About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced research and insight professional to help shape how we use evidence to drive real and tangible change for people affected by breast cancer. With 1 in 7 women developing breast cancer in their lifetime, the insights you generate and coordinate will help us make impactful decisions that will help to change the course of breast cancer, and the lives of people affected.
Sitting in our impact, strategy and innovation team, you’ll play a key role in supporting major strategic programmes. You’ll have dedicated time to lead cross organisational discovery work, guide teams through what the evidence is telling us, and help turn insight into clear recommendations that support meaningful organisational change.
You’ll also support colleagues across the charity with their insight needs - joining the dots across teams, spotting gaps, sharing best practice, and helping build an organisational culture that confidently uses insight in everyday work.
Day to day, this means you might be leading on one of our core organisational insight products (like the Breast Cancer Compendium), coordinating evidence across teams, supporting commissioned research, or helping turn emerging insights into practical next steps. About you
We’re looking for someone with strong experience in research and insight, confident working with different types of evidence - from data and literature to lived experience. You’ll be skilled at distilling complex information and turning it into clear, actionable insight that helps teams understand what to do next, and you’ll be comfortable using digital research tools – bringing curiosity about emerging technologies that can help us work more efficiently and inclusively.
You’ll enjoy working collaboratively with a wide range of colleagues across policy, influencing, public health, research, support services, nursing, and more. You should feel comfortable facilitating conversations, presenting evidence and findings to a range of audiences including senior stakeholders. You’ll help colleagues move from insight to action - supporting them to understand what the evidence means and how it should shape their decisions and strategies.

The Role
As our Head of Fundraising & Business Development, you will lead efforts to secure and diversify funding, building a sustainable resource base to support our global mission.
Leading the Fundraising and Business Development Team, you will drive the implementation of our resource mobilisation strategy, focusing on increasing non-ODA income and expanding flexible and programmatic funding.
Working closely with colleagues across fundraising, finance, research and impact teams, you will help close funding gaps by developing strong donor relationships, negotiating funding agreements and shaping compelling funding propositions.
Alongside collaborating with the Director of Fundraising and Communications and supporting engagement with the Board of Trustees, you will manage systems, data and internal processes that strengthen fundraising performance and ensure effective delivery.

About You

About the role
We are seeking an experienced and thoughtful leader to join RABI as our new Head of Central Operations. This is a senior role at the centre of the organisation, reporting to the Director of People & Resources and working as part of the senior leadership team.
You will provide strategic leadership across finance, HR, estates and operational systems, while shaping and embedding a developing Data and Insights function.
Strong governance and financial stewardship remain essential. Beyond oversight, this role is about strengthening how RABI uses insight to inform decisions. You will help connect systems, people and data so that strategic choices are confident, transparent and evidence-led.

Yorkshire Wildlife Trust is one of the UK’s fastest growing nature conservation organisations and seeks to appoint a Visitor Destination Development Manager to transform our flagship nature reserves into pioneering places that inspire hope, drive action for nature and open their doors to everyone.
This is a rare opportunity to manage a project supported by The National Lottery Heritage Fund at a pivotal moment. You'll oversee specialist consultants across visitor experience, accessibility, commercial development and community stewardship; coordinate our project Steering Group and ensure the programme is rigorously evaluated and reported to our funder.
But this role is about more than process. You'll bring a wealth of experience and the confidence to drive real change – taking colleagues on the journey with you, building consensus and laying the groundwork for what comes next. Critically, you'll make sure everything we learn shapes the next chapter of development for our Flagship Nature Reserves.
You'll bring proven experience of managing complex, multi-strand programmes, ideally within the heritage, conservation or visitor destination sector, along with a track record of commissioning and managing external consultants to deliver high-quality outcomes. Strong stakeholder management skills are essential as you'll need to bring colleagues along on a shared journey, whilst managing funder relationships and reporting with rigour and care. You'll be able to synthesise complex information into clear recommendations and actionable next steps and communicate with confidence at a senior level.
