Role Description

The Programme Coordinator will be tasked with ensuring the smooth running of all student related events. This will include having a full understanding of the SEO-London law programmes; understanding the legal industry that the programme supports; how these fits into the SEO-London organisation and using this knowledge to liaise with students and client/partner firms to run, organise and market successful events. In turn this role will be responsible for using data to run reports to show the impact of each programme.  

Reporting to the Head of Law Programme, you will make recommendations for possible changes and ideas to further support the student experience. The role will also ensure a seamless and professional level of customer care to all students of the Corporate Law Programme and City Solicitors Horizons scheme.

Accountabilities

DAY TO DAY DELIVERY OF EVENTS 

• Responsible for the overall administration of all student events, with specific responsibility to ensure student communication is exceptional. Including event management, student and partner communication and coordination of all the relevant stakeholders, along with posting roles on opportunities pages, promoting events and managing the law commercial awareness newsletter content.  

 
STUDENT MANAGEMENT & QUERY HANDLING 

• Responsible for the relationship management of the students - including the ability to understand needs, resolve issues and anticipating and creating a strong relationship on behalf of SEO-London 
• Responsible for managing student query escalations and to identify where there are opportunities to improve communication, marketing, or the type of events 
• Responsible for managing the programme inbox (where applicable) 
• Responsible for identifying creative and innovative ways to connect, educate and train students
• Provide oversight of cv support, screening, and recruitment preparation  
• Responsible for attending campus events and representing SEO-London professionally with knowledge and enthusiasm 
• Organise mentoring and buddying allocations  

 QUALITY ASSURANCE 

• Responsible for ensuring that all information relating to the events and student data is managed within the GDPR guidelines and is updated in Salesforce effectively for tracking purposes.  Responsible for running reports to track and monitor events from the CRM.

Skills & Experience

We are looking for applicants with 1–2 years of experience in some of the areas listed below and a willingness to learn and develop additional skills:

Essential

• Strong presentation skills with the ability to deliver engaging online sessions
• Excellent business writing and organisational skills
• Strong stakeholder management abilities
• A keen interest in, and some knowledge of, an aspiring solicitor’s early career journey (school and university stages)
• A collaborative team player with a “can-do” attitude, able to handle requests at short notice and work under pressure
• Ability to use Teams and Zoom, including creating and managing breakout rooms
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

PEAS is looking for a Global Technology and Operations Lead (maternity cover for 12 months) to drive the delivery of impactful digital solutions that strengthen our education programmes across Africa. This strategic role sits within Global Operations and works closely with colleagues in the UK, Uganda and Zambia to design, build and implement technology that improves organisational efficiency and supports high‑quality education delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of major technology initiatives, from scoping and user research through to implementation, rollout and evaluation.
• Manage product roadmaps, requirements, timelines and vendor partnerships to ensure effective delivery.
• Support development of PEAS’ future technology strategy, providing insight on emerging tools and trends.

Early Literacy Interventionist (South London)

Are you looking for a new challenge? Are you keen to work with children to support and develop their phonics and reading skills? 

37% of children from disadvantaged backgrounds left primary school in England in 2025 unable to read to the expected standard (KS2 attainment data 24-25) . Chapter One is a fast-growing charity, with a vision of a world in which all children have the literacy skills they need to thrive. We work to ensure that all children have 1:1 reading support at the time they need it most.

Our Early Literacy Intervention (ELI) programme (based on a model that serves 20,000 children successfully in the USA) provides daily, 1:1, 7 minute phonics sessions for children who are behind in phonics. Using a bespoke technology tool, a trained Early Literacy Interventionist works individually with target children. 

This ELI role, reporting to the Senior ELI Programme Manager, is a great opportunity for someone who wants to develop and grow their knowledge of phonics and/or their teaching skill set. It is ideal for someone with previous school experience who is looking for a new and exciting challenge.

You will conduct initial baseline assessments and then deliver differentiated, 1:1, targeted, 7 minute phonics sessions to pupils using a systematic, synthetic approach. Although you are employed by Chapter One, you will work closely with the school team to understand the progression of the school’s phonics teaching; establish tailored plans for each child and feedback on pupil progress. Using your knowledge and insight, you will also collaborate with colleagues at Chapter One to further improve the ELI model, the online tool and programme delivery.

The Bridge is a women’s health and wellbeing charity based in Southwark, one of London’s most diverse yet disadvantaged boroughs. Founded over 90 years ago, our purpose is to create spaces where women of all ages and backgrounds can connect, improve their health, and build resilience.

Our building brings everything under one roof: a women-only gym, a welcoming café, a range of wellbeing programmes covering all aspects of women’s lives, and specialist support groups for all sections of the community. Together these services offer accessible, affordable opportunities to look after both body and mind, while tackling social isolation and inequality.

We work together with communities who often feel left behind, offering a friendly, accessible place to turn to whatever their individual needs or circumstances. Over the decades, The Bridge has been a constant in people’s lives, even as the area around us has faced both growth and hardship.

