About the Role

As Public Affairs and Campaigns Officer, you will lead on the development and delivery of impactful advocacy campaigns and public affairs activity, managing supporter journeys and mobilisation, as well as political engagement. It involves building strong relationships with parliamentarians, Samaritans branches and people with lived experience, while producing high‑quality campaign actions, briefings, events, and intelligence to influence change.

This exciting role will lead on all aspects of the finance function, including managing managing the Finance & Systems Officer, overseeing the production of year-end accounts in collaboration with internal stakeholders and auditors, and preparing monthly management accounts for reports to the Senior managers and trustees. Responsibilities also include stewardship of the Foundation’s liquid assets, leading the budgeting and forecasting processes, verifying monthly payroll prepared by HR, and ensuring the efficient operation of the purchase ledger function.

What does the role involve?

• Coordinate across the Foundation and help prepare the annual statutory accounts and all schedules for audit and be the lead liaison with the auditors.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and budgets for review by senior management, providing analysis and other measures of performance.
• Lead on improving processes and systems across all aspects of finance and liaising with the wider organisation to drive these forward.

What skills, knowledge and experience are we looking for?

• Up to date knowledge of charity financial legislation and best practice
• Innovative in the development of processes, procedures and information systems to support the work of the team and organisation
• Demonstrable successful accounting experience in a similar role, ideally within the charity sector

Share is seeking an Executive Assistant to our Senior Leadership Team. In this role you will support Share’s four-person SLT to work effectively by assisting with the administrative aspects of their work and liaising with Share’s trustees.

Main responsibilities

• Provide high-level and comprehensive executive support to the SLT (CEO, Head of People and Culture, Head of Wellbeing and Training, Head of Volunteering and Community Services), including efficient coordination of meetings, monitoring of actions for / relationships with trustees, and other administrative tasks;
• Support the CEO, Head of Volunteering and Community Services, and external fundraising consultants with fundraising e.g. arrange meetings with donors, sending out collateral, researching grants that we can apply for, capturing reporting and acknowledgement requirements.

Greater Change

Founded in 2018 by Alex McCallion and Jonathan Tan, Greater Change is an NGO providing cash grants to support people to overcome the financial barriers on their pathway out of homelessness using personalised budgets.

We partner with frontline charities and support workers who refer people to us who would benefit from our financial support. The personalised budgets (supported cash transfers) we provide are typically for rent deposits, ID documents, training courses etc. 

On average, Greater Change spends £1,400 per individual and last year 85% of the people we supported sustained their move into stable housing, saving the public purse over £41,000 per person per annum.

Philanthropy Manager 

We are looking for an entrepreneurial, ambitious and relationship-driven Philanthropy Manager to help grow Greater Change’s income, impact, and profile. Reporting to the Head of Growth and working closely with the CEO, this is a hands-on role suited to someone who can be creative and structured.

You will lead key income streams across High Net Worth Individuals, Trusts and Foundations, and fundraising events, delivering high-quality proposals and thoughtful stewardship that strengthens long-term partnerships.

The ideal candidate will be someone who understands how we are maximising impact and cost-effectiveness. You will be able to clearly communicate how our work delivers meaningful outcomes.

Above all, we are looking for someone proactive and thoughtful, who is motivated to play a key role in scaling a high-impact, evidence-led solution to homelessness.

Main Responsibilities

1. Work closely with the CEO on philanthropic relationships, including supporting the Development Board’s engagement, meetings, and follow-ups.

2. Lead all trusts and foundation activity end-to-end, including prospect research, applications and producing reports, while tracking funding deadlines, maintaining a clear pipeline, and providing regular progress updates to the CEO and Head of Growth.

3. Prepare high-quality proposals, cases for support, presentations, and donor communications.

4. Co-lead on developing and maintaining corporate partnerships with the Head of Growth 

5. Manage individual giving, with a focus on donor stewardship and growth.

6. Lead the planning and delivery of fundraising and stewardship events, including stewardship and fundraising events organised by the Greater Change and our Development Board

About the Role

This is a senior leadership opportunity with significant influence and visibility.

As a Domestic Abuse Specialist working for Aurora New Dawn, you will work to strengthen the police response to domestic abuse by providing independent, specialist expertise within police control rooms.

