The Centre Assistant will be the first point of contact clients and visitors will have with Smart Works, providing administrative, phone and booking support for clients across Bristol and beyond. About the Role
The South London Centre Manager will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day management, smooth running and development of the South London centre and Smart Works service in Croydon.
They will oversee the delivery of a high-quality Smart Works service, to include managing centre operations, leading and supporting the volunteer community, and building strong relationships with local partners and stakeholders, to ensure that Smart Works is well-embedded in the South London community.
The Centre Manager will be a highly organised and proactive individual who enjoys making things happen. They will be equally comfortable managing the practical running of a busy public-facing centre, supporting clients and volunteers, representing Smart Works externally and identifying opportunities to grow the service.

Supporter Care Officer (Fundraising)
The Royal Free Charity is seeking an ambitious, motivated and talented supporter care officer to join their fundraising team.

Role details
· Salary: £30,724 - £33,910 per annum - subject to skills and experience
· Hours of work: 37.5 hours a week over five days
· Base: Hybrid working for the foreseeable future, with regular attendance in the office two days a week, including Thursdays, at our central office:
- Pears Building, Pond Street, London, NW3 2PP
Other office days may be worked from other sites at:
- Barnet Hospital, Wellhouse Lane, Barnet, EN5 3DJ
- Chase Farm Hospital, 127 The Ridgeway, Enfield, EN2 8JL
The role
The supporter care officerwill report to the senior individual giving manager.
We are looking for a Supporter Care Officer to deliver an exceptional experience for our fundraising supporters, ensuring every interaction with Royal Free Charity is positive, engaging and supporter centred.
The postholder will combine excellent front-line supporter stewardship with a proactive approach to improving processes and ways of working, helping to ensure supporters receive the highest standard of care throughout their journey with us.
The team
Our dynamic fundraising department generated £4.5m through donations in 2025/26, and we are now preparing for an ambitious £50m fundraising campaign in support of a ground-breaking £100m cancer centre on the site of the Royal Free Hospital.
We pride ourselves on being a supporter-focused and agile function, working at the heart of the charity to deliver impact for patients and staff across our hospitals.
Responsible for attracting and retaining donors, and delivering an outstanding supporter experience, the fundraising department comprises three teams which work closely together to achieve our shared objectives:
