About the role: 

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Programme Funding Officer to join a dynamic team at a growing international development charity based in Bristol, delivering transformational change for some of the world’s most vulnerable people, living on the frontlines of the climate crisis. You will work closely with the Programme Funding team to secure and maximise restricted incoming from institutional donors, trusts, foundations, and corporates across all Tree Aid countries of operation.

Main duties: 

• Support the development and submission of compelling and high-quality proposals and funding applications.
• Generate new restricted income to expand and strengthen Tree Aid’s programme portfolio, including contributing to securing match funding.
• Deliver excellent donor stewardship to build, maintain, and grow strong relationships with a diverse range of funders.
• Identify and research new funding opportunities aligned with organisational priorities and share prospects with UK and country teams.
• Support donor reporting by contributing to accurate, timely donor reports and project updates as part of effective donor liaison.

About the Role

The prime purpose of the Chief Operating Officer is to strengthen the organisational foundations of Jerry Green Dog Rescue (JGDR) by leading and modernising the charity’s support services, developing scalable and efficient processes across the charity and leading the digital transformation, improving financial and compliance disciplines, and enabling the delivery of the People & Culture Strategy.

This role provides critical senior leadership capacity as the organisation enters a period of significant expansion—growing its income, workforce, and impact. The COO will build the systems, processes and capabilities required for a modern, accountable, data-led, financially resilient, safe, and high- performing organisation.

Working closely and collaboratively with the Chief Executive and wider Senior Leadership Team, the COO will drive operational excellence, champion continuous improvement, and ensure the organisation meets all regulatory and statutory obligations, enabling teams to deliver the charity’s purpose effectively.

The Role

Reporting to the Director, this is an exciting opportunity to lead and strengthen our fundraising strategy, ensuring sustainable growth in income to support our mission of protecting and restoring tropical forests and inspiring climate action.

The Fundraising Manager will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing an ambitious fundraising strategy, with a strong focus on corporate partnerships and trusts.

Working closely with the Director, Deputy Director, Finance and Grants Manager and Communications and Digital Marketing Manager, you will drive forward fundraising targets, cultivate new opportunities, and consolidate existing partnerships. This role requires both strategic leadership and hands-on delivery, ensuring our fundraising approach is robust, ethical, and aligned with our values.

Key Responsibilities

 1. Strategy Development and Income Generation

● Develop and deliver a comprehensive fundraising strategy for the charity (with a strong but not exclusive focus on corporate partnerships),  aligned with the charity’s 5-year strategic plan.

● Research, identify, and build a pipeline of new funding opportunities to diversify and expand income streams, such as corporate partners, trusts and foundations,  high net worth individuals and individual giving.

● Prepare due diligence checks on potential new funding opportunities to be presented to the board / senior management.

● Develop compelling cases for support and tailored proposals to secure significant income from corporate partners primarily.

2. Systems and Process Improvement

● Establish and implement new systems for organising, stewarding, and monitoring corporate funders, ensuring efficiency and compliance.

● Introduce clear processes for donor stewardship, including trackers, reporting templates and potentially a new CRM system. 

● Ensure all fundraising activities comply with fundraising regulations, data protection requirements, and ethical fundraising principles.

3. Relationship Management and Stewardship

● Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective corporate funders through effective stewardship and engagement.

● Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver excellent relationship management for corporate partners.

● Work with the Communications and Marketing Manager to maximise fundraising campaigns such as the Big Give. 

4. Events and Engagement

● Lead on the planning and delivery of a flagship summer event designed to attract funders, with the aim of securing new partnerships and long-term support.

● Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the event is well-promoted, impactful, and aligned with the charity’s mission.

● Organise and attend meetings, presentations, and other events to engage with funders and promote the charity’s work. 

5. Reporting and Evaluation

● Monitor and report on fundraising income targets, maintaining accurate records of all funders and partnerships.

● Working with the relevant programmes teams, provide regular impact reports to funders, demonstrating the outcomes of their support.

● Evaluate the success of fundraising initiatives and identify areas for improvement.

6. Team Collaboration

● Work collaboratively across the team to develop funding proposals and case studies.

● Work closely with the Communications and Digital Fundraising Manager to develop online donations and regular gifts and improve the digital marketing and eNewsletter (for increasing donations). 

● Contribute to innovative fundraising campaigns and activities.

● Support and participate in wider organisational activities, including events and cross‑team initiatives as required.

● Contribute to annual budget setting and targets for fundraising.

● Line management of volunteers as required.

Training will be provided to ensure that all candidates feel supported in their role and progress in their career development. Welsh language training will be offered to support learning if necessary. IT training in WordPress and other essential software will also be offered. Travel across Wales will be required.

Building Tomorrow – Neighbourhood Housing Project Lead

Oasis exists to build stronger communities where there is no one left out. Building Tomorrow is an innovative new neighbourhood housing programme that Oasis is developing in Sheffield and Scunthorpe.

We are pioneering a new community-led solution to housing challenges in two communities where Oasis already works, running five schools and two community Hubs. We are working to develop quality housing that offers opportunity for families to find a stable and supportive place of belonging in community.

The programme will combine quality housing, excellent education (provided through Oasis academies), and community wrap-around support (delivered through our existing youth and community teams). This programme is designed to offer a preventative approach to housing challenges, acting as a proof of concept that can be replicated in other communities around the country. 

This role will act as the central point of coordination which will ensure Building Tomorrow moves successfully from initiation to full activation over the initial 18-month period. In the activation period, we will purchase and refurbish the 20 properties, and this role will work in close coordination with our property consultants. As properties are purchased, we will begin to move into the delivery phase, where we start to house families.

