About the role 

Breast Cancer Now is looking for a digital product operations manager to ensure our digital platforms remain robust, secure and high performing, enabling us to deliver excellent user experiences to everyone who needs our support.

You’ll play a pivotal role in our digital product operations, overseeing the health and performance of our main website (built on Umbraco CMS) and supporting other digital platforms where needed. Working closely with our managed service providers for hosting and infrastructure, you’ll manage updates, coordinate technical improvements and maintain compliance. Your work will be critical in building strong, reliable foundations for our digital strategy.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented digital team, external agencies and internal stakeholders to keep our platforms healthy, future-ready and delivering impact for people affected by breast cancer.

About you 

You’ll have proven experience managing digital platforms and working with developers, with a strong understanding of CMS platforms, hosting, APIs, security and performance optimisation. Familiarity with technical SEO, accessibility standards (WCAG), analytics tools and release management will be key.

You’ll be a clear and confident communicator who can explain technical concepts and collaborate effectively with colleagues across the organisation. Strong organisational skills, problem-solving ability and attention to detail are essential, as is a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

Job Title: Deputy Service Manager

Location:  Latimer Road, Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC) - Walking distance from Latimer Road underground station (Circle and Hammersmith and City Lines). Please note that unfortunately this service does not have step free access.

Salary: £34,000

Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 09:00 - 17:00. Some flexibility maybe required depending on the needs of the service. 

About the role

As Deputy Service Manager, you’ll support the Service Manager to ensure high quality service delivery. You’ll be a key contact for staff, helping them feel supported, skilled and confident in their roles. This service supports residents who have experienced long term street homelessness with challenges such as mental health issues, substance use and alcohol dependency. You’ll help create a positive, supportive environment where both staff and residents can thrive and residents can work towards recovery and greater independence.

You will be working within a 24 hour service which provides person centred support to our residents. Some key responsibilities include:

• Line management and leadership, offering guidance and support throughout the employee lifecycle.
• Support the Service Manager in leading the day to day operational delivery of the service.
• Risk Management ownership, ensuring processes and policies are followed.
• Property and housing management, ensuring accommodation standards, timely maintenance and reporting.
• Financial Management, including petty cash and budget management.
• Contract management and Internal auditing, admin, and general other duties as required.
• Striving to ensure excellence and quality in our service delivery.

We're looking for someone who’s driven to provide high quality, person centred support to staff, colleagues, residents and participants. You enjoy working as part of a team, communicating well and building strong relationships with people from all backgrounds. You're confident supporting service level enquiries, offering advice on employment matters and resident or participant queries. • Provide high quality support and line management to staff.
• Support the Service Manager and help manage staff with daily tasks, caseloads and overall day to day running of the service.
• Oversee and undertake regular audits of service delivery.
• Provide emergency on call service and ensure staffing levels are adequate.
• Support residents and participants to build independence by offering advice, guidance and a positive environment.
• Be an active team member by joining support sessions, workshops, and local events as needed.

The Order of St John ( is a global humanitarian organisation delivering first aid and community healthcare in more than 40 countries and territories worldwide.  It is supported by an International Office based in London.

With a new global fundraising operation in place, and a refreshed international strategy for the future, St John International is looking to expand its team. The Internal Relationship Manager will be the go-to person for Trustees and will keep an overview of what is going on across the Order’s various governance bodies, so that the work flows smoothly. You will work closely with the External Relations Manager as they implement our regional development and deliver on our relationships with St John establishments internationally. Responsibilities

• To support the Secretary General in providing strategic direction for the worldwide activities of the Order of St John.
• Acting as the focal point for the management of governance functions across the Order, setting timetables for meetings, agreeing agendas and writing minutes of key committees.
• Liaison with Great Officers (senior trustees) on travel plans to maintain a strategic approach to intervention and attendance at events across the network.

We are recruiting two Trainee Children’s Wellbeing Practitioners to join our Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health Team at YMCA East Surrey.

Trainee Children’s Wellbeing Practitioners (CWPs) will be expected to integrate into YMCA East Surrey’s Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health (EWMH) team and to support all early intervention work. You will assess and deliver (under supervision), outcome focused, evidence-based interventions to children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties.   

This Trainee Children's Wellbeing Practitioner role includes completion of the Child Wellbeing Practice Postgraduate or Graduate level Diploma run by the University of 

Sussex, which follows the nationally agreed curriculum to qualify as a Children's Wellbeing Practitioner.

The post holder must have experience of working with children, young people and families with multiple and/or complex needs and hold a minimum qualification equivalent to a NVQ Level 3 in a relevant field. In addition, the successful candidate must hold a valid UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle.

For the Level 6 (Graduate Diploma) the minimum level would be 3 x A-levels with grades of AAB - BBB (BBC if meet the criteria for contextual offer), or an equivalent qualification such as NVQ level 3 or above, or equivalent experience (and proven ability to work at graduate level). Evidence of experience of working with children and young people.

For the Level 7 (Post-graduate Diploma) the minimum requirement is a Graduate Degree at 2:2, NVQ level 6 or above in Health Care or equivalent experience (and proven ability to work at post-graduate level) 

Working Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday 9am to 5pm. Includes attendance at the University of Sussex 2 days per week from January to October.

Location: Tadworth, but working across various locations in East Surrey and attendance at the University of Sussex.

Key responsibilities:

· Working in partnership to support children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties

· To develop plans for successful intervention and agreed outcomes.

· To support and empower children, young people and families to make informed choices about the intervention.

· To always operate from an inclusive values base, which recognises and respects diversity.

· To accept referrals within agreed national and local protocols.

· To undertake accurate assessment of risk to self and others.

· To adhere to the service referral protocols. Under supervision, signpost unsuitable referrals to the relevant service as necessary.

· Through close case management and supervision, escalate cases where the level of need becomes beyond scope

· Provide a range of information and support for evidence based psychological treatments, primarily guided self-help.

· Attend multi-disciplinary meetings relating to referrals or CYP in treatment, where appropriate.

· Keep coherent records of all activity in line with service protocols and use these records and outcome data to inform decision making.

· Attend and fulfil all the requirements of the training element of the post including practical, academic and practice-based assessments.

· As well as attendance at the University for training, fulfil private study requirements to enhance learning and prepare assignments for examination - recommendation is 150 hours of study for each of the 8 modules, which includes the teaching days.

· Assess and integrate issues relating to transitions, education and training/employment into the overall therapeutic process.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Finance Officer to join our mental health charity, to support and deliver effective, efficient financial processes and compliance with financial regulations and data protection to ensure the smooth and effective running of the organisation. 

The successful candidate will report to the Senior Operations Manager and will involve managing financial transactions and reconciliation, maintaining accurate project records, supporting the production of management accounts, costing new work, budgeting and reporting as well as overseeing payroll.

You will need to demonstrate strong analytical skills and a passion for supporting mental health research.  Attention to detail, an administrative mind and a compassionate communicator are vital to this role as well as the ability to use your initiative and manage your own workload.  Every day will be different, with the opportunity for you to develop your skills and support our projects.

This post would ideally suit someone with excellent financial administration skills and project management experience.  The post holder will also need to have knowledge of Xero and QuickBooks accounting software

We’re currently recruiting full time or part time Mental Health Practitioners to work directly with young people in our schools Mental Health Teams. For this post you need to have a mental health qualification and at least two years’ experience of working with young people. We are also looking for people with an open and flexible attitude; excellent engagement skills and a passion for working with children and young people around mental health.

Responsibilities include offering a flexible range of short-term and longer-term mental health interventions to primary and secondary aged children and young people including individual and group-based support; workshops; crisis support; mental health themed activities.