Based in a local police control room you will work alongside call handlers, dispatchers, and officers to:

• assess risk and ensure no opportunities for safeguarding are missed
• quality assure police responses to domestic abuse calls
• review incident logs, DASH/DARA risk assessments, and Body Worn Video (BWV) footage
• provide operational advice to officers deploying to incidents
• identify and facilitate referrals into specialist domestic abuse support services
• improve victim safety from the very first point of contact

Working under the direction of a Senior member of staff you will work independently but collaboratively with Thames Valley police, and in line with our organisational values.

This role involves supporting and developing police staff within police centres. There may also be occasions in the future where you attend callouts alongside officers to observe their engagement with victims, to provide feedback that supports risk assessment and safeguarding processes.

PLEASE NOTE: This is an on-site role which requires you to be co-located within police control rooms and/or call centres during your shifts.

MAIN DUTIES

1. Call Review and Quality Assurance

• Listen to live or recently recorded 101/999 calls to assess victim engagement and identify missed domestic abuse indicators.
• Provide constructive, specialist feedback to call handlers to strengthen practice.
• Review selected calls or conduct sampling to identify domestic abuse calls that may have been missed.
• Review body-worn video (BWV) footage as required.

1. Risk Assessment and Escalation

• Review DASH/DARA risk assessments, police logs, and intelligence systems to identify concerns.
• Escalate cases requiring regrading or altered response times to the Force Control Room (FCR) Inspector, documenting all recommendations.
• Identify risk patterns and ensure timely action to safeguard victims.

1. Operational Advice for Officers and Control Room Staff

• Provide attending officers with relevant operational advice and background information via manual intelligence checks, such as:

Ø  protective order status

Ø  history of prior callouts

Ø  known risk indicators

Ø  relevant vulnerabilities or perpetrator patterns

• Add safeguarding information to dispatch logs as appropriate.

1. Multi‑Agency Work and Referrals

• Work closely with the local Victims First Hub, other specialist services and relevant ‘By and For’ organisations to facilitate appropriate onward referrals.
• Provide guidance on appropriate pathways for victims based on risk, identity, and need.
• Support the development of posters, guidance, and resources for FCR staff relating to out‑of‑hours support.

1. Learning, Development and Culture Change

• Support, inform, and where appropriate deliver training for call handlers and new recruits.
• Contribute to identifying themes, patterns, and learning for organisational improvement.
• Participate in review meetings with TVP, OPCC, and the Aurora Management Team.

1. Independence, Governance and Data

• Maintain strict independence while collaborating constructively with police colleagues.
• Work within data protection legislation and information sharing policies, including in relation to police data.
• Maintain accurate, confidential case and activity records.

DOMESTIC ABUSE SPECIALIST

Essential Skills, Knowledge & Experience

• Demonstrable, direct experience of supporting victims of domestic abuse.

About the role​

​As Events Fundraising Assistant you’ll support the recruitment, care and stewardship of event participants making sure their fundraising experience across a diverse programme of mass participation and challenge events with Samaritans is exceptional.

You will build long lasting relationships with supporters while developing valuable experience in charity events fundraising.

You’ll work closely with colleagues across External Engagement, other central teams, and our incredible network of branch volunteers.​

• Support the recruitment and stewardship of participants taking part in events and challenges

• Deliver participant care plans that inspire fundraising and build lasting relationships with Samaritans

• Process grants and claims relating to volunteer uniform allowances.
• Review and submit applications for UKSV Security Clearances and MOD 90 ID Cards.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an operations professional who shares EJF’s commitment to environmental justice and is ready to take on real responsibility across a fast-growing global non-profit organisation.

As Operations Officer, you will play a hands-on role in keeping EJF's international operations running smoothly across 16 countries on four continents, with a particular focus on our five European offices.

Your remit will be broad. From ensuring offices function efficiently and IT systems operate safely, to providing HR support to line managers and coordinating across teams in multiple time zones, no two days will look the same. Over time, you will develop a working knowledge of the full operational landscape of an international NGO, building skills and experience across functions that few comparable roles can offer.

You will bring at least three years of experience in an operations, coordination, or administrative role, ideally in an international or multi-site environment. You will also have strong organisational skills, sound judgement, and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.

Key responsibilities
