Job description

Services Website Officer.

Salary: c£30,300 per annum.

Location:  Remote.

Contract: Fixed Term Contract - 12 months, 35 hours per week.

A bit about the role

In this exciting new role, reporting to the Digital Platform Manager you will be the main point of contact between Digital communications and frontline Childrens Services colleagues, coordinating the delivery of new service websites and supporting with Childrens Services digital content and social channel requests.

How you'll help to create brighter futures

  • Liaising with frontline services staff to collate and deliver all their digital communications requirements.
  • Working with senior digital colleagues and services colleagues to scope new service website requirements.
  • Supporting senior colleagues with digital product planning and coordinating development sprints to deliver services digital requirements.
  • Continually improve the Action for Children services websites through liaison with stakeholders, highlighting website development opportunities.
  • Supporting new tender bids by collating digital requirements and website analytics summaries.
  • Triaging social media requests such as Facebook business page creation, YouTube uploads, page maintenance and troubleshooting issues.

Let's talk about you 

  • Experience in either digital product management or creative website content creation.
  • Approachable demeanour with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong time management with the ability to effectively prioritise a varied workload.
  • Confidence working with a CMS, Google Analytics, and project management tools.
  • Confidence working with Facebook business manager, YouTube, and social media best practice.
  • Excellent attention to detail, including proof-reading and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Knowledge of User Experience (UX) and Accessibility best practices.
