Approaching 60% of this audience is overseas.

Art UK provides significant support to museums and galleries in the UK, by providing them with a shared digital platform to showcase their art collections, reach new audiences, and generate income. Most of these collections would not be able to show their art online without Art UK. The Art UK platform is rich in story content, learning resources for teachers and students, and public engagement opportunities. A shared e-commerce infrastructure helps collections generate much needed commercial income. 

About You

As the Philanthropy Manager, you will be a confident and persuasive communicator, comfortable engaging with supporters and stakeholders at all levels. You will have a solid knowledge of philanthropic giving and a deep appreciation of the value of high-quality donor stewardship. Highly organised and detail-focused, you will enjoy working with data and be skilled at producing compelling content both on and offline. You will bring initiative, creativity and the ability to work independently, while also being a collaborative team player.

You will lead on managing and growing Art UK’s philanthropic giving programme, which includes the Patrons and supporter events programme and our major donor activity. You will be part of a small, committed Development team that raises funds across a broad range of income streams: trusts and foundations, public funding, corporates, high-net-worth individuals, online giving, and patron schemes. You will report to the Head of Development, work closely with the CEO and Chair of the Philanthropy Board, and collaborate with colleagues across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a pipeline of new philanthropic giving opportunities by researching, identifying and cultivating philanthropic supporters (£1k+) with the potential to give major gifts and multi-year support
• Create and implement donor development plans, working with the Head of Development and colleagues to guide our approach to new philanthropic support
• Develop bespoke cultivation and solicitation strategies, producing creative and compelling proposals to secure substantial philanthropic gifts
• Work closely with the Marketing team and other colleagues to showcase Art UK’s work and enhance donor engagement
• Create bespoke and compelling written proposals and support senior leadership and board members in the preparation and delivery of high-quality donor pitches to secure new philanthropic partnerships
• Provide exceptional stewardship for new and existing supporters, ensuring they feel valued and can clearly see the impact of their contribution
• Plan and deliver the fundraising and stewardship events programme (with support from the wider team), including attending events where appropriate
• Monitor progress against targets and maintain accurate reporting, including updates to Art UK’s Board of Trustees and the Philanthropy Board
• Ensure pledges and donations are processed efficiently and that donors are thanked promptly and personally
• Work closely with all members of the Development team to ensure prospecting and cultivation activity is aligned and complementary
• Ensure all philanthropic fundraising activity is conducted in line with legal, regulatory and ethical best practice e.g. GDPR and the Chartered Institute of Fundraising Code of Practice

We have an exciting opportunity to join MASH’s staff team. We are looking for a Homeless Outreach Worker to join the team at MASH and provide support to women in Manchester. This role is part time at 21 hours per week and will include two night-time outreach shifts per week driving the MASH van.

Purpose of the role

To work with other members of the MASH team to achieve the following outcomes for women who sex work:

Using a gender and trauma-informed approach, the Homeless Outreach Worker will deliver two sessions of street outreach each week. This will involve driving and taking the MASH mobile vehicle into areas of Manchester where women are engaged in sex work on the street. The role involves delivering a harm reduction approach to offer a quality service to women to improve health, housing and safety outcomes. This will be delivered with a respectful and non-judgemental approach assisting women to reduce harmful behaviours and improving access to a range of services to improve their outcomes. You will need a full driving license and be comfortable driving a large vehicle with manual gears.

The Role;

• Provide a caring, safe, secure and accepting environment that meets the physical, health, social needs and rights of the young people. The Veterans’ Foundation’s purpose is to improve the lives of all within the armed forces community who are in need. They do this by raising funds which they award to organisations having a real impact on those currently serving, veterans and their families. Military charities undertaking life-changing work need vital funds to support and sustain their work with beneficiaries.

One of the UK’s fastest-growing military charities, the Veterans’ Foundation was established in 2016 to support serving and former members of the armed forces, operationally qualified seafarers, and their families who are in need. Since its launch, the Foundation has awarded over £30 million in grants to nearly 500 charities and organisations delivering more than 1,000 life-changing projects across the UK. Grants range from a few hundred pounds to £200,000 and support a wide range of needs, including mental health, homelessness, poverty and social isolation. The charity is primarily funded by the Veterans’ Lottery, the UK’s largest single-charity lottery.

We are looking for x1 permanent full time (35 hours per week) and x1 0.5 FTE (17.5 hours per week) FTC (18 months) Grants Assessment Officers to join the Grants Team at the Veterans' Foundation. The Grants Assessment Officer plays a vital role in the assessment of grant requests and will maximise the impact and effectiveness of the Foundation’s funding by ensuring we are supporting projects and activities which are closely aligned to our strategic priorities.

The key focus of the role is the assessment of applications across our existing Grant Programmes, reviewing grant monitoring and providing appropriate levels of support to grant holders during the period of funding.

The post holder will help ensure our grant application processes run efficiently and effectively, carrying out thorough desk and UK-wide field-based assessment of applications made to the foundation.  They will be a key point of contact for external enquiries to the Grants Team.

ROLE OVERVIEW

About The Role
We are recruiting for a Data Selections Executive* to join on a full-time basis, working 35 hours per week on a fixed term contract until May 2026.

This is a wonderful opportunity to join the Supporter Selections Team at Alzheimer’s Society in what is a really exciting time for both the charity and the team. You will be joining the team as we further develop our selections by using insight, both in and post-campaign and highly relevant and individualised supporter experiences to drive our communications and improve supporter journeys.

As Data Selections Executive you will play an integral role in helping us achieve this alongside exploring new and improved ways of delivering our selections and supporter journeys, plus enhancing our processes through improvements to our systems.

