Job description

Do you have experience of, or an interest in marketing? Would you like to use your excellent administration skills and attention to detail to help us Beat Macular Disease?

If you have experience coordinating direct marketing campaigns across multiple channels and audiences, managing multiple pieces of work at the same time, and inspiring people to support the fight against macular disease, we’d love to hear from you.

As part of our friendly and collaborative individual giving team, you’ll support recruiting and developing new supporters and building long-term relationships that generate vital income to help Beat Macular Disease.

With ambitious plans to grow our fundraising programme over the next five years, you’ll play an important role in helping us meet the needs of our members and donors.

As our individual giving marketing officer, you will:

  • Coordinate individual giving acquisition and retention campaigns, including managing schedules, supporting data selection and working with colleagues to deliver campaigns on time.
  • Help deliver campaigns on time, to budget and to a high standard of quality.
  • Work with colleagues from other teams with creative development and approvals, helping to brief print and securely share data.
  • Regularly monitor campaign results and feed into campaign reporting, making recommendations where possible.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with other colleagues, suppliers across print, postage and other marketing agencies.
  • Optimise campaigns by identifying opportunities for improvement and growth, making recommendations to improve results and escalating issues where appropriate

In line with our value of "Showing we care", we ask that the covering letter is written in your own words and not heavily reliant on AI generated content.