About the role 

The Head of Income Generation will play a pivotal role in strengthening the financial sustainability and social impact of our organisation. This 12-month position—open to both employees and consultants—will lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive income generation strategy across our three social businesses: our women’s-only gym and studio, our community café, and our meeting room hire service.

Working closely with the leadership team, the postholder will identify new income opportunities, enhance the visibility and market reach of our social enterprises, and ensure that all business activity aligns with our mission to improve women’s health and wellbeing.

This role is both strategic and hands-on—ideal for a results-driven professional who combines commercial acumen with a deep commitment to social purpose. By driving growth in our social businesses and expanding our audience reach, the Head of Income Generation will directly contribute to closing our organisational deficit by 2029 and amplifying our social impact

The Gym – Movement, Confidence, and Connection

Our women-only gym provides a safe and empowering environment for over 600 women to move, learn, and thrive. Led by trauma-informed trainers with expertise in women’s health, it offers 29 weekly classes that prioritise confidence, joy, and holistic wellbeing rather than weight loss. The gym embodies our commitment to preventative health and creates an inclusive community where women of all ages and backgrounds can focus on their strength, resilience, and self-care. As a cornerstone of our trading model, it sustains our mission while directly advancing it.

The gym has seen significant growth in both membership and the breadth of its offer, establishing itself as a trusted and empowering space for women’s health and wellbeing. With excellent member retention rates and a strong reputation for inclusivity, safety, and quality, the gym is now well positioned for its next stage of development. We see substantial potential to expand its reach, increase profitability, and deepen its social impact by engaging more women from our local and wider communities. A key focus will be on leveraging our existing member community to support peer recruitment and referral, strengthening the sense of belonging while driving sustainable growth. This next phase will build on the gym’s solid foundations to enhance both its commercial success and its contribution to The Bridge’s mission

The Café – Nourishing Food, Nurturing Community

Our café is the social heart of The Bridge — a welcoming, accessible, and inclusive space where everyone can connect, share, and feel at home. Serving seasonal, plant-based meals prepared in-house, the café champions women-led enterprises and affordable, healthy food. It hosts many of our wellbeing and creative programmes, and through initiatives like the Pay-What-You-Can Supper Club, supports emerging women chefs and builds everyday acts of care and solidarity. The café has the opportunity to not only advances our mission of improving women’s health and wellbeing but also generates vital trading income and partnership opportunities. 

While it currently operates at a deficit, it plays a vital role in advancing our wellbeing and community objectives. We are now focused on realising its full commercial potential. A feasibility study is underway to explore a range of operational and business models that will transition the café into a sustainable, profit-making enterprise. Plans include expanding income-generating opportunities through hosting more events, developing an external catering offer, and maximising use of the space for private hire and functions during weekends. This work will ensure the café continues to embody our values while contributing significantly to the financial sustainability of The Bridge

Room Hire – Spaces that Enable Collaboration and Impact

Our professional meeting and event spaces are used by charities, community groups, and corporate partners for workshops, training, and strategic planning. With over 500 bookings a year and a 89% return rate, these rooms are known for their quality, warmth, and service. The income they generate supports our wider mission, while also acting as a catalyst for new partnerships and collaborations. 

We now aim to build on this success by increasing utilisation on our most popular days (Tuesday to Thursday) and attracting new clients to fill capacity on Mondays, Fridays, evenings, and weekends. Plans include developing loyalty packages for regular clients and introducing new offers such as team wellbeing days that align with our health and wellbeing ethos. This approach will not only maximise income potential but also strengthen The Bridge’s role as a space where organisations connect, collaborate, and thrive.

Key responsibilities: 

1. Income Generation Strategy

· Develop and implement a comprehensive income generation strategy for our social businesses (women’s-only gym and studio, café, and meeting room hire).

· Identify and pursue new revenue opportunities while aligning with the organisation’s mission and values.

· Monitor financial performance and make recommendations to meet growth and sustainability targets. 

· Monitor return on investment of additional marketing spend

· Budget setting and management of cafe, gym and marketing budgets 

· Support the development of medium-term (3-5 year) income generation roadmap to support sustainability, recommending organisational changes and scalable models beyond the 12 months.

2. Business Development and Partnerships

· Together with the CEO, build and maintain relationships with local businesses, community organisations, and stakeholders to drive collaboration and income growth.

· Explore new partnership opportunities that enhance both revenue and social impact.

5. Line and Task Management

· Provide leadership, guidance, and performance management for 1 or 2 managers

· Task manage the Head of Operations, who oversees room hire services, ensuring alignment with income generation and marketing priorities.

6. Performance Monitoring and Reporting

· Set measurable targets for income generation and and track progress regularly.

· Implement a CRM and/or data-dashboard system to track customer/member acquisition, retention, income per stream, marketing campaign performance, and present monthly/quarterly reports to CEO and Board.

