Now’s presence in Scotland, with a particular focus on Edinburgh and the surrounding areas.
We’re looking for someone who is an experienced relationship builder, someone who can find and develop new supporters. You’ll need excellent local knowledge, and the enthusiasm to develop a brand-new fundraising region.
The successful candidate will also be part of the team working on our large-scale project supporting and growing Asda Tickled Pink, our award-winning partnership with Asda and CoppaFeel! which has already raised over £100 million.
You’ll work directly with passionate colleagues across Asda stores in your region driving new fundraising initiatives, inspiring communities and celebrating incredible successes.
No 2 days will look the same as you travel, connect and engage supporters to help us grow income to deliver our mission.

About you
You’re confident in approaching new contacts and are experienced in developing new relationships from scratch. This may currently be in a customer service, account management or stewardship role.

Primary location of role
This is a remote role, and the candidate will need to be based in the Edinburgh area with unlimited access to their own car. Regular travel will be required to meet supporters and visit Asda stores in your region, as well as occasional travel to our London, Sheffield or Glasgow office.

Warm Wales is seeking a proactive and knowledgeable Fundraising Manager to play a key role in supporting our ambitions. You will lead income generation efforts for our forward-thinking charity. Key Duties & Responsibilities
General Income Generation
• Co-produce annual philanthropy and fundraising targets and take the lead responsibility to instigate and co-ordinate the activity that will achieve them.
