We are looking for a thoughtful and dedicated In Memory Officer to join our Fundraising and Communications Team. This is a deeply meaningful role, offering the opportunity to shape how we support people to remember and celebrate those who matter most to them, while helping to generate vital income for our hospice services.
In this role, you will lead the delivery and development of our in-memory fundraising programme, creating compassionate and engaging ways for supporters to honour loved ones. You will take ownership of key initiatives such as Light up a Life and Memory Meadow, while also exploring new opportunities for people to connect, remember and give. Alongside this, you will play a central role in shaping our bereavement communications, ensuring supporters receive thoughtful, timely and sensitive engagement throughout their journey.
This position brings together creativity, organisation and empathy. You will be confident managing multiple projects, using data and insight to inform your work, and delivering high-quality communications across a range of channels. Just as importantly, you will have the emotional intelligence and judgement needed to work in sensitive situations, ensuring every interaction reflects the care and compassion at the heart of Trinity Hospice.
Collaboration is key to success in this role. You will work closely with colleagues across fundraising, communications and clinical teams, as well as building relationships within the local community, including funeral directors and supporters. Together, you will help create a seamless and supportive experience for bereaved families while growing a sustainable and impactful in memory giving programme.

Supporter Relations Executive
The Supporter Relations and Fundraising Operations team at Alzheimer’s Research UK is a key point of contact in the charity for supporters and members of the public and ensures the highest standards in operational processes and compliance, in order to ensure a first-class supporter experience.
The Supporter Relations Executive will be responsible for delivering supporter facing engagement activities ensuring delivery of an excellent experience for every contact, recognise opportunities to increase supporter loyalty, and generate the maximum amount of income for dementia research. This role primarily works within the Supporter Relations sub- team alongside other Executives. To ensure appropriate resourcing across the wider team and maintain SLAs, the role will also carry out donation processing and other operational tasks relating to supporter activities, where required.

Key Responsibilities:
Supporter Enquiry Management
· Provide exceptional supporter care, ensuring every supporter and member of the public enjoys an outstanding experience when engaging with the charity, in all communications: inbound telephone calls, emails, social media messages and enquiries by post.
· Respond to a wide range of enquiries including marketing campaigns, donations, fundraising events and requests for materials, within a timely and professional manner.
· Receive and respond to feedback and complaints from members of the public and supporters, as the first point of contact in the team, escalating where required.
· Ensure the integrity of the CRM database, Salesforce, by amending supporter records accurately, including coding of and processing donations.
· Promote fundraising, engagement and retention opportunities when communicating with supporters, using a range of initiatives to explain the positive impact of their donations in contributing to the charity mission, ‘for a cure’.
· Ensure formal guidelines and best practice are adhered to in relation to Direct Debits, Gift Aid, FR codes of Fundraising Practice, Gambling Commission, and Data Protection Act.
Supporter Stewardship:
· Engage in outbound telephone calls and written communications to increase the value of, or to retain supporters; this will include thanking, stewardship activity, obtaining Gift Aid declarations and vulnerability checks.
· Support the Fundraising Relationship team to manage accounts specific to their regions, to ensure excellent supporter stewardship.
· Effectively and consistently seek opportunities to build networks among our fundraising community, ensuring these are directed to appropriate fundraising teams.
· Seek opportunities for repeat fundraising, by identifying opportunities and engaging with supporters as part of our re-engagement process.
· Manage the supporter follow‑up process to ensure funds are received promptly and accurately.
· Engage supporters in the best practice in ‘in aid of’ fundraising policies and deliver promotion of this opportunity.
Knowledge, skills and experience needed:
· Experience of working in a customer facing role.
· Experience of handling queries and complaints.
· Confidence working with computers – good knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and CRM databases.
· Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
· Confident and engaging telephone manner.
· Ability to work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
· Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload.
· A professional and hard-working team player with a positive and collaborative work ethic.

Ways of working:
As part of our Agile ways of working you will be required to work approximately 2 days a week from the office, which is subject to the requirements of the role and the business needs. Flexibility on where you work can be split between working from home and our office.
Roles that are classed as part of the Agile ways of working are not able to claim any costs for Mileage/Travel on Public Transport, Accommodation and/or Meals. This includes when attending the office for various meetings/events.

We’re looking for an ambitious Partnerships Officer (internally Executive) to help drive income by supporting and building profitable, long-term partnerships with individuals and organisations. NSW is initially focusing on two of the South West’s most vital natural systems: rivers and wetlands, and coastal and marine habitats. By convening partners, sharing expertise, and championing investible nature recovery opportunities, NSW is positioning the South West as a national leader in nature-based solutions and unlocking new pathways for public and private investment.
Key areas of work will include:
- Responsibility for all aspects of project coordination and delivery of the Nature South West Project Plan, activities and outputs.

Job Description:
Management and Strategy
- Support the policy portfolio of campaigns and projects across our national policy areas, including on food prices and food inflation, our Good Food Bill campaign, Healthy Start and early years.
- Work closely with the Policy and Advocacy Manager to develop and implement project plans and deliverables across these areas
- Maintain a careful record of our policy impact according to our agreed metrics within our Monitoring Evaluation and Learning framework.
- Policy and research
- Synthesize evidence for and play a significant part in the development of position statements/briefings/reports, working closely with the wider policy team and our designer.
- Support the Public Affairs lead to develop policy products for use in parliamentary engagement.
- Working closely with our Research Lead, identify evidence gaps and policy research questions which are relevant to our policy work to support new positions and generate new ideas for research or evidence collection which help achieve our policy goals.

Communications and campaigns
- Develop a comprehensive approach to dissemination of our policy outputs so they reach our intended audiences.
- Act as a local/regional media spokesperson, brief journalists, and respond to media queries.
- Contribute policy and evidence expertise to support campaign delivery.
- Contribute policy expertise to press releases, newsletters, web copy, podcasts and blogs.
- Support the maintenance of website pages related to project areas.
- Draft social media posts and newsletters.
Personal Profile
Technical skills:
- Knowledge and understanding of the food system, food and nutrition and/or health policy and policy levers for change.
- Strong knowledge of the mechanics of the UK policy-making landscape, including the workings of Westminster and Whitehall.
- Proven experience in synthesising evidence and using evidence to make a case for change.
- Proven experience in writing reports and briefings for different audiences, with the ability to explain complex and highly nuanced subject matter in plain English.

