We are seeking a Digital Product Owner to join World Horse Welfare's Digital team based remotely on a 12 month fixed-term basis, working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm.
You will help shape, deliver and continuously improve digital services that support our charitable work. You will work closely with the Head of Digital, coordinating and overseeing the delivery of World Horse Welfare’s digital roadmap, ensuring that projects, teams and suppliers are aligned around clear priorities, timelines and dependencies.
This role acts as the connective point between Digital, Fundraising, Communications, Data, IT, UK and International Operations and external suppliers — ensuring that work is sequenced effectively, risks are managed early, and progress is communicated clearly.
This position is based remotely, however you will be required to attend the charity’s head office located in Norfolk a minimum of 6 times per year and this will be at your own expense for travel and accommodation. You must be a resident of the United Kingdom with all the necessary legislative ‘right to work’ documentation.

Programme Planning & Governance
Maintain and update the digital roadmap, ensuring clear sequencing, prioritisation and resourcing.
Run programme-level governance including reporting cycles, decision logs and RAID management.

Cross‑Team Coordination

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supporter Care & Communication
Provide high‑quality customer care across all channels, including telephone orders, donations, membership and general enquiries.
Answer all supporter queries professionally and within agreed timeframes.
Ensure supporters receive the correct communications in response to their donations.

Income Processing & Administration
Browse, create, amend and allocate payments to supporter records using data processing systems.
Reconcile income with daily income sheets.
Allocate income and produce daily income reports.
Take Direct Debits over the telephone in line with DD Scheme legal requirements.

Process payments received from third‑party agencies (e.g., JustGiving).

About the role
We’re excited to be recruiting a Data Protection Legal Counsel to play a central role in ensuring WWF-UK meets its data protection and privacy obligations and to provide support to the Legal team.
Sitting within the Legal, Compliance & Assurance team, this role works closely with colleagues across the organisation to embed strong data protection practice, provide expert advice, support compliance with UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and ICO guidance, and support in reviewing and drafting SaaS and digital services contracts.
You’ll be responsible for maintaining and strengthening WWF-UK’s data protection framework, advising on privacy risks and data processing activities, and ensuring data protection is built into projects and ways of working from the outset. Finally, you will provide legal support to the Legal team, including contract review, with a focus on draft data processing and sharing agreements, SaaS, IT licences and digital agreements.

The Somerset Environmental Records Centre (SERC) is a non-profit organization hosted by the Somerset Wildlife Trust. We serve as the county’s central hub for data regarding wildlife sightings, habitats, and geology.
About you and the Role
You’ll be part of a team where new software and techniques can do some of the heavy lifting, but we also need you to be resourceful and innovative in your thinking. You will work closely with our Data Manager and colleagues, to refine existing systems and processes, and ensure best practice is embedded in everything that we do. Including within the centre’s data acquisition, collation, synthesis, management and analysis, where diligence and achieving efficiencies, are both priorities.
Principal elements of the role are to assist in the Data Management process within SERC, data governance and policy, data collection and capture, storage, security, integration and analysis. This includes software management and working with existing data and acquiring or accessing new data and evidence from varying sources. You’ll help ensure all incoming and outgoing data processes run smoothly, securely and are up to date, to fulfil SERC’s mission as the ‘go to’ ecological data evidence provider for the county.
Whilst working closely with the Data Manager and Head of SERC, there will be opportunities for personal development and to work with other team members in the promotion and growth of SERC, ensuring environmental information is gathered, stored, analysed, interpreted and managed in line with the requirements of the SERC partnership.

About the role
We’re looking for a highly strategic Director of Policy with deep experience of influencing policy and political decision-making to lead WWF-UK’s policy development and influence at a critical moment for climate and nature.
This is a senior leadership role at the heart of WWF-UK’s strategy and impact. Working across advocacy, conservation, science, in the UK and internationally, you will shape and drive a small number of high-impact policy priorities capable of unlocking meaningful change across systems including food, finance, trade and land use.
You will lead a high-performing Policy team, strengthening WWF-UK’s ability to respond quickly and credibly to political opportunities with deliverable solutions. This is a role for someone who combines deep policy expertise with sharp political judgement, trusted relationship-building and the ability to influence both behind the scenes and at the highest levels externally.
Working with the advocacy Directorate, you will build and maintain trusted senior relationships across Whitehall, including with departments such as the Cabinet Office, Treasury and FCDO, helping shape thinking early and informally while also influencing policy development and implementation with colleagues and partners internationally.
Alongside leading and developing a collaborative and confident team, you will contribute as a senior organisational leader, helping shape direction, organisational outcomes and strategic decision-making across WWF-UK.

In this role, you will lead and support the use of legal strategies to strengthen WWF’s campaigns, policy work and business advocacy interventions. You will help identify opportunities where the law can drive meaningful change and support our strategic objectives, including tackling deforestation and supporting more sustainable supply chains and financial systems for climate and nature.
Working across priority portfolios and alongside colleagues in the UK and across the WWF network, you will provide and commission strategic legal advice that helps shape and strengthen our advocacy work. You will also identify and manage impactful legal interventions that advance WWF’s public interest objectives, while ensuring legal, reputational and strategic risks are effectively managed.
You will play a key role in ensuring WWF remains up to date with legislative and regulatory developments relevant to our influencing priorities and will build and maintain strong relationships with external legal counsel to support advocacy and campaigning work.
This role will act as WWF’s primary internal expert on how the law can be used to support and accelerate our strategic advocacy goals.

Skills and experience
You’ll bring the skills and experience needed to succeed in this role, including:
Essential
· Qualified solicitor or barrister holding a current UK practising certificate, or equivalent relevant experience or qualifications
· Significant post-qualification experience relevant to WWF’s aims, including experience supporting advocacy, campaigning or policy work
· Detailed knowledge and experience of advising on environmental, public or international law, with strong litigation skills
· Experience commissioning and managing external legal advice
· Sound legal judgement, with the ability to identify opportunities for legal advocacy to support influencing priorities
· Strong strategic and systems thinking skills, with the ability to see how legal interventions can drive wider systemic change
· Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal issues clearly to non-expert audiences