What will you do?

The key areas of responsibility for the role are as follows:

· To act as the main link between all stakeholders: the Oasis teams including academies; contractors; and any community partners. To make sure everyone is communicating effectively and working toward the same goal.

· To work in close collaboration with Oasis Community Leaders in Sheffield and Scunthorpe. To support the Community Leaders and wider community teams to welcome families by acting as a key part of the community support offer through the 18-month activation phase.

· To own the 18-month master plan. This will involve tracking progress, analysing potential delays, and proactively solving problems so the activation stays on time and on budget.

· To focus on transitioning the housing element from a period of acquisition and refurbishment into functioning homes. This includes everything from smooth resident move-ins to ensuring the community support is fully accessible.

· To work alongside colleagues in the Operations Group to design operational processes including the community support offer, housing management systems, and tenancy arrangements. 

· To help the team set clear, achievable goals for the activation period and then track whether those goals are being met, providing regular, honest updates to all stakeholders.

As an interim Supervising Solicitor in Public Law, you will supervise and carry out CPAG’s public law legal aid cases, to benefit families and children in poverty. You will play an active role in managing CPAG’s legal practice and conduct high-profile public law litigation.

A solid understanding of legacy fundraising principles, supporter journeys, and the sensitivities involved in discussing gifts in wills and bereavement-related giving is also important. In addition, the role requires excellent relationship-management skills, as it involves working closely with donors, families, colleagues, and partners such as Legacy Links to ensure compassionate and consistent supporter care. Familiarity with CRM systems, data analysis, and reporting tools will support effective monitoring of income and campaign performance. A background in charity communications or stewardship, coupled with empathy, tact, and attention to detail, will ensure the fundraiser can successfully manage initiatives such as the Heart of Oak Memory Tree and continue to grow the organisation’s in memory programme.

The Chief Executive will provide clear, compassionate, and forward-looking leadership that strengthens Beyond Reflections’ impact and ensures our services remain safe, accessible, and responsive to the needs of the Trans+ community. They will translate the Board’s vision into organisational strategy, oversee effective operations, and build a culture rooted in our values of respect, inclusion, and empowerment. They will be responsible for guiding the charity through a period of growth in response to increasing demand. This includes developing partnerships across the charity and public sectors, driving financial sustainability, supporting staff and volunteers, and ensuring our services maintain the highest standards of quality and safeguarding.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Organisational Development

● Lead the delivery of the charity’s strategic plan, ensuring the organisation remains responsive to the needs of the Trans+ community.

● Identify opportunities for growth, innovation, and collaboration across the sector.

● Translate strategic priorities into clear operational objectives and measurable outcomes.

Governance, Risk & Compliance

● Act as the primary link between the Board of Trustees and the organisation, ensuring clear communication and timely implementation of Board decisions.

● Ensure full compliance with charity law, safeguarding requirements, quality standards, and regulatory obligations.

● Provide clear, accurate reporting to the Board to support effective governance and decision-making.

● Maintain strong organisational risk management and business continuity processes.

Operational Leadership & Service Delivery

● Oversee high-quality delivery of all services, including support groups, counselling, therapy, mentoring, training, and volunteering programmes.

● Lead and support the senior management team (e.g., Operations, Therapeutic, and Fundraising leads) to ensure effective operational oversight.

● Promote continuous improvement, data-informed decision-making, and consistent service standards across online and in-person provision.

People, Culture & Wellbeing

● Foster an inclusive, trauma-informed, and person-centred organisational culture that reflects the charity’s values.

● Recruit, lead, and develop staff, ensuring strong performance and wellbeing.

● Support and integrate volunteers across service delivery, promoting engagement, recognition, and effective practice.

External Relations & Partnerships

● Act as an ambassador for Beyond Reflections, representing the charity to funders, partners, policymakers, statutory bodies, and the media.

● Build strategic partnerships, including collaboration with broader LGBTQIA+ organisations and health/social care providers.

● Advocate for Trans+ people, contributing to policy, awareness, and sector development.

● Ensure member voices inform organisational decisions and strategic direction.

Finance, Fundraising & Sustainability

● Lead financial planning, budgeting, and stewardship to ensure sustainability and value for money.

● Grow diversified income streams, including unrestricted funding, grants, training revenue, and corporate partnerships.

Oasis in North East Lincolnshire is at an exciting stage of development. We are looking to appoint a dynamic strategic lead to develop and grow our children’s, youth and community work across the two separate Oasis neighbourhoods that work together to form the Hub charity.  The two neighbourhoods are South ward in Grimsby and Immingham. · Responsibility for systems development and management across the Community Charity including all policy and procedures such as financial management, health and safety, safeguarding etc.

· Growing a team of staff and volunteers to deliver the objectives in the Community Plan that directly support students and their families in the Academy(ies) and members of the local community.

This role combines operational leadership, case allocation and triage, supervision and quality oversight, alongside holding a small caseload of complex cases. You will help ensure high-quality, trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming advocacy in line with ISVA national minimum standards, safeguarding requirements and contract outcomes. 

The Team Leader plays a central role in embedding trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming practice, supporting safe and reflective decision-making, and representing Respond in key operational and steering forums and working groups. And plays a vital role in building a culture of safe, accountable, and reflective practice and in ensuring advocacy services are delivered with care, consistency, and impact.

An accredited ISVA qualification is essential.