You will be responsible for working with teams from across the Income & Engagement directorate to ensure the successful delivery of accurate and targeted selections to contribute to positive marketing activity and stewardship, plus the design and production of multi-stage supporter journeys through the use of PeopleStage, our campaign planning and management tool.

As an expert and a critical friend to Income & Engagement colleagues and stakeholders, you will play a crucial role in deepening our awareness of Alzheimer’s Society’s supporters, particularly concerning their next best action. Through using accessible campaign results, data models and other sources of insight, you will enable colleagues to test hypotheses and pivot campaign comms to drive satisfaction and sustainable growth across Alzheimer’s Society’s audiences.

About you
Joining us, you’ll have relevant experience in a data or marketing role with experience of using FastStats data selections software or similar. You’ll have experience in data segmentation and selection with experience of using Excel to manipulate, manage and analyse data. You’ll be able to us campaign planning and management tools, such as PeopleStage or similar tools.

Crucially, you’ll be a good communicator with the ability to work well with a broad range of audiences and you’ll have experience briefing and working with external suppliers. You’ll also be able to manage your workload and prioritise tasks effectively whilst adopting an innovative approach to problem solving.

We are looking for a Policy Officer to join our busy team, specialising in welfare and employment policy. This role will see you working to influence the policy landscape, and develop evidence-based policy positions, on issues concerning finances and debt, welfare benefits, and employment, affecting the Armed Forces community.

Reporting to the Policy Manager, key responsibilities will include:

- Monitor the policy landscape and upcoming policy development across the welfare and employment portfolio, within central, local, and devolved government

- Use qualitative and quantitative research, policy analysis and lived experience to develop robust, evidence-based policy positions and proposals
- Identify, establish, and maintain an impactful network of key policy stakeholders across the charity sector and government
- Represent RBL publicly through securing opportunities to present policy issues and products, including at relevant events, workshops, external committees and working groups

You will be contracted to your home address, and you will perform most of your work remotely there using our collaboration tools to work with colleagues, with occasional travel (incl. for monthly team meetings) to our London Head Office hub.

We are recruiting for a Senior Creative Copywriter to join on a full-time basis, working 35 hours per week on a permanent contract.

Right now, in an era of new breakthroughs in treatments and research, it’s more important than ever that we raise awareness of the devastation of dementia and our mission to create a future where dementia no longer devastates lives. This is a pivotal moment in the fight against dementia. Developing our organisational and brand strategy over the last few years has played a key part in raising the profile of our cause. Now we’re building on that momentum - and successful, strategic creative development and execution of our brand is essential to maintain our reputation and credibility as a leading dementia charity.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the senior in-house creative team, inspiring colleagues to produce consistently excellent creative work and nurturing our brand. As Senior Creative Copywriter you will work collaboratively with our design, video, brand, fundraising, marketing and communications teams across the charity, to support income generation and extend our audience reach. You’ll line manage our Fundraising Communications Manager, work in creative partnership with our Senior Creative Designer and collaborate with marketing and communications teams.

About you

- Leading on all creative copy concepts for in-house creative projects and composing and crafting engaging copy for campaigns and other comms, across all touchpoints.
- Generating ideas and concepts collaboratively with our designers and videographers to create consistently outstanding creative work across all our creative disciplines.
- Line managing the Fundraising Communications Manager, ensuring workflows, workload and tools facilitate excellence in working practices and delivery.
- Gaining a deep understanding of the Society’s strategies and objectives, key audiences, brand challenges, and project priorities.
- Working with Brand Integration to embed our messaging, proof points and tone of voice to communicate these to the wider organisation, ensuring they are kept up to date and expanded according to the organisation’s strategic needs.
- Develop and delivering training to introduce and embed tone of voice and messaging, running regular specialist writing and creative workshops for marketing colleagues and others across the organisation who create comms materials for our audiences.

Queenscourt Hospice is an independent charity that provides free, specialist palliative care for the people of Southport, Formby and West Lancashire. We care for patients with advanced progressive illnesses helping them to achieve the best possible quality of life.

We receive only just over a fifth of our costs from the NHS and generate additional funds from charitable donations and support of the local community.

The role of Director of Business and Strategy Development has responsibility for all Non-Clinical Services which include Finance, Human Resources, Estates, Education, Technology and Income Generation.

This pivotal role encompasses significant executive responsibilities and the successful post holder will require a broad skillset. Of particular importance will be strong leadership skills; solid grounding in business acumen with an excellent understanding of financial reports, contracting and commissioning processes. We’re looking for a caring, motivated and hands-on Community Worker to join our team. You’ll help run our Soup Kitchen sessions at St Peter’s Church in Blackpool’s South Shore, making sure food preparation, service and cleanup run smoothly. You’ll also provide support to people and families facing difficulties such as homelessness, addiction, debt, housing insecurity, mental ill-health or domestic violence. The role includes gathering feedback from attendees, working with volunteers, and building links with local schools, councillors, faith and community groups.

Sibs is the UK charity dedicated to supporting siblings of disabled children and adults. As our YoungSibs Information Officer, you’ll be responsible for managing and delivering high-quality information and resources to support children and young people who are growing up with a disabled brother or sister.

Key Responsibilities:

• To manage and develop new information and self-help resources for school-age young siblings
• To respond directly to young siblings’ requests for information and support
• To respond directly to parental requests for information and support submitted via the main Sibs website
• To build relationships with statutory and voluntary sector organisations in order to explore opportunities to increase Sibs’ reach to young siblings

About You

You’re an excellent communicator, with an understanding of the children’s sector. You will need a sharp eye for detail and a passion for providing accessible, user-friendly information for young people. You will have an understanding of the lifelong impact of being a sibling to a disabled and skilled in writing for different audiences.

• Experience of one-to-one direct supportive work with children and young people. Experience of direct working with siblings of disabled children and/or young carers is desirable.