· Report to the leadership team on performance, insights, and opportunities for improvement.

7. Values-Driven Leadership

· Embed the organisation’s mission and values into all business and marketing activities.

· Serve as a member of the Senior Leadership Team, contributing to organisational strategy, decision-making, and long-term planning.

Person Specification 

Qualifications

· Relevant degree or professional qualification in business, social enterprise, or a related field.

· Professional development in leadership or business management is desirable.

Experience

· Proven experience of running or scaling a trading/social enterprise business (profit and loss accountability, membership acquisition/retention, pricing strategy, customer marketing). Ideally, specifically in at least one of the key areas of the business. 

· Demonstrated track record of successfully managing multiple business streams or revenue-generating projects. 

· Demonstrable ability to build, develop and lead a multi-disciplinary team (across café, gym, marketing/social media) and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

· Experience in developing partnerships and networks with other businesses and organisation that generate revenue and social impact.

Skills and Competencies

· Strong strategic thinking and planning skills with the ability to translate strategy into actionable plans.

· Excellent leadership, team management, and people development skills.

Breck Foundation

Breck Foundation is at the forefront of efforts to safeguard children and young people online. Our organisation was founded in 2014 in response to the tragic loss of Breck Bednar, a 14-year-old boy who was groomed and murdered by someone he met online. Our work aims to prevent this from ever happening again. Our work saves lives.  We reach thousands of children and young people in schools and other community settings with Breck's story every year. Our talks and educational materials fill a gap in the current UK curriculum that otherwise leaves children vulnerable to online grooming and exploitation.

With 98% of young people now active internet users, current and future generations grow up having to navigate new and evolving digital dangers. We are committed to making the internet a place where children can live, play and thrive in safety. We are helping young people reclaim the internet.

The Role

Children’s online safety is both an important and an urgent issue and the need for our unique work here at Breck Foundation is greater now than ever. The primary purpose of this role is to help children and young people take practical steps to become more digitally resilient and be safer online. Our East of England Education Programme Officer will introduce the highly impactful Breck’s story into schools and other youth and community spaces and deliver inspiring, educational talks to students, parents and guardians, teachers and other groups in a ‘whole community’ approach.

The role is fully remote, but post holder will be willing and able to easily travel to various locations within the East of England as and when necessary to fulfil the requirements of the role as well as to engage with colleagues virtually and in person in London four times a year.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Programme Delivery

• Coordinate all practical arrangements necessary for successful delivery and post-delivery activities in schools, including the timely transmission of digital files; and liaising with relevant colleagues to ensure timely delivery of materials and promotional merchandise to schools.
• Responsibility for delivering sessions tailored to educate/inform children/parents and teachers as well as carrying out all pre- and post-delivery engagements.
• Respond to any questions, disclosures or safeguarding concerns raised during sessions and follow up where necessary with the school safeguarding team or, where consent is secured, make onward referrals for additional support in specific cases.
• Contribute to the continuous development of all aspects of the programme, sharing new ideas and using best practice, including keeping programme presentations up to date or, when applicable, working on this together with relevant colleagues, ensuring that presentations used in schools across the organisation are always uniform and consistent.
• Maintain accurate records of programme activities, including record of input, output, and impact as well as demographics data, and monitor and periodically evaluate and report on impact.

Stakeholder Development/Management

• Seek and maximise opportunities for building relationships with groups of schools (primary and secondary) and relevant education/teaching groups, unions and networks, with a view to raising the profile of the programme and generating interest in it.
• Develop and manage ongoing relationships with individual schools to secure their repeat, annual participation in the programme or repeat bookings for paid presentations.

Publicity/Marketing/Communications

• Promote the offer to all types of schools (state and private), working with relevant colleagues to create impactful publicity/marketing assets and to make contact and register schools’ interests. 
• Maximise opportunities for generating communication assets and publicity during delivery in schools, including through video recordings, photographs, testimonials, Vox Pops, collection of social media handles for mentions etc., ensuring to follow school guidance and secure necessary permissions.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities

• Objectively review the successes and achievements against agreed objectives, identifying strengths, weaknesses and risks, as well as suggesting improvement.
• Depending on experience and qualifications of post-holder, to be receptive to any other duties as required, in line with the needs of Breck Foundation.
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues and other professionals, and to participate in team meetings.
• To participate in personal supervision in accordance with Breck Foundation’s supervision and performance appraisal policy and attend agreed training as relevant.

An exciting opportunity to help turn a new national initiative into reality as it moves from planning into delivery. Over the next year, we will be launching a new, national Foundation Degree while building the foundations of a wider programme of work. This role will play a key part in making that launch happen in practice, working flexibly across partnership development, recruitment and onboarding, and organisational development. Royal Liverpool Philharmonic is now seeking an exceptional and visionary Director of Development to lead its fundraising at a pivotal moment in its evolution.
