We’re looking for an Active Communities Connector to join our growing team.

We are seeking a Supporter Services Administrator to join World Horse Welfare's Fundraising Supporter Services team based at our Head Office in Snetterton, Norfolk on a 12 month fixed-term basis, working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm.

This role is key in providing excellent customer service to the charity’s supporters, processing all charity income efficiently, and maintaining the supporter database to the highest standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Supporter Care & Communication

• Provide high‑quality customer care across all channels, including telephone orders, donations, membership and general enquiries.

• Answer all supporter queries professionally and within agreed timeframes.

• Ensure supporters receive the correct communications in response to their donations.

• Produce timely and accurate thank‑you letters.

Income Processing & Administration

• Browse, create, amend and allocate payments to supporter records using data processing systems.

• Reconcile income with daily income sheets.

• Allocate income and produce daily income reports.

• Take Direct Debits over the telephone in line with DD Scheme legal requirements.

• Administer all charity income paid by Direct Debit.

• Process payments received from third‑party agencies (e.g., JustGiving).

Database & Record Management

• Create and maintain accurate supporter records on the charity’s CRM system.

• Liaise across the charity to ensure all agreed stakeholders are administered effectively and efficiently.

Fundraising Support

• Assist the fundraising team with administration and fulfilment of supporter products, including merchandise sales and the individual giving programme.

General Administration

• Sort and open Head Office post in line with service level agreements and standard operating procedures.

• Undertake other tasks as directed by the Senior Supporter Services Officer.

Health & Safety Responsibilities

• Comply with World Horse Welfare policies to ensure risks in the working environment are minimised.

• Raise any health and safety concerns with your Line Manager or the charity’s Health & Safety Advisor.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Experience & Knowledge
Essential:

• Experience in data entry and administration.

• Proven customer service experience, including handling enquiries and resolving issues.

• Good understanding of database functionality.

• Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Desirable:

• Working knowledge of mail‑order systems.

• Telephone sales experience.

You will also work closely in partnership with various organisations to support the different needs of our participants, which may include signposting. • Support residents who may be facing challenges with their housing and long-term living

Hospice in the Weald provides care completely free of charge to patients with a terminal illness and those important to them, in West Kent and northern East Sussex. About the role

This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a senior leadership position at one of the region’s most loved charities. 'We are looking to appoint a Family Support Worker on a full-time basis (35 hours, 5 days per week) to deliver a high-quality family support service as part of our Kentown Team Team to families in the local area, at a time where they need it most.

Reporting to the Family Support Manager of the Kentown Team and working in partnership with health, education and social care professionals, you will take responsibility for providing needs-led emotional, social and practical support to families where a child or young person has a life threatening or terminal illness. You will enjoy responsibility for managing your own schedule, remaining flexible to the needs of the families on your caseload.

Having worked in a demanding and emotional environment you have a genuine interest in building supportive relationships and helping people; and having provided bereavement support to families, you understand processes of grief, loss and change - and how best to help others deal with its impact.

Acorns Children's Hospice are looking for a Children's Palliative Community Clinical Lead to join the team in our Three Counties Hospice, Worcester. The Community Clinical Lead will manage a multi-disciplinary team, develop programmes of care and provide nursing care to children and young people with a range of complex health needs, life limiting or life-threatening conditions in the community.

As Children’s Palliative Community Clinical Lead, you will:

• Manage and be responsible for the supervision and development of a multi-disciplinary team
• Demonstrate expertise in symptom management and end of life care including after death care, to support staff to develop skills
• Holistically assess the situation and needs of children with life limiting conditions inclusive of family needs and demonstrate specialist clinical knowledge for the delivery of high-quality patient care
• Work collaboratively with initiating, planning and facilitating multi-disciplinary discharge and care planning meetings
• Advocate for children and their families with other professionals for access to services regarding end of life plans/symptom control promoting the child and family’s points of view
• Provide health education information to the child and family, to promote a healthy lifestyle and where appropriate address public health issues

The Role

The Global Financial Controller is responsible for leading Lumos’ financial control, reporting and compliance framework across the organisation, ensuring strong stewardship, financial integrity and transparency across all entities and jurisdictions.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Director of Strategic Finance, Executive Leadership Team, Board of Directors and external auditors, while leading and developing a high-performing global finance team. The role will also deputise for the Director of Strategic Finance where required.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of annual statutory accounts and consolidated group financial statements in accordance with Charity SORP and relevant accounting standards.
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting.
• Manage the annual external audit process and resolve technical accounting matters.
• Staff management of a team of 3 accountants
• Maintain a strong internal control environment across the organisation.
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and ensure financial integrity across all reporting.
• Develop and enhance finance policies, procedures and governance frameworks.
• Support risk management and organisational accountability. .
• Provide analysis and recommendations to support strategic and operational decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with donor and funder requirements.

Candidate Profile
Essential Qualifications & Experience

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Significant experience leading financial control and reporting within a complex or multi-entity organisation.
• Strong technical accounting expertise, including statutory reporting and audit management.
• Experience implementing and maintaining robust financial controls and governance frameworks.
• Experience within the charity, NGO or international development sector.

Desirable Experience

• Experience with finance transformation, ERP implementation or process improvement projects.