TITLE: Borough Service Manager - Ealing

REPORTS TO: Operations Manager
JOB PURPOSE: To manage and develop the Weekend Social Club on behalf of the organisation within the agreed business plan.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1.Running a Service
The Borough Service Manager is responsible for ensuring that the running of a service is done in line with Build on Belief mission to offer a place where clients users and volunteers can get on-going peer support from others with similar experiences through a range of activities, in line with Build on Belief Core Values and abiding by the Policies and Procedures of Build on Belief and the Build on Belief Standards of Practice and Operational Guidelines (hereafter referred to as SOPOG).
2. Staff Management
The Borough Service Manager will be responsible for a small team and will be in charge of ensuring that their Service Support Workers, Team Leaders, Facilitators and Volunteers work within the Policies and Procedures applicable to them and the SOPOG.
They will be responsible for the supervision of their Service Support Workers and the Team Leaders. The remaining volunteers will be supervised by Build on Belief Service Support Workers.
The Borough Service Manager will be accountable for ensuring their Service Support Workers complete accurate timesheets, comply with the Annual Leave policy, report absence, and keep accurate financial records and petty cash and supervise volunteers in accordance with the SOPOG.
The Borough Service Manager will support the Service Support Workers in ensuring that all required reporting and paperwork is submitted on time and to acceptable levels of competency.
3. Finance
The Borough Service Manager is responsible for all financial accounting and reporting related to the day to day running of their service in accordance with the SOPOG.
The Borough Service Manager will be accountable for all petty cash activities in the service centre ensuring the following:
• All financial matter relating to petty cash and vouchers are undertaken in line with the guidelines set down in the SOPOG.
• For the reporting of all financial matters to the Chief Operating Officer within the timelines set down in the SOPOG.
• For accurate and immediate reporting of any financial irregularities to the Chief Operating Officer within 24 hours of them coming to notice.
4. Training
While the in-house training programme will still be delivered centrally, or on-line the Borough Service Manager is accountable for ensuring that they, and/or their Service Support Workers deliver the following workshops to their volunteer teams three times per calendar year:
• Boundaries and Confidentiality
• Safeguarding
• Communication Skills
• Dealing with Difficult Behaviour
• Diversity & Discrimination
5. BoB Policies and Procedures
As per their contract of employment, Borough Service Managers are responsible for abiding by all Build on Belief Policies and Procedures and to make sure Service Support Workers and Volunteers also comply with the policies that are applicable to them. This includes the Standards of Practice and Operating Guidelines.
In addition to compliance with the Serious Incident Policy, all Team Leaders and Service Support Workers are responsible for reporting all incidents occurring in their service as detailed below. The Borough Service Manager is accountable for ensuring the guidelines below are adhered to without exception.
6. Incident Reporting
The Borough Service Manager will be responsible for ensuring Incident Reporting is done within both the guidelines and timelines set out in the SOPOG.
•All incidents, including those that may be considered minor, persistent, and abusive language being and example, will be reported in writing within 24 hours of their occurrence.
•Incidents that take place on-line or through other digital activity will also be reported in writing within 24 hours.
•Incidents will be recorded on the Build on Belief incident report form and sent to the Chief Executive. They will be password protected.
•It is expected that the Chief Executive will be notified by telephone of serious incidents on the day of their occurrence. When the Chief Executive is unavailable, through sickness or annual leave, it is expected that the incident will be reported by telephone to the Head of Services.
•Where applicable, incidents will be uploaded onto Datix within 24 hours of their occurrence.
•Any incident that results in an individual being excluded from a service, however short a period, will be considered an incident and must be reported in writing within 24 hours of its occurrence. It should be noted; there are no exceptions to the above.
7. Relationship Management
The Borough Service Manager will be accountable to work in partnership with the service providers ensuring an effective and constructive relationship with them as well as engagement with the local community, in compliance with the SOPOG rules and the Code of Conduct making sure all issues and incidents are reported to the Chief Executive.
8. General
•To promote and represent the BoB Social Club to service users and service professionals in the Borough, ensuring access to any service user who might benefit from the project.
•To ensure the services provided by the Social Club are run in a safe, supportive, and non-discriminatory fashion in line with Build on Belief Core Values and abiding by the Policies and Procedures of Build on Belief and the Build on Belief Standards of Practice and Operational Guidelines.
•To ensure the Social Club meets the needs of the service user community in the Borough, and to carry out development work to the service when necessary.
•To ensure the Service Support Workers, Team Leaders, Facilitators and Volunteer work within the Policies and Procedures applicable to them and the SOPOG, and receive supervision as detailed in those policies.
•To ensure that incidents are dealt with effectively and within the guidelines set down in the Policies and Procedures and SOPOG, and that all such incidents are reported in writing as detailed in those policies.
•To work with the Operations Manager regarding the development of the weekend service and the management of volunteers.
•To record statistical data relating to service users attending the Social Club and submit monthly reports to the Operations Manager. To provide end of year statistical reports and analysis of said data, working with the Operations Manager.
•To promote Social Club services and events to service users and service professionals within the Borough in conjunction with the other Managers of BoB services.
•To work with other members of staff to ensure the service is run in line with the Standards of Practice and Operational Guidelines for the charity.
•To attend Build on Belief Management Committee Meeting in the role Borough Service Manager, and other such meetings as may be deemed necessary, and to work within those meetings for the best interests of the Social Club and the local partnership.
•To prepare for and attend monthly supervision session with the Operations Manager.

Are you a passionate Learning & Development professional who knows how to turn strategy into engaging, high-impact learning?
We’re looking for an experienced L&D Manager to join us in Vauxhall, working full time, 35 hours per week, leading the delivery of an organisation-wide learning strategy that develops people, builds capability and drives performance.
This is a fantastic opportunity to shape learning across a purpose-led organisation, leading a team of facilitators and working closely with senior leaders, HR and subject matter experts to deliver training that truly makes a difference.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead the delivery of organisational learning programmes including induction, compliance, leadership, management, EDI and behavioural skills
- Manage and develop a team of L&D Training Facilitators
- Oversee training schedules and rotas to ensure seamless delivery across the business
- Step in to facilitate sessions where required
- Partner with internal teams to translate specialist knowledge into engaging, practical training
- Ensure all learning content is high-quality, inclusive and aligned to business needs
- Own LMS content, reporting, training data and performance metrics
- Support annual and quarterly L&D planning, KPI reporting and continuous improvement
- Oversee apprenticeships, skills mapping and development pathways
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in L&D, facilitation and people management
- Strong track record designing and delivering both digital and face-to-face learning
- Ability to analyse training needs and measure learning impact
- Confident communicator who can engage a wide range of audiences
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Experience using Microsoft Office and LMS platforms
- Experience delivering training linked to therapeutic, recovery-focused or psychosocial practice
Ideally, you’ll also have:
- Experience in the charity, social care, justice or recovery sectors
- Knowledge of apprenticeships or accredited programmes
- CIPD qualification (or equivalent)
Qualifications:
- Level 5 Certificate/Diploma in Learning & Development (or willingness to work towards)

Accommodation-Based Services Manager
We are looking for an Accommodation-Based Services Manager to lead and shape an award-winning service supporting women to live free from abuse.

The Role
As Accommodation-Based Services Manager, you will lead the operational delivery of the refuge and accommodation services across the West Midlands.
You will provide strategic and operational leadership, ensuring services are safe, compliant and survivor-centred. You will oversee staff teams, safeguarding practice, housing management, and quality assurance, while contributing to the ongoing development of services.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage accommodation-based services, ensuring safe, high-quality and effective delivery
- Line manage the Senior Support Workers and provide overall leadership across accommodation services, including recruitment, supervision, performance management, training and rota/on-call cover
- Take overall responsibility for safeguarding practice, including oversight of high-risk cases
- Ensure robust risk assessment, safety planning and casework standards
- Oversee referrals, admissions, occupancy and move-on processes
- Ensure effective housing management, including rent systems, housing benefit and arrears monitoring
- Maintain oversight of health and safety, property compliance and refuge security
- Lead on quality assurance, audits, monitoring and continuous improvement
- Ensure accurate reporting to funders, commissioners and senior management
- Manage budgets and monitor expenditure
- Develop strong partnerships with relevant stakeholders, attend multi-agency meetings and represent the organisation externally
About You
You are an experienced and confident leader with a strong track record in managing accommodation-based or refuge services.
You will:
- Have Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care, Housing, Management (or equivalent experience) plus evidence of continuous professional development
- Bring significant experience of services management within the domestic abuse or VAWG sector, including managing accommodation-based or refuge services
- Have strong expertise in safeguarding and managing high-risk cases
- Be able to lead, motivate and develop teams to deliver high standards
- Have experience managing compliance and complex operations within housing services and knowledge of benefits and refuge processes
- Be confident managing competing priorities and driving service improvement
- Be a strong communicator with the ability to influence and build partnerships
- Be committed to equality, diversity and anti-discriminatory practice
- Have strong organisational, leadership and IT skills (Microsoft Office and case management/ database systems)
- Ability to participate in an on-call rota and work flexibly

Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust (YDMT) is seeking a driven and entrepreneurial professional to lead and grow our charity’s trading arm, YDMTCL. This is a newly created and exciting opportunity for someone with strong business development and leadership skills to build on the success of our Landscape Design team, while also originating and leading your own projects to strengthen commercial performance and impact.
About the role
YDMTCL currently delivers landscape design services through a team of two Landscape Architects, working across urban, rural and community regeneration projects. The team combines strong technical expertise with creative design skills to deliver high quality green infrastructure and green space solutions.
The company currently has an annual turnover of under £100,000 and a clear ambition to double this over the next two to three years. The postholder will play a key role in driving this growth and will be expected to make significant progress towards this target during the 18 month contract period. All profits generated by YDMTCL are gifted back to the charity, directly supporting its charitable objectives.
This role will be primarily focused on the trading company, with approximately 90% of time dedicated to YDMTCL and up to 10% supporting the wider charity. You will originate and lead your own projects, creating vital new income streams for the organisation. Your work will focus on integrating ecology and landscape design to deliver innovative, high quality projects that contribute meaningfully to nature recovery.

Commercially astute, you will demonstrate a strong history of income generation and business growth, ideally within conservation, land management, landscape design and/or ecology. You will lead the development of vital new income streams, building and delivering an active pipeline of revenue generating projects aligned with the charity’s aims.
